anchor of On Point with Tomi Lahren on One America News
Network (OANN), ended her program Saturday by excoriating President Obama for
not affirming the attack in Chattanooga was the result of “radical Islam” and
not “workplace violence.”
Lahren, originally
from Rapid City,
S.D., was given the opportunity to host a show on OANN at 22-years-old last
September after graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. “Four
United States Marines are now dead,” Lahren said. “Climate change didn’t kill
them. Lack of free community college didn’t kill them. The income gap, wage
inequality — nope, not those things either. Gay marriage? Nope. Oh, white
racism? Not that either. So what did?”

unknown. This is terrorism. The suspected shooter, Muhammad
Abdulazeez, a devout Muslim. Do I care that he seemed like an all American young
man? Do I care that he was good at mixed martial arts or a smart, quiet guy? Do
I care that his high school friends wouldn’t classify him as ‘overly
religious?’
“No, I don’t give a
flying you know what about any of that,” Lahren continued. “Was he linked to
ISIS or al-Qaeda or Hamas, or any of the 15-plus offshoot terrorist groups?
Does it matter? I’m sorry, but radical Islam is becoming the rule, not the
exception. Yesterday’s moderate is today’s terrorist. I care that this SOB
killed four of our United States Marines, and I care that our
commander-in-chief is more concerned with Muslim sensitivity than the honor and
sacrifice made by these Marines.”
Now this is the twenty-first time our military men and
women have been attacked here at home. This is not a Middle East problem, this
is an American problem, and I’m sorry but I can’t sit here and let this go. Not anymore.

aquellos chismosos históricos en La Habana éramos “freelance” nos dedicamos a
averiguar lo que pudimos. Resultó mucho más fácil que lo que pensamos y nos

Donald Trump’s Mouth Is a Nuclear Weapon
America is being lost because the
GOP is bringing knives to a gunfight.
Democrats
clearly hate American exceptionalism, capitalism, entrepreneurship, and
Judeo-Christian values. They hate business owners (see “You didn’t build that”)
and appear to blame American patriotism, white people, business owners and
Christians for every problem in the world today.
The Democrat Party is riddled with
socialists, Marxists and communists hell bent on “fundamentally changing America.”
The Democrat Party is filled with frauds (see
President Barack Obama, Jonathan Gruber and the lies used to sell Obamacare);
traitors (see Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry and the new Iran nuclear
treaty); thieves and conmen (see the scandal involving $2 billion donated to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state);
reckless wasters of taxpayer money (see Obama’s Kenya trip that cost us over $50 million dollars
for one day in a country that
offers America NOTHING ); and outright criminals (see Hillary’s upcoming criminal investigation and Obama’s use of the IRS to target, persecute and even attempt to imprison political
opponents and critics).
But the GOP may be worse.
If there’s anything worse than evil, it’s cowardice in the face of evil.
The GOP leadership is riddled with cowards, wimps and naïve, feckless, country
club powder puffs who have no clue how to fight back against the Democrats
ruining America and destroying our children’s future with debt. Yes, Democrats
are the bad guys. But Republicans are standing by helplessly, scared and
petrified, allowing it to happen.
I suspect many of the Republican leaders in
Washington, D.C. are either being bribed or blackmailed. Exhibit A is Supreme Court Justice Roberts, House Speaker John Boehner and Senate
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. These guys are all either bought and paid for;
or someone is holding a gun to their heads (along with a photo of them in bed
doing something shocking). Don’t believe me? See the criminal case against former
Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert. They are all doing something morally
wrong, or breaking some law. And Obama’s partners in the National Security
Administration and IRS are always watching. America is being lost because the
GOP is bringing knives to a gunfight.
The only way to save America is to bring a nuclear weapon to a gun
fight. And Donald Trump’s mouth is a nuclear weapon.
It’s time to stop being “nice.” “Nice” is okay for
playing golf with Muffy at the country club. But “nice” doesn’t work in
politics. “Nice” guys finish last in politics. “Nice” is getting our country
ruined. “Nice” is killing middle class jobs. “Nice” is wiping out middle class
incomes. “Nice” has led to negative GDP growth. “Nice” has led to more businesses
closing than opening each day for the first time in America’s history. “Nice” has left the border wide
open to an illegal alien invasion, the bankruptcy of America and a terrorist
attack like Sept. 11, 2001.
“Nice” has led to disaster and disgrace all over the globe. The world no
longer has any respect for, or fear of America. We are in decline and disarray.
We are headed for collapse and disaster.
Into this crisis steps “the nuclear mouth” Donald Trump. He isn’t afraid
to put America first. He isn’t afraid to tell the truth. He isn’t afraid of
what the media thinks. He isn’t afraid of being called a “racist” for pointing
out how Obama has damaged and destroyed America. He isn’t afraid to question
Obama’s very mysterious, questionable and troubling past – much of it sealed
away in darkness.
Trump isn’t afraid to fight like our future is on the line because he
understands it is. He isn’t afraid to offend. He isn’t afraid to expose the
cowards and frauds in his own GOP leadership for what they are. He refuses to
be “politically correct” when he sees corruption and idiocy. He won’t back down
or apologize for telling the truth.
Of course the evil Democrats, corrupt and cowardly GOP leadership, and
biased mainstream media hate him. They are all rooting for another Mitt Romney.
Let’s compare Mitt to Donald Trump:
They are both rich white guys. Both famous successful businessmen. Both
Republican presidential candidates past and present. That’s where the
similarity ends.
Mitt Romney is a very nice guy. Mitt has manners. Mitt would never
offend anyone. Mitt let the media run roughshod over him. Mitt would never say
something rude or offensive about Obama or Hillary. Mitt would never accuse
them of crimes against the American people. Mitt would never prosecute Obama or
Hillary if he was elected.
And one other difference: Mitt lost.
It’s no coincidence that Mitt lost. The last thing we need now is
“nice.” It’s also no coincidence that the people in power (evil Democrats, the
corrupt GOP leadership, and the mainstream media) all want another Mitt Romney.
They want the status quo. They want to keep the bribes and blackmail coming.
They don’t want anyone to upset the apple cart.
They are scared to death of Donald Trump, who doesn’t
play by traditional rules or etiquette. They are scared to death of a guy who
can’t be bribed. They are scared to death of a guy who speaks about the hopes,
dreams and fears of middle class Americans. They are scared to death of a
street fighter. They are scared to death of a candidate who is as relentless
for saving America…as Obama is for destroying America. Donald Trump understands
what I call, “The Power of
Relentless.”
Mostly, they are scared to death of Trump’s mouth. The kind of mouth
that could stir up a citizen revolution and topple “business as usual” in
Washington, D.C.
Yes Donald Trump’s mouth is a nuclear weapon. And that’s precisely why
we love him.

Troubles increase for Hillary Clinton

Last week was a bad week for the Democratic front-runner. First, polls
showed Hillary Clinton trailing possible Republican challengers in three key
states. Next, surveys revealed — surprise, surprise! — that voters just don’t
trust her. And finally, a new controversy erupted over classified material on
her private email server.
Put it all together, and it’s no wonder she is plummeting in the polls.
The bad news began when the Quinnipiac
University poll asked voters in Iowa,
Virginia and Colorado to choose between Clinton and three possible Republican
candidates: Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
The survey found her trailing the Republicans in all three states, with
the gap most pronounced in Iowa and Colorado. In Iowa, she trailed Rubio by 8
points, with voters preferring Rubio by 44 percent to 36 percent, and she
trailed Bush by 6 points, 42 percent to 36 percent.
The results weren’t any better in Colorado, where she trailed Rubio by 8
points, 46 percent to 38 percent, and Walker by 9 points, 47 percent to 38
percent. Oh, by the way, a majority of voters in all three states also gave
Clinton failing marks on the question of being honest and trustworthy. In Iowa,
according to the survey, only 33 percent of the voters said she was honest and
trustworthy, while 59 percent said she was not.
And here’s another shock for the Clinton campaign: According to the poll
results, Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders polled almost the exact same numbers
as Clinton. What does it say when an obscure senator from a tiny state, with
only a fraction of Clinton’s staff and money, can match her in the polls?
It says the former secretary of state has failed miserably to appeal to
a majority of potential voters. But that’s no surprise, is it? Clinton appears
wooden and distant on the campaign trail, lacking virtually all of her
husband’s vaunted charisma. She’s made it clear that she doesn’t trust the news
media, even though most of them are in the tank for her.
And a new scandal has erupted concerning the private email server she
used during her time as secretary of state. An investigation by the inspectors
general for the intelligence community and the State Department found that four
emails, from a sample of just 40 checked by inspectors, contained information
that was classified then and remains classified to this day.
That’s not what Clinton has been telling us, of course. In March, she
repeated her insistence that she “did not email any classified material to
anyone on my email. There is no classified material.”
But that was just another in a long string of Clinton whoppers. The two
inspectors general, I. Charles McCullough III and Steve Linick, said in a joint
statement: “This classified information should never have been transmitted via
an unclassified personal system.”

Government investigators say they have notified the Justice Department
about the potential compromise of classified information from Clinton’s server.
But don’t hold your breath waiting for Justice to file any charges.
The more we learn the worse things look for Clinton and the more voters
express their desire for somebody else — or, as Sanders’ growing popularity
makes clear, almost anybody else.
If you think things are getting hot now, just wait until October, when
Clinton is supposed to testify before a House select committee about the attack
on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that led to the deaths of four Americans,
including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. That’s when there will really be
some fireworks.
If the numbers ever look bad enough, do you think it’s possible the
super-ambitious lady will withdraw from the race? I wouldn’t rule it out.

Yes, you can resist government tyranny
There is government and there is us, and it seems that never the twain
shall meet.
Government makes laws out of thin air. But those laws are meaningless
without the consent of the people.
All too often people accept the laws even if they don’t like them,
especially if government tells us they are for our own good. More often than
not, laws passed “for our own good” are not good for us at all, but are good
for government. They increase government power or they enrich the system, but
they reduce our liberties.
Last week, I mentioned in “You are guilty!” that an unelected
bureaucrat working for the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) had
taken it upon himself to write a “law” ostensibly making it illegal to carry a
weapon in rest areas along Alabama’s highways and interstates. Signs then went
up at all Alabama rest areas proclaiming that carrying a weapon into the rest
area was unlawful and any “offender” would face fines and imprisonment.

ALDOT cites a provision
of the Alabama Code that gives the agency the power to “prescribe any reasonable rules
and regulations so as to prevent unnecessary trespassing upon or injury to any
of the public roads, bridges, or highways of the state upon which state money
may be expended or appropriated or upon any part of the right-of-way of any of
the public roads or highways in the state upon which state money may be
expended or appropriated.”
In their
own administrative rule, ALDOT created a regulation which reads, “No person
other than a duly authorized law enforcement officer shall enter any Alabama
Department of Transportation building with a firearm… without the written
permission of the Director.”
This ALDOT enactment seems to contradict
state law, which gives “the Legislature complete control over regulation and
policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in order to
ensure that such regulation and policy is applied uniformly throughout this
state to each person subject to the state’s jurisdiction and to ensure
protection of the right to keep and bear arms recognized by the Constitutions
of the State of Alabama and the United States.”
Suddenly a person exercising his 2nd Amendment right was
to become a criminal (or a “trespasser” under the “rules and regulations”) in
the eyes of ALDOT by passing an imaginary barrier established by a
pointy-headed cubicle dweller in the hallowed halls of ALDOT. The choices left
to the citizen were to disarm while traveling, ignore the law as arbitrary and
stupid and become subject to the criminal justice system, or relieve himself on
the side of the road and again become subject to the criminal justice system.
This “law” stood in conflict with an Alabama law recently passed that
reinforced Alabama as an open carry state and designated the areas in which it
is not legal to carry (the lunacy of this is a discussion for another day). But
rest areas were not included in the list established by the Legislature, and
Alabama law already stated that only the Legislature — and not government
agencies or counties or municipalities — can make laws regarding guns.
Despite widespread outcry by Alabamians and several gun rights groups,
ALDOT refused to back down on its edict and, in fact, passed the buck off to
Alabama’s feckless and likely corrupt attorney general. (I say “likely corrupt”
because an air of corruption surrounds his office’s handling of ethics charges
filed against the state’s Republican House majority leader.)
Attorney General Luther Strange, who campaigns as a conservative but
behaves as something much less, crawled into his shell — as he has done on all
gun-related issues before this one — and tried to ignore the issue altogether,
hoping it would blow over. It would not.
ALDOT, the attorney general’s office and the governor’s office were all
swamped with calls. There was even a growing groundswell movement of gun owners
pledging to go to all of the state’s rest areas carrying their weapons in an
act of civil disobedience. Prominent among those pledges was a
letter to ALDOT Director
John Cooper, shared by “Three Percenter,” journalist and smuggler Mike Vanderboegh on
his Sipsey Street Irregulars blog.
“[I]f you ignore the telephone blitz you are currently experiencing, it
will be my honor and my pleasure to lead ‘I Will Not Comply’ armed civil
disobedience actions numbering (at least) in the hundreds of participants at
every Alabama Welcome Center in the state, as well as in front of your
headquarters,” Vanderboegh told Cooper after outlining some of the actions he’s
led defying edicts in other states. “So, I hope you save us the trouble and
reverse this dangerous and deadly policy.”
On Friday, Alabama’s faux conservative, milquetoast, education union
tool-of-a-governor relented and ordered ALDOT to remove the signs. After all,
as he has so eloquently stated of late after he vetoed a budget that cut
spending and called the Legislature back into special session, he doesn’t need
distractions because he has “taxes to raise and work to do.”
The truth is that government is not used to people standing up to it
over its unjust laws. It counts on people mindlessly accepting whatever outrage
it foists upon them.
But remember, there are more of us than there are of them. They don’t
forget that. They just count on you forgetting.
And the laws passed by government bureaucrats and the elected class are
worthless and meaningless without their armed-enforcer class looking their
fellow citizens in the eyes while they abuse them enforcing those unjust laws.
That is why I hold the enforcer class in such contempt.

You know what, not a day that goes by, where I am not
appalled with what we have come to be as a nation- the once mighty superpower
we once were, to be no more, now, the laughing stock of many around the world,
especially our adversaries. Matter of fact, I am utterly repulsed and
unreservedly nauseated with all the headline news, op-eds, editorials,
soundbites and tabloids of banner stories which continue to proliferate our
airwaves, radio broadcasts and telecasts with serial threads of our nation’s
undeterred road to Armageddon; to mankind’s inevitable demise under the
ill-advised leadership of a black Muslim S.O.B., by the name of Barack Hussein
Obama. And…don’t anyone out there dare call the goddamn race card on me, as I
am sick and tired of defending all of you white apologists who elected this
ego-maniac to the office of the president, not once but twice - shame on you
all and damn you too.
For a moment there, I really thought I had seen it
all, from Obama’s overt swap of five high-ranking Islamic Taliban
fundamentalists for an alleged U.S. Army pot-head deserter, to the repulsive
trade of three Cuban spies earlier convicted for espionage and conspiracy to
commit murder acting as agents of a foreign government, unsuspectedly traded by
the Obama administration for one U.S. contractor and an unknown Cuban working
as American intelligence agent.
From Obama’s despicable photo-op on a golf cart at
Martha’s Vineyard, approximately eight minutes after pronouncing a highly
manicured tele-prompted mourning speech over the death of just beheaded
American James Foley, to the administration’s heinous abandonment of U.S.
Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, and three other American heroes,
defenselessly left to be brutally burned and murdered at the hands of radical
Islamic animals while attacking the American diplomatic compound at Benghazi,
Libya on September 11th, 2012, I thought I had seen it all. All the while as
our feeble-minded president perversely refuses to coin the terms ‘terrorists’
and ‘terrorism’, to describe this cadre of ruthless assassins.
Yes, you and I thought we had seen it all, but
actually, we had not. Far from it, actually. The president realizes albeit
while the rest of the American people go about their daily business, that time
is running out on his commitment to fundamentally transform the nation, or
shall we say, fundamentally destroy the nation? With no impending elections on the horizon and no,
more popular votes to worry about there are no deterrents, per se, are there?
The rat, it seems, feels unrestricted to complete the political mêlée that he
started seven years back. Why not?Americans, by and large seem not to care much about
what is going on, to the point where many gluttons for punishment are seriously
wanting more of the same, as demonstrated by some pre-election polls supporting
the Clinton witch in her race for the presidency on 2016. Shame on you all
again.
You know, as far as I am concerned, some of the
inherent traits concomitant to garrison states is the fact that their leaders
are invariably strong-arm dictators bonded by psychopathic disorders –
egomaniacal personalities with a delusional desire to be out-and-out in
absolute control of everything. A spot-on telltale sign on the makings of all
totalitarian states, historically, comes by way of their leaders’
uncompromising willingness to ignore the constitution and the rule-of-law of
the land, precariously challenging the status-quo and the establishment while
dauntingly imposing their autocratic diktats and tyrannical edicts upon the
peoples of the land amidst an aura of deception well embroidered in magnanimous
falsehoods of better-things-to-come. And…if this sounds all too familiar, it is
because it is. This is exactly what has taken place under the Obama reign of
so-called ‘change’.
Barack Obama has an unending list of daring ‘firsts’.
We are now the closest we have ever been to becoming a full-fledged
dictatorship. Notably, through the limitless powers inherent to presidential
Executive Orders, this president has sidestepped and bypassed the Congress of
the United States, almost at will. For the first time ever in the history of
the nation, Americans have been mandated to adopt laws, commensurately against
the peoples’ will. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act [ACA], a/k/a
Obamacare, is just one vibrant example of this man’s malicious imposition to
have it his way, regardless. Obamacare, more likely than not, will go down in
history as one of the most controversial pieces of legislation ever
-admittedly, one which many Congressmen and women did not even get a chance to
read in its entirety, while forcefully shoveling it down American’s throats.
Barack Obama, in fact, has ruled the once most
powerful nation in the world almost as a third-world banana-republic dictator
of sorts. Never has this nation seen the political corruption, cover-ups,
conspiracies, and political smoke screens as those now rampantly abundant in
this administration, almost to the point where breaking of the laws has become
the fashionable thing-to-do amongst many elite government officials. The
disappearance of key evidence in high-profile cases has become tantamount to
government officials skillfully evading criminal justice. Lois Terner’s
convenient disappearance of thousands of compromising emails in the IRS scandal
unfairly targeting special interest groups branded as political enemies of the
administration, along with Hillary Clinton’s controversial deletion of emails
from a privately used government server as a means of evading her potential
role in the Benghazi massacre, are but just two of the many scandals
appurtenant to this administration, which would probably make Nixon’s Watergate
impeachment of the 1970’s pale in comparison as to the roles played by these
two scoundrels – just to mention a few.
In the domestic arena, It is scary to realize that,
this bastard president has galvanized the nation, to where racial and class
divide have now reached all-time epidemic proportions, as noted in the Michael
Brown riots in Ferguson, Missouri, setting us back light years prior to all the
racial discrimination headways made during the Martin Luther King, Jr., era
back in the 1960’s. We live in angry times. We live in times, where Jim Steinle
and his daughter Kathryn can no longer stroll along Pier 14 in San Francisco,
California on a quiet Wednesday afternoon,
without the risk that 32 year-old Kathryn be shot to death by a five-time
convicted felon and illegal immigrant, all the while as Barack Obama, takes
pride in being the first president to release 40,000 illegal aliens with serious
and/or violent criminal records inside the U.S., and the first president to
order a secret amnesty program aimed at stopping the deportations of illegal
immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.
Day in and day out, Americans are getting used to
living in fear as to where and when will the next domestic terrorist attack
take place? Which theater? Which military base? While Obama may yet not have
come to terms with the realization that the terrorist jihadist threat posed by
ISIS is one now looming over our own domestic horizon, the infamous terrorist
organization continues with their all-out crusade to recruit enemy-combatants
from all walks of life, including, maybe even your friendly next door neighbor,
all the while as our insidious homeland defense strategists remain aloof
labeling the perpetrators merely as ‘lone-wolves’ – the latest neologism
adopted by this administration, not realizing perhaps, that the enemy is
already waging war at us within our boundaries – a war which was not over with
the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden, as many in this administration
would want us to believe.
While the domestic landscape seems to be filled with
all kinds of controversial issues, on the international front, the Obama administration
has really lowered the bar to yet unspeakable new lows. Since he first took the
office of the presidency, Obama has shown an uncanny passion for pandering with
the enemy as well as a craving for alienating our allies. The Muslim in him,
continues to rear its ugly head over and over again, thus, his being the first
president to send $200 million to a terrorist organization (Hamas) after
Congress had explicitly frozen the money for fear it would fund attacks against
civilians. Day in and day out, Obama’s doctrine of pacifism continues to be
tested by all who smell the man’s vulnerability to capitulate when confronted –
a realization, which has all but earned us the mockery of our most execrated
adversaries.
Just as I thought I had seen it all, when I first
heard, on December 17th, 2014, about Obama’s conspiracy with none other than
Pope Francis, the head of the largest Christian church in the world, of their
approving intent to thaw the 50 year plus frozen relationship between the U.S.
and the communist island of Cuba and its ruthless dictators, Fidel and Raul
Castro, followed by a most recent harmonious exchange of embassies of both
countries, just then and there, I realized this had to top one of Obamas’ most
disgraceful political ploys ever as the S.O.B., dared to shake the bloodied
hands of two of the world’s most renown assassins. But I was wrong. Boy,
was I wrong.
Just as soon as I thought, I had seen it all, just as
soon as I realized I had not - incredibly, as that may appear. Matter of fact,
all I had seen to now, seemed to pale next to Obama’s most pejorative act yet,
bar none, when I learned about our preposterous nuclear treaty with Iran - a
nuclear treaty with a country that on the day following the announcement of the
agreement, pompously showed crowds chanting “death to America”. Well done, Mr.
President. But then again, what could we all expect when negotiations for this
repugnant treaty were carried-out by this administration’s most flagrant idiot,
as is John Kerry.
Some of Obama’s ‘firsts’, far and few between, have been nothing short than a startling saga of frightening propositions, some of which have touched upon the unthinkable, nonetheless, Iran’s nuclear treaty, as far as I am concerned, tops it all – no close seconds whatsoever. The thought of allowing the proliferation of nuclear warfare by country like Iran, who will also now be able to unrestrictedly buy and sell arms in a world-wide marketplace, entrusted by a United States of America mournfully committed to sending zillions of dollars to the very same country that now chants “death to America” is unnervingly insulting to the intelligence; not to mention a frightening thought, which we all need to take very seriously as it is happening right before our very eyes, while we all do little or nothing about it, other than, perhaps, continue to politicize the issues, one right after another – politicize the issues to where we have allowed political-apathy now germane to most mainstream Americans, reach endemic proportions, giving our egocentric Muslim president a free-pass to lock stock and barrel a clear path to the destruction of mankind.

As I watch what is going on around us, I cannot help
but feel the threat that humanity is, sorry to say, well on its way to
Armageddon. To its inevitable demise, even as far as to suggest this obscure
Obama character, coming as close as I have ever seen anyone before him, embody
the legendary biblical Anti-Christ persona. And, if you, by any chance think I
may be embroidering such far-out presumption, think again. Obama’s Iran deal is
in a straight path to the destruction of the human race, as we know it. If you
are naïve enough to believe otherwise, feel free. You are, dear friends,
treading a fine line bordering between ingenuity and / or outright insanity.
For now, all we can do is pray to God, that somehow we can all save ourselves
from the demise by doing a complete turnaround in our political ways and
politics. One possible way to begin redeeming the model, would be not to vote
for Hillary Clinton, which would be nothing short of more than of the same,
albeit, who knows, maybe even our voting against Clinton, is yet too little and
too late to make-up for all the foretold fundamental transformation we have all
been subjected to under the administration of Barack Hussein Obama.
In closing, I just pray to God, that we all wake-up
from our lackadaisical detachment and fess-up to the crude reality that we
entrusted this Obama person to lead our nation and its people to the promise of
a better future. In its place, however, the man has shattered our hopes for
such greatness and has, instead, rudimentarily turned our nation into shambles
and the world into a treacherous war-prone place filled with hate. To wit, the
man responsible for all the clear and present dangers akin to the world we have
come to be just cannot be one of us. In all likelihood, instead, I say, he has
to be one of them. The proverbial realization of this unabridged aphorism, will
sooner than later, help us all gain a better understanding on much of what,
today, may make no sense at all. The Cuban pact, the Iran deal and all other
seemingly irrational policies will all begin to earn their own legitimacy, the
moment we all realize and accept that Barack Hussein Obama is a camouflaged
Muslim fundamentalist president. The moment you do accept
this basic truth, you will have spared yourselves from further questioning the
unthinkable ignominies, now prevalent in our lives. May God save us all and may
God bless America!
China vs. Human
Nature Stock market plummet prompts government action, but will it work? One
bubble that is ready to burst

Stocks around the world are down sharply, and many are
pointing to China as the primary culprit.
On Monday, U.S. investors woke
up to learn that the benchmark measure of the Chinese equity market, the
Shanghai Composite Index, had plunged 8.5%. That's the biggest one-day drop in
8 years.
To put this decline in perspective, that is like waking up one morning to find the Dow down some 1,500 points.
What makes matters worse is that there really was not
a pinpoint reason why Chinese stocks sold off sharply Monday.
And, perhaps even more inscrutable is that the decline
comes on the heels of the last two weeks of relative stability in Chinese
stocks.

To understand the big picture here, we need to rewind
the clock back to last year to see what caused the parabolic surge in Chinese
stocks, and their subsequent fall from grace.
First, late last year Chinese policymakers allowed
mainland China stocks to be increasingly owned by foreign investors via Hong
Kong brokerages.
That introduced a lot of liquidity into mainland
stocks. It also caused a flood of buying in China's so-called A-shares market.
From Jan. 2 to the
high on June 12,
the Deutsche X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares ETF (ASHR) was up more than 48%. Since that June 12 close, shares are down more than 28%.

So, what was the trigger in June that caused mainland
China stocks to start tumbling?
The short answer is margin calls.

The government's move to open up mainland shares to
more investors caused many Chinese investors to run to brokerage firms and open
accounts.
In fact, the number of individual investors is
estimated to have about doubled since the beginning of the year. That is
becauseChinese investors wanted in on
the "mainland casino."
After all, is it not just human nature to want to get
in on a great thing, and ride the wave higher?
The answer is obvious.
Unfortunately, for Chinese stocks, and for the rest of
the world, Chinese investors bought a lot of stocks on margin. In fact, as of
mid-June there was an estimated $358 billion in margin debt in China, by far a
record level.
On June 12, not coincidentally the all-time high in China markets,
new draft rules were posted on the website of the China Securities Regulatory
Commission that were designed to curb the amount of margin finance and
short-selling to no more than four times a brokerage's net capital.
This caused the calling in of margin debt by
brokerages — and that caused a flood of selling that sent traders running for
the exits.
Of course, it also caused Chinese stocks to plummet.

En política parece inevitable separar el
proceso electoral del efectivo ejercicio del poder. Los más pragmáticos
sostienen, con bastante evidencia a su favor, que es necesario concentrarse
primero en acceder al poder para luego recién soñar con la posibilidad de
cambiar la realidad.
Entusiasmados con esas consigas apelan, sin dudar, al "vale todo",
convirtiendo al medio en un fin. Así nacen las frecuentes concesiones que
derivan en el ocultamiento premeditado de las convicciones más profundas.
Para los que hacen política, esto no es realmente grave, ni siquiera es
demasiado cuestionable. Para ellos, esas son las inmutables reglas de juego
vigentes. Si alguien pretende conquistar el trono, deberá recorrer
irremediablemente ese sendero, por despiadado y cruel que parezca.
Alcanzar el poder implica someterse a la voluntad popular y a las demandas de
una sociedad que establece sus objetivos propios. Son muchos los ciudadanos que
entienden que la política debe resolver sus problemas, y pretenden que sus
dirigentes se ocupen del tema dándole total prioridad.
No importa si esos programas son justos, razonables o absolutamente inviables.
Lo relevante es que serán esos los criterios que definirán los perfiles de los
candidatos y sus predecibles alegatos de campaña.
La gente es escéptica y no confía en que la dinámica electoral encamine todo
adecuadamente. Pero también sabe, qué ante la falta de alternativas, este es el
modo menos ineficiente de influir con su opinión ciudadana.
Los políticos recitan discursos, casi siempre, diciendo lo que la gente quiere
escuchar. Contratan encuestas y dialogan con muchos, solo para diseñar un
relato que se ajuste afinadamente a los requerimientos de la comunidad, y les
permita lograr los votos suficientes para llegar al poder.
Por eso es que rara vez la política realmente lidera. En la inmensa mayoría de
los casos lo hace la sociedad, explicitando lo que pretende y es la política la
que finalmente promete soluciones a esas exigencias. Los dirigentes son solo
meros seguidores, instrumentadores circunstanciales de planteos que la sociedad
impone unilateralmente sin participación de la política.
En ese esquema, los políticos solo perfeccionan y mejoran las formas de husmear
en las prioridades de la gente, y en vez de "dirigir" el recorrido,
solo terminan siendo herramientas descartables de ese atroz proceso.
Tal vez por eso tampoco sean respetables los políticos. La gente sabe que ellos
mienten descaradamente, qué dicen solo lo que resulta útil y oportuno, para
luego, en el accionar cotidiano, hacer cualquier otra cosa.
Es un juego de una gran hipocresía. La sociedad reclama sobre opinables
asuntos, los políticos abandonan sus convicciones y dicen lo que la gente
espera. El resultado está a la vista y no merece consideraciones adicionales.
Hay mucho de patético en todo esto. Demasiadas actitudes inapropiadas, bastante
de cinismo y, sobre todo, una enorme dosis de inmoralidad. Parece difícil
interrumpir este círculo vicioso. Ante la ausencia de un sistema que sea
percibido como superador, solo resta esperar que aparezcan líderes con
mayúsculas, aunque no existen estímulos suficientes para que ello ocurra.
La llegada al ruedo de personas de honor, preparadas para compartir su visión
sin esperar una recompensa electoral en el corto plazo, parece solo una utopía
o, en el mejor de los casos, una ingenua expresión de deseos.
Si esos individuos estuvieran en la escena, ciertas ideas podrían prosperar, algunos
ciudadanos se cuestionarían sus verdades irrefutables y se aspiraría a que
empiece a modificarse lentamente el curso de los acontecimientos.
Lamentablemente, la política está repleta de ansiosos y voraces personajes que
solo piensan en términos de inmediatez. Ellos pretenden ocupar cargos pronto y
no tienen la paciencia que merece un genuino cambio de rumbo.
A menudo se pueden identificar personas que tienen principios y que podrían
administrar el porvenir, pero lo cierto es que frente a un proceso electoral
concreto, son muchos los que deciden dejar de lado sus elaborados argumentos
para terminar repitiendo lo que la mayoría reclama.
Inexorablemente deciden sucumbir frente a sus ansias de alcanzar la cima y
entonces todo vuelve al inicio. Así no se puede construir nada sensato y, menos
aún, pedirle a la gente que crea en la política y que participe.
Si el requisito para hacer política es mentir, ser hipócrita y estar dispuesto
a arrojar la honra al suelo para abandonar definitivamente las convicciones, no
es esperable que "los mejores" quieran ser parte de esta parodia.
Parece ser este el denominador común de todo proceso electoral. O el sistema
cambia algún día, vaya a saber gracias a qué extraño mecanismo difícil de
imaginar, o aparece mágicamente ese paciente héroe dispuesto a liderar la
interrupción de esta pérfida inercia, o se seguirá asistiendo a este
triste espectáculo en el que la campaña es solo una secuencia de falsos
discursos ajustados a las supuestas demandas de la sociedad.
Mientras tanto, esta pantomima se repetirá hasta el infinito y el montaje solo
mostrará, como hasta ahora, una gran farsa en la que un conjunto de dirigentes
políticos siguen dispuestos a claudicar para triunfar.
