Senator Ted Cruz Launches Constitutional Challenge
Against Spending Bill Over Immigration

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas)
late Friday formally challenged the constitutionality of the $1 trillion
spending bill, and launched a process that could force the Senate to vote on
whether the bill violates the Constitution because it allows President Barack
Obama to implement his executive action on immigration.
Cruz took to the floor
Friday evening, and said Obama’s immigration action violates the Constitution
and is closer to the act of a monarch than a president.
“The president has justified this illegal amnesty by saying he told Congress what he wanted, and Congress refused to give it to him,” Cruz said. “Well, Mr. President, the relationship in our constitutional republic between the president and the Congress is not the relationship between a parent and a child.”

“The president does not
get to demand of Congress, ‘here is the policy I want; either give me what I
want, or I will decree it to be so and ignore the law,’ ” he said. “That is the
president’s bargaining position.” After warning that Congress must stand its
ground and fight Obama’s action, Cruz made a point of order against the
spending bill by arguing it would allow Obama’s actions to stand.
“I am now offering and
raising a constitutional point of order against Division L of this bill on the
grounds that it violates the following provisions of the Constitution,” he
said. Division L of the bill limits funding for the Department of Homeland
Security until February 27, but it doesn’t go as far as many Republicans
wanted, as it does nothing to limit Obama’s immigration plan.
Cruz said his point of
order states that the bill violates the separation of powers provisions in the
Constitution, language enumerating the powers of Congress, and language that
says the president must faithfully execute the laws.
“It is incumbent on this body to resolve those constitutional questions, and to honor and protect the constitutional authority of the United States Congress,” he said.

Here are the
67 Republicans who voted against the $1.1 trillion spending bill passed by the
House of Representatives late Thursday night. Fifty-seven Democrats voted for the bill,

The U.S. Justice Department won't have any better chance getting an
indictment against former Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson than
did the St. Louis County prosecutor's office, says former New York Mayor
Rudolph Giuliani.

But Giuliani, appearing on "Fox News Sunday," said the Justice
Department would be working with no evidence that the Missouri grand jury
didn't have, so there is no need to expect a different result. Giuliani is also
a former federal prosecutor.
"This is the kind of case had it not … had the racial overtones and the national publicity where a prosecutor would have come to the conclusion that there's not enough evidence to present to the grand jury," Giuliani said. "It's an impossible case to present to a grand jury."
Giuliani has come under fire for saying last week on ""Meet the Press" that people should also be talking about the problem of black-on-black crime. He didn't back down on Sunday, but admitted that blacks do have a legitimate complaint that they are unfairly targeted by police and that there individual incidents that are unjustified.

officers, white and black, in the black community than in the white community.
And I think some of that responsibility is on the police department and on
police departments to train their officers better and to make their police
departments much more diversified," Giuliani said Sunday. "But I
think just as much, if not more, responsibility is on the black community to
reduce the reason why the police officers are assigned in such large numbers to
the black community."
Giuliani then returned to the crime statistics he cited last week on NBC's "Meet the Press."
"It’s because blacks commit murder eight times more per capita than any other group in our society. And when I assigned police officers with Commissioner Bratton and Commissioner Safir, we did it based on statistics. We didn’t do it based on race. If there were a lot of murders in a community, we put a lot of police officers there," he said.
"If I had put all my police officers on Park Avenue, and none in Harlem, thousands and thousands more blacks would have been killed during the eight years I was mayor."

He said he now favors body cameras on police officers, but is sticking
by his support of the "broken windows" and "stop-and-frisk"
policies that he says reduce crime. Stop-and-frisk can be abused, he admitted,
and should only be used when there is probable cause and not simply targeting
people based on race.

Vamos a suponer una situación
en que se descubre que los terroristas han colocado una bomba en New York, pero
no sabemos dónde, pero se sabe que explotará en las próximas 12 horas.
Se logra capturar a uno de los
terroristas que es parte de los que colocaron la bomba.
Pero no se puede torturar para
obtener información, porque eso es una conducta que agravia directamente la
esencia del ser humano, que afecta su dignidad como ninguna otra acción.
Es algo también son considerado
como delito de Lesa Humanidad.
Entonces simplemente le
preguntamos al terrorista, por favor, ¿nos puede dar información de donde está
la bomba? No sé por qué, pero me parece que no se podrá conseguir
información de esa manera.
Pero nuestro presidente ha
afirmado que tampoco por la tortura se puede obtener ni nunca se obtuvo
información.
Entonces ¿Qué hacemos? Apelamos
a su Humanidad, o Apretamos sus hue…sos, nos preocupamos por la esencia de este
ser humano o le sacamos la esencia de sus hue..sos.
Dios quiera que esta hipotética
situación no se presente, pero lo hipotético no quita la posibilidad, sobre
todo ahora que saben que si lo encarcelan, los soltarán y que nunca más lo
torturarán.
Si el castigo al crimen es
contrario a la dignidad del ser humano, no harían falta las cárceles, y el que
comete un crimen, siempre se ha considerado un enemigo público, sobre todo los
terroristas asesinos en masa, que al cometer el crimen renuncian a
sus derechos de respeto a su humanidad.
Hubo 3,000 muertos el 9-11,
hubo 3 torturados en Guantánamo, como van las cosas, creo que habrá tanta
publicidad sintiendo lástima por los 3 torturados como por las 3000 víctimas.
Y mi opinión y las de muchos
otros es que la situación hipotética de arriba, hubiera podido ser real si no
hubiera sido por la información que se obtuvo por los agravios a la esencia y a
la dignidad de esos 3 hijos de puta y que cualquier persona con sentido común
tiene que estar de acuerdo que es mejor apretarle los genitales a un hijo de
puta que dejar que mueran miles de americanos..

Lo que se ha dado por llamar
“cultura” de los grupos que componen la sociedad, es realmente los hábitos
sociales de esos grupos, los valores en que se fundaron esos hábitos con que
crecieron.
Y si analizamos cada grupo, ya
sean los blancos del sur o del norte, los negros, o los hispanos, vemos que hay
más similitud que diferencias en sus valores familiares.
Todos los grupos se fundan en
la familia y alguna creencia religiosa o moral que se funda en valores
judeo-cristianos, y el crisol de esos grupos, componen la sociedad americana

Pero llegó la política, el
socialismo, el liberalismo, con su lucha racial y de clases, separando a los
grupos y al mismo tiempo creando sub-culturas que hicieron perder la identidad
original de los grupos.
Sus hábitos sociales y su moral
tomaron una nueva dimensión, un nuevo rumbo, un nuevo concepto de la moral o
falta de ella. Se convirtieron en esclavos de los nuevos hábitos, a la vez que
desdeñaban los hábitos anteriores.
El Dr. Ben Carson, un negro que
creció en el gueto, de una madre soltera, pero que le supo educar en los
valores cristianos, no se cansa de explicar el fenómeno de la nueva esclavitud
basada en la dependencia del estado y la destrucción de la familia.

políticas del partido demócrata y del republicano, sobre los valores familiares,
el aborto, el matrimonio homosexual, el feminismo promiscuo enemigo de la
familia, la responsabilidad fiscal y personal, las filosofías económicas y
otros puntos que estaban contra mi pensamiento social y político, me dije a mí
misma, yo realmente soy republicana.”
Pero realmente no se trata de
un partido político, lo que Susana Martínez descubrió es que los hábitos
sociales en los que ella había crecido estaban siendo destruidos por las
políticas liberales.
En inmigración, Susana se
considera una defensora de la inmigración legal. La cual dice está siendo
perjudicada por la inmigración ilegal. “Terminen con el imán de la trata de
seres humanos, el fraude y el delito, Se deben asegurar las fronteras; negar
licencias y matrícula a inmigrantes ilegales”
.
Esto que descubrieron un negro
y una hispana, lo mismo puede y debe de haber sido descubierto por cualquier
persona de cualquier origen o color que se crió con los valores
judeo-cristianos tradicionales de esta nación y que ahora está expuesto a los
nuevos valores o falta de ellos..
No puedo o no quiero creer que
los que dicen representar a los negros y los hispanos con un protagonismo en
los programas y las noticias de los periódicos y la televisión, representan a
las familias instituidas de estos grupos. Ellos representan a la
nueva clase a los nuevos hábitos instituidos en esos grupos por los que Carson
adecuadamente llama “manipuladores” cuyo único interés es mantener cautivos los
votos de las minorías.
CHRISTMAS HEROES: Parents
Fighting Anti-Christian Agendas
How ironic that as children all across the nation prepares to
take part in various Christmas season events that they, in far too many cases,
will not be allowed to actually celebrate Christmas. But to be honest, it is
far more serious than just celebrating Christmas. Each day millions of students
are sent by their parents off to build a solid academic base as well as learn
about our American values in school. Those values and principles are built upon
Judeo-Christian beliefs. In 2013 there were over 400 biblical principle attacks
on children who wanted to read a Bible before or after school or even during
lunch break and were denied.
When your child returns from the Christmas holidays will he or
she still have to learn and embrace the teaching of Islam in the classroom, but
have the teaching of biblical history overruled? What happens when the topics
your child may be learning are ideals and values that marginalize how you have
raised them and articulate an agenda that compromises your family’s religious
beliefs? This is not something that can be overlooked simply because the child
is heading home for a Christmas break.
Actually this serves as the best time to discuss and share what
your beliefs are and reinforce the reasons why you will stand up for them when
your child returns to school in the New Year. Don’t accept the erroneous church
and state separation argument that liberal school officials try to jam down the
throat of Christian parents. Your child has U.S. Constitutional rights and they
must be protected.
In 2014, it has become an unfortunate circumstance in far too
many communities across America that conservatives and parents of faith find
themselves locked out of a parental support system like the school’s parents’
organization. Instead of assisting the parents by standing up for their
interests and the interests of their kids, the parent organizational members
give them cold to lukewarm support.
So it really is upon you. As a parent what are you willing to
sacrifice to stand up and protect your child from a school or a school district
that is willing to take away or marginalize your child’s values and principles
because it is convenient for them? Are you willing to tolerate unfair and
illegal treatment of your child? Are you willing to let the politically correct
values of liberal parents and secular anti-Christian organizations dominate
your life, principles and support of America’s biblical heritage?
America has a culture that rises up from the deep foundational
values that guided the founding fathers. We understand that it is America’s
heritage found in small towns, big cities and rural communities that give birth
to parental heroes whose actions become larger than life. These are the parents
that pray over their decisions at their kitchen table, or in the living room or
perhaps during the church service. As a responsible parent they take a stand on
principle rather than they should turn over their role and responsibility to
the offending teacher, principal, submitting to the will of a partial
anti-Christian school administrator or local school board member. They are not
like others who take the easy route and conveniently swallow their principles
and their values.
Be one of those parents who are not just heroes for their
children but are truly American Heroes with a capital H. Join and recruit
others in your school, neighborhood and church this Christmas season in the
nation’s Heartland.
Take a page from Samuel Adams, who was one of America’s
Revolutionary Heroes and a Founding Father. Adams’s father was a church deacon
and was deeply influenced by him. Adams spoke of lukewarm supporters saying,
If
ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than
the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your
counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your
chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our
countrymen.
Let liberty and your children and America’s future generations
be your guide and your prayer as you celebrate this Christmas season. There is
no tranquility in servitude to political correctness, so take off the
politically correct chains of convenience that are used to shackle your
children. Praise the birth of the Son of God and fight to protect your child
and their future in the New Year as their Hero!
Cruz, Lee Lead GOP Senate Attack on Spending Bill
First
it was objections by House Democrats that stood in the way of passage of a $1.1
trillion catchall spending bill. Now it's the Senate Republicans' turn,
specifically Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah.
The
two lawmakers demanded a vote Friday night on a proposal to cut funds from the
bill that could be used to implement President Barack Obama's new immigration
policy, ending any chance the measure could clear the Senate and be sent to the
White House with a minimum of fuss.
Officials
in both parties said the bill remains on track for clearance by early next
week. Even so, the move led Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., to abandon
plans to adjourn the Senate for the weekend, and raised the possibility of a
test vote on the spending bill shortly after midnight on Saturday.
Senate
Republican leaders have pledged to challenge Obama's immigration policy early
in the new year, after the GOP takes control of the Senate. But Cruz suggested
they shouldn't be entirely trusted to keep their pledge.
"We
will learn soon enough if those statements are genuine and sincere," he
said, in a clear reference to Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker
John Boehner.
Ironically,
Cruz and Lee played a major role in events slightly more than a year ago that
led to a partial government shutdown — an event McConnell, Boehner and most
Republicans have vowed to avoid repeating. This time, Republican officials said
they may have inadvertently given Reid an opening to win confirmation for
several of Obama's nominees that might otherwise have languished.
With
the end of the two-year Congress approaching, Reid is pressing to confirm about
20 Obama nominees to fill posts such as surgeon general, director of the Social
Security Administration and federal judgeships.
The
spending measure tops the remaining items on a quarrelsome Congress' agenda.
Others include renewing tax breaks for individuals and businesses and a
government program supporting the market for insurance against terrorist acts.
In one bit of progress, the Senate sent Obama a sweeping defense policy measure
by a big bipartisan vote.
Earlier
Friday, the controversial spending package won a personal endorsement from
Obama and was brought before the Senate.
Obama
acknowledged that the measure has "a bunch of provisions in this bill that
I really do not like," and said the bill flows from "the divided
government that the American people voted for."
Obama
has sided with old-school pragmatists in his party like Reid, but he's split
from leading liberals such as House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.,
and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. Warren blasted the measure in a Senate
speech for the third straight day, saying it was a payoff to Citigroup, whose
lobbyists helped write a provision that significantly weakens new regulations
on derivatives trading by Wall Street banks.
"Enough
is enough. Washington already works really well for the billionaires and the

Another
provision loathed by many Democrats — though backed by the Democratic National
Committee — raises the amount of money that wealthy donors may contribute to
political parties for national conventions, election recounts and headquarters
buildings.
Democrats
will lose control of the Senate in January because of heavy losses in midterm
elections last month and will go deeper into a House minority than at any time
in nearly 70 years.
Lawmakers
from both parties came to the floor to praise the underlying spending measure,
which provides funding to keep nearly the entire government operating through
the Sept. 30 end of the current budget year.
The
sole exception is the Department of Homeland Security, which is funded only
until Feb. 27. Republicans intend to try then to force the president to roll
back a new immigration policy that removes the threat of deportation from
millions of immigrants living in the country illegally.

Criticizing Romney for going “wobbly on amnesty,” Limbaugh posted his reaction on his website and in a YouTube video.
Limbaugh referred to an article on Breitbart, which said Romney recently told Spanish-language Univision that Obama’s executive action is “giving people false hope. He’s also communicating to people outside this country, ‘Hey, get into the United States illegally and stay, because they’ll always let you stay.'”

Romney said he hopes Republicans will still take up bills that boost border security, reform the visa system, and make applying for residency more transparent, according to Fusion.

Centrism Over Conservatism. By Luis Guzman.
Even though only Dr. Ben Carson has
officially declared his candidacy for president, prospective nominee Jeb Bush
has been getting most of the headlines lately. Topping several polls in recent
months when compared with potential primary challengers, Bush has already made
it clear that he believes the key to victory in 2016 is to be as moderate,
compromising, and “positive” as possible.
Speaking at the Wall Street Journal CEO
Council meeting on Monday, Bush said that whoever is nominated should “lose the
primary to win the general without violating your principles.” That statement
doesn’t seem to make any sense out of context, but Bush goes on to make it
clear that conservatism is not going to win the day in 2016. He expressed his
support for positions unlikely to garner a lot of excitement amongst the
conservative base. Bush is in favor of Common Core, of course, but he’s also in
favor of working more closely with Democrats on immigration. He said he opposed
Obama’s executive action, but he seems more concerned with a Republican Party
too divisive to govern.
“We have to actually show that we can, in an
adult-like way, we can govern, lead,” Bush said.
Bush makes some good points, but I question
whether conceding important matters of national policy to the Democrats is
really the kind of leadership we need. While I agree that Republicans have to
untie themselves from this endless cycle of reacting to the president, a GOP
president that would be indistinguishable from a Democrat doesn’t solve the
problem.
At least one of Bush’s most likely
competitors for the job sees things from a different perspective. Kentucky
Senator Rand Paul said Tuesday that the former Florida governor was suffering
under a misunderstanding of what the Republican Party was all about.
“We are a conservative party,” Rand said on
Fox News. “As a conservative, I can’t understand really even referring to
conservatives in the third person.”
Unleash the Power of Truth
Fact is,
we haven’t nominated a conservative candidate for president since at least
2004. Some might argue that we haven’t done it since 1984 – the last time, incidentally, that
the Republican victory was so overwhelming that it made the Democratic
candidate look like a joke. What if…we just tried it? You know, one more time
just for the hell of it. We rally behind one guy who has at least 8 out of 10
Reagan-like qualities. He doesn’t have to be perfect; he just needs to be free
of this moderate muck that Republicans are drowning in.
Americans respond to force and vigor,
especially when it’s backed up by facts and heart. This is the easiest thing to
do with conservatism, yet it seems almost impossible to find candidates able to
do it without making fools of themselves along the way. If a Bush or a Romney
winds up our 2016 frontrunner, that’s fine. We’ll do the best we can. But
wouldn’t it be nice this time around to be able to go to the polls in November
of 2016 and cast a vote out of hope and pride rather than fear and resignation? - See more at:

On Wednesday a glaring case of sharia
occurred in Tennessee. A police officer allowed a car full of Saudi Arabians to
drive away with a dead baby in the trunk so as not to be “disrespectful”
towards Muslims.
The vehicle, which had paper tags and a
registration violation, contained three Saudi Arabians with Saudi drivers licenses,
who told the officer that they had a dead child in the trunk, prepared for an
Islamic burial at a mosque in Franklin.
Millersville Police Chief David Hindman told
News 2 that the officer, “not wanting to be disrespectful to the men or their
faith, let the car drive away without checking the trunk to see if their story
was true.” The cop also failed to take the names of the Saudi men or any
information from their identification documents. It was also subsequently
confirmed that there isn’t even a mosque in Franklin.
Apparently, it was a family transporting a
dead baby, but the dereliction of duty and flouting of law enforcement norms
because they were Muslims is dangerous and shocking.

MILLERSVILLE,
Tenn. (WKRN) – A father stopped on Interstate 65 in Robertson County Wednesday
afternoon had a permit to transport the 15-week-old fetus he reported was in
the trunk of his car, Millersville Police Chief David Hindman said in a news
conference Thursday afternoon.
Hindman
said the mother miscarried at 15 weeks on December 7 at a hospital in Bowling
Green, Ky., and the parents were given the permit from the coroner’s office.
The father and two other men, all from Saudi Arabia, were transporting the baby
to a mosque in Williamson County for an Islamic burial ceremony when they were
stopped in Millersville.
A
language barrier prevented him from showing the officer the permit, Chief
Hindman said Thursday. “What they told the officer is their baby had died. They
had processed the body according to Muslim
faith,” he explained.
Hindman
said the officer, not wanting to interfere with a Muslim religious burial
ceremony, decided at that time not to cause a scene with the family in the
midst of their mourning, and to let the vehicle go on to bury their child.
While the
officer is five months new to the job, the chief says he stands by his
employee. “I stand by my officer and he will continue to be with us here at
Millersville police,” he said.
Chief
Hindeman called the incident very rare, but said he does plan to create a new
policy in order to deal with similar scenarios in the future.

Anchor Reveals Shocking Examples Of Media Covering For Obama. ...she has never revealed that

Journalists
of all stripes have long complained about the current administration’s lack of
openness in dealing with the media despite claims that it is the “most transparent” in history.
While
plenty of reporters lament their limited access to unbiased information,
however, Fox News correspondent Monica Crowley revealed that many of her
colleagues are more than happy using their influence to shill for Barack Obama.
Crowley
penned a recent editorial for the Washington Times in which she
recalled a conversation with one broadcast network reporter who revealed the
sycophantic inner workings of her newsroom.
The
unidentified woman described herself as a conservative, Crowley wrote, though
she explained that she has never revealed that information for fear of losing
her job. The veteran newswoman said that, while her industry has long leaned to
the left, reporters have taken an even more partisan tone in dealing with the
current White House.
“Every
morning,” she told Crowley, “we hold a meeting about how to build that
evening’s broadcast. We’ve been doing this for decades.”
Those
meeting have always had an “unspoken” liberal undertone, she noted; however,
the 2008 presidential election cycle showed a specific bias toward Obama.
“Once
Obama pulled ahead of Hillary and certainly once he became president, the bias
came out of the closet,” the source told Crowley. “Now, every morning when we
meet to discuss that night’s show, they literally say – out loud – ‘How do we
protect Barack Obama today?’”
This
anecdote is hardly the only evidence suggesting newsrooms actively work on
Obama’s behalf instead of fulfilling a commitment to impartiality. Crowley
shared a conversation with another fellow journalist, Fox Business’ Melilssa
Francis, who recalled a similar pressure to carry water for the administration.
When
Francis reported inaccuracies surrounding the math behind Obamacare during her
time at CNBC, she said executives raked her over the coals for “disrespecting
the office of the president.”
Former
CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson has also made news in recent months for her assertion that she was forced out of her job due in
large part to her criticism of the Obama administration.

Government
Debt Can Never Be Repaid. —
Government debt has grown so large that it is now mathematically impossible for
the government to pay it back.
Sports fans are familiar with the
calculations in which your team is “mathematically-eliminated” from any
possibility of making the playoffs (something Chicago Cubs fans typically
process in early summer, but… maybe it’ll take a little longer in 2015?).
So how should one react when it becomes
mathematically impossible for your entire nation to repay its debts?
There was an article this week saying around 20% of Americans state they will
not pay off their personal obligations before they die (quite a moral
proclamation!). Now Simon Black believes it’s time to realize the United States
as a whole will never make good on its gargantuan debt, and some form of
default is coming.
He writes in the Sovereign Man blog:
Over the subsequent decades there was a
sustained push to finally establish the country’s central bank that will
control money and credit, as well as institute a permanent income tax to feed
the expanding aspirations of government.
They succeeded in 1913 when the Federal
Reserve Act was passed and the 16th Amendment ratified, binding the country in
the shackles of central banking and taxation of income.
Over the century that followed, the US has
gone from being the biggest creditor in the world to its biggest debtor.
Decades of expanding government programs,
waste, endless and costly wars, etc. have racked up such an enormous pile of
debt that it has become almost impossible to pay it down.
A lot of folks don’t realize that, since the
end of World War II, the US government’s total tax revenue has been almost
constant at roughly 17% of GDP.
In other words, even though the actual tax
rates themselves rise and fall, the government’s ‘slice’ of the economic pie is
almost always the same—17%.
I’ve worked out a mathematical model which
shows that, even with absurd assumptions (7%+ GDP growth for years at a time,
low interest rates, etc.), it is simply not feasible for the US government to
‘grow’ its way out.
Default has become the only option. Socialist ideology has its
consequences. When the People give up all pretense of paying for their own
needs and desires, and seek Daddy State to make up the difference, you must
confess you live in a nation of thieves.
