Obama prometió al Presidente ruso que
después de las elecciones podría cabalgar junto con Putin, pero
lo que pasó es que ahora Putin está cabalgando con las riendas apretadas sobre
Obama.
En respuesta al referéndum de la secesión
absurda de Crimea, todo lo que hizo Obama es imponer sanciones personales
contra funcionarios rusos. Todo lo que harán las sanciones al Presidente ruso
Vladimir Putin es hacerle cosquillas en los testículos.
Todo esto es una broma, los individuos
sancionados en la lista no tienen ninguna propiedad conocida de Estados Unidos
para poderselas congelar, es un chiste de un payaso de un circo ripiera.
Putin tiene las riendas en sus manos, y
cabalga a Obama maravillosamente. Ahora tiene la confianza para continuar su
expansión internacional debido a que las sanciones son enteramente un show para
la galería. Ahora Putin puede anexar parte del vecino estado o
cualquier otro estado a su voluntad, el sistema le ha traído frutos,
así que por qué parar en Ucrania
Obama es tan patético que en realidad
preferiría volver a Carter y nunca soñé decir esto de un presidente de los
Estados Unidos después de la experiencia con Jimmy.
Obama ha convertido en un circo triste la casa
blanca, es un desastre tan grande que a los Estados
Unidos le pueden tomar años, si acaso es posible, para recuperarse.

Al Qaeda estaba huyendo antes de su
presidencia. Ahora, es resurgente en toda África del norte en Asia y en todo el
mundo.
Tanto Rusia como China y Corea están ampliando
sus esferas de influencia independientemente de las reclamaciones engoladas de
"Normas de derecho internacional" de Obama.
Irán continúa construyendo su capacidad
nuclear. La existencia de Israel se ve amenazada por la demanda de Obama que
negocie con los palestinos que han jurado repetidamente la intención de su
destrucción.
Nuestra frontera es todavía no ha

demanda residencia y ciudadanía para ellos.

In response to Russia's annexation of Crimea,
the Obama administration responded by levying sanctions. The spin machine has
been running nonstop at the White House, claiming these are "the
toughest sanctions against Russia since the Cold War."
But the Russians have responded with sustained laughter. The hapless Obama looked like a robot as he read, "We are imposing sanctions on specific individuals for undermining the sovereignty, territorial integrity and government of Ukraine." He sounded unconvinced as he scolded Putin, saying, "We are making it clear that there are consequences for their actions." The truth is that the sanctions are insignificant, and they'll have no economic impact whatsoever on Putin. But Obama's earlier decisions make it impossible for him to do more, and they show that the president is in fact more vulnerable than Putin. Meanwhile, conservatives aren't the only ones judging Obama's response as weak. The liberal Washington Post called the sanctions a "slap on the wrist." The problem is that they only sanction individuals, not institutions or the Russian government itself. On the other side of the aisle, FOX News commentator Charles Krauthammer depicted Obama's reaction as "humiliating." He rightly told his audience that the Russians were ridiculing Obama while the entire world watches. One of the targeted Russians, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, tweeted for all to read, "Comrade Obama, what should those who have neither accounts nor property abroad do? Have you not thought about it?"
A Policy of
Ineptitude
The real
tragedy is that Obama hasn't thought about it. He doesn't have a
plan.
The list of targeted individuals was all wrong. Several of the targeted people are actually Putin's opponents. As Chris Agee from the Western Center for Journalism reported, there's a real disconnect concerning the people targeted. Agee wrote: "Leonid Slutsky and Valentina Matviyenko both held positions of power in Russia until they fell out of favor with Putin. Furthermore, Andrey Klishas is reportedly feuding with a Putin ally. The final Russian official facing U.S. sanctions, Yelena Mizulina, likely made it on the list due to her anti-gay policy positions, rather than any connection to Ukraine policy." And that's not even the worst part. You see, the sanctions may actually hurt Americans, too, which proves my Obama theorem that "Obama only takes actions that hurt America." Sergey Glazyev, a Putin economic advisor, told the Voice of Russia radio that Russia would have to switch to other currencies to curb its dependence on the U.S. dollar, and sanctions could prevent Russia from repaying loans extended by American banks. "We have wonderful economic and trade relations with our Southern and Eastern partners," Glazyev emphasized. "We will find a way not just to eliminate our dependence on the U.S., but also profit from these sanctions... Indeed, sanctions are a double-edged weapon, and if the U.S. chooses to freeze our assets, then our equities and liabilities in dollars will also be frozen. This means that our banks and businesses will not return the loans to American partners." The U.S. dollar has remained the world's reserve currency because it's used to settle international commercial transactions, especially in the energy markets. But if Russia moves away from the dollar in the sale of commodities and oil, it could roil international markets. If carried out by Putin, these moves could possibly trigger a dollar collapse. Obama is economically dependent on foreign money to keep his spending binge going. At the same time, he's also slashed military spending and left us with little to back up his bellicose statements. PROBE OF SCUTTLED PENNSYLVANIA INVESTIGATION INTO
DEMOCRAT CORRUPTION DEMANDED. John Hayward
According
to a report at the Washington
Times, a
watchdog group called the Committee of Seventy is calling for an independent
counsel investigation of Democrat Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s decision
to shut down the prosecution of four Democrat legislators suspected of taking
bribes. The evidence in the case was quite strong, including tapes of
conversations that are difficult to portray as anything other than
politicians cheerfully accepting payoffs, while the reasons given for
abandoning these cases seem weak, or even false, to critics.
“The
public must be assured that a full and fair review has been conducted by
someone without any personal or political interest in the outcome,”
said Committee of Seventy President and CEO Zack Stalberg.
“There are also extremely disturbing allegations that demand an independent,
non-partisan investigation to determine if any laws were violated.”
Pennsylvania
Attorney General Kathleen Kane said she was shutting down the
three-year-old sting investigation because the case was poorly managed,
investigators didn’t rely on traditional police techniques and there was
evidence of racial targeting. All those accused of taking money are blacks
and members of the Democratic Party.
Eyebrows
have been raised because the reasons cited by Kane don’t stack up very well
against the mountain of evidence accumulated by the sting, which began in
2010 when the current Republican governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Corbett, was
the Attorney General. Last weekend, the Philadelphia
Inquirer published
a review of the evidence Kane is sweeping aside:
Those
who favored the sting believe Kane killed a solid investigation, led by
experienced prosecutor Frank G. Fina, that had ensnared several public
officials and had the potential to capture more. They said they were outraged
at Kane’s allegation that race had played a role in the case.
Before
Kane ended the investigation, sources familiar with the inquiry said,
prosecutors amassed 400 hours of audio and videotape that documented at least
four city Democrats taking payments in cash or money orders, and in one case
a $2,000 Tiffany bracelet.
Typically,
the payments made at any one time were relatively modest – ranging from $500
to $2,000 – but most of those involved accepted multiple payments, people
familiar with the investigation said. In some cases, the payments were
offered in exchange for votes or contracts, they said.
Sources
with knowledge of the sting said the investigation made financial pitches to
both Republicans and Democrats, but only Democrats accepted the payments.
The
investigation’s undercover operative was a little-known lobbyist, Tyron B.
Ali, 40, who agreed to wear a wire and tape the officials to win favorable
treatment after his arrest in a $430,000 fraud case, the newspaper has
learned.
In an
unusual move, the Attorney General’s Office then dropped the fraud charges
secretly, under seal, last fall.
At least one of the officials targeted
in the sting operation admits to accepting her “gift” from the lobbyist,
while others made denials that are rather difficult to square with the
evidence in the case:
People
with knowledge of the investigation said those caught on tape included former
Traffic Court Judge Thomasine Tynes, who acknowledged that Ali gave her the
bracelet.
Four
state lawmakers took money, the sources said. State Rep. Ronald G. Waters
accepted multiple payments totaling $7,650; State Rep. Vanessa Brown took
$4,000; State Rep. Michelle Brownlee received $3,500; and State Rep. Louise
Bishop took $1,500, said people with knowledge of the investigation.
Bishop
denied receiving money. Brownlee said she couldn’t recall taking a payment,
and Brown declined to discuss the matter.
The
conversations recorded on these tapes “were often blunt,” according to theInquirer’s sources.

In
May 2011, Ali went to Brown’s office and handed her an envelope with $2,000,
according to people who have reviewed a transcript of a tape Ali made on that
day.
As
Brown accepted the money, they said, she put it in her purse and said: “Yo,
good looking and Ooowee. . . . Thank you twice.”
After he gave Brown the money, Ali urged her to vote against a bill that would require voters
to show identification at the polls, the sources said.
Brown
voted against the measure – as did every other Democrat in the House.
The Inquirer relates
a lively tale of Kane’s decision to drop the investigation, which includes a
thumbs-down recommendation from a (Republican) D.A. who didn’t actually look
at the evidence, and a claim that the lead agent in the case told Kane he was
specifically ordered to ignore white politicians while targeting members of
the Legislative Black Caucus… a statement the agent, who is himself black,
says he never made.
The lead prosecutor on the case, who has an impressive record of pursuing
corruption charges against Republicans and Democrats alike, accused Attorney
General Kane of using a “desperate smear” of racism as an excuse to shut down
the investigation.
There’s a bit more to Kane’s side of the
story than dubious allegations of racial discrimination:
In
the view of Kane’s allies, she rightly shut down a flawed investigation – one
that federal prosecutors decided not to pursue as well. In a statement,
Kane’s office said federal law enforcement officials – it did not specify
from which agency – had pronounced the case “flawed and not prosecutable.”
Her
office also raised the issue of entrapment, saying the investigation had
targeted individuals without sufficient suspicion that they were predisposed
to corruption. And it said the sting often failed to explicitly link payments
to a quid pro quo of official action.
As a
consequence, the office said, the investigation was marred by a lack of
“quality control” that would have made the cases difficult to win in court.
“Is
the acceptance of cash alarming? Absolutely,” said one person close to Kane.
“But you’ve got to think: I’ve got to try this case.”
The fact that none of these cash payoffs
were reported – a clearly documented infraction that could carry jail time –
seems like something that would stand up pretty well in a trial. As for
the refusal of federal prosecutors to take the case – an offer made when
state prosecutors became convinced Kane had a conflict of interest – that’s
not exactly a shock to anyone who has been following this politicized Justice
Department over the past few years. It’s interesting that no one can
identify the federal officials involved, or get a clear explanation for why
they took a pass.
Committee
of Seventy president
Zack Stalberg said in his press release that there were few trustworthy
options for review besides an independent counsel: “Attorney General Kane is
compromised because she is the one who ended the sting operation.
Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams, who has condemned
Kane for making racial allegations against two of his employees who
spearheaded the investigation for the Attorney General’s office, now has
a conflict. And, frankly, given the rash of political corruption
cases involving state legislators, it would be hard for the public to have
confidence in a probe of its members by the state House Ethics
Committee.”
There’s
a lot more background to the investigation at the Inquirer, which
compares the saga to the famed Abscam case from the Seventies, dramatized in
the recent film “American Hustle.” Philadelphia
Magazine has a
look at the political fallout from the case, noting that Pennsylvania
Democrat leaders are already trying to soft-pedal the affair as a simple
matter of the officials under investigation forgetting to fill out some
paperwork after receiving their gifts, but also noting in Attorney General
Kane’s defense that she “traditionally hasn’t been shy about prosecuting
Democrats,” including some in very high places. It seems like everyone
would benefit from sorting the whole thing out with a fair, nonpartisan
inquiry.

La belleza de la mujer cubana hace que en el año

En 1940, Cuba se convierte en el primer país

En 1940, Cuba aprobó LA MAS AVANZADA DE TODAS LAS

En 1942, un cubano se convierte en el primer
Iberoamericano DIRECTOR MUSICAL de una productora cinematográfica mundial
y el PRIMER IBEROAMERICANO QUE RECIBIÓ NOMINACIONES AL PREMIO OSCAR. Su
nombre: Ernesto Lecuona.
La PRIMERA MUJER IBEROAMERICANA QUE CANTO EN LA
SCALA DE MILÁN (1946) fue la cubana Zoila Gálvez. La segunda fue
Marta Pérez en 1950.
El SEGUNDO PAÍS DEL MUNDO que emitió formalmente
TELEVISIÓN fue Cuba desde 1950. Las mayores estrellas de toda la
América, que no gozaban en sus países de tal adelanto, fueron a la Habana

difundir TELEVISIÓN A COLOR y posee el tercer canal de TV a color de
todo el mundo.
En 1958, Cuba es el país de Iberoamérica CON MAS
AUTOMÓVILES (160 mil, uno por cada 38 habitantes). El que más
electrodomésticos tenía. El país con más kilómetros de líneas férreas por
Km2. y el SEGUNDO en el número total de receptores de radio.
Durante todos los años cincuenta, Cuba tenía EL
SEGUNDO Y TERCER LUGAR EN ENTRADAS PER CÁPITA de Iberoamérica, superando a

Nos dicen que cuando una persona tiene un convencimiento firme y
determinado de su carácter y convicciones no importa lo que piensen de
él los demás.
No importa que te digan idiota si sabes que los idiotas son los que te
lo dicen, no importa si te dicen que tus ideas están equivocadas si tu
convicción es que estás en lo correcto.
Pero no importa que sepas que estás en lo correcto y que tienes la
razón, siempre duelen las críticas, sobre todo cuando la mayor parte de la
sociedad está en contra de tus ideas.
Los cubanos conservadores podemos testificar de esto, tanto en Cuba
como ahora en nuestra patria adoptiva.
El punto de esta descarga es que estaba leyendo la publicidad de un
nuevo libro de Kostya Kennedy sobre Pete Rose.
Creo que si una persona tiene que sentir el estado emocional del
rechazo inmerecido esa persona es Pete Rose.
Pete Rose fue un pelotero, un prototipo del deportista que
representaba todo lo bueno del beisbol. Aguerrido, luchando con sus escasos
talentos físicos, se convirtió en una estrella. Era agresivo y a veces grosero,
pero eso era parte de su compensación por tener tamaño inferior a los demás.
Entre sus defectos en la vida privada era que le gustaba
apostar en juegos al azar, y aunque nunca se le ha podido probar que apostara
en un juego en que participaba, la corrección política que es simplemente la
hipocresía llevada a la vida pública, lo suspendió y lo eliminó de ser elegido
al salón de la fama.
Pero vamos a pensar como la minoría criticada porque usa su
racionalismo. ¿Qué tiene que ver que Rose fuera aficionado al juego, si el
juego es tan malo, como los liberales permiten que tengan casas de juegos la
minoría étnica de los indios, perdón los nativo-americanos-?
No juego, pero es mi libre elección el no jugar, si me dijeran
que el cajero del banco que me recibe los depositas estaba anoche en los
Miccosukee, no voy a retirar mi dinero de ese banco por esto.
La elección de jugar de Rose era un defecto personal, una estupidez,
pero no disminuye su mérito como pelotero.
Es cuestión de razonar y explicar, no creo que un joven que admirara
las condiciones de pelotero de Rose, vaya a sucumbir al juego porque Rose
apostara..
Estos liberales mojigatos no tienen punto de referencia.
Ahora tienen una eyaculación mental cada vez que un deportista sale
del closet y se declara homosexual. Entonces debiera de tener yo el
derecho de que se castigue y suspenda al atleta homosexual porque mi hijo o
nieto puede sucumbir al homosexualismo.
También un atleta pudiera ser es infiel a su mujer,
conservador o liberal, o tiene su cuerpo lleno de tatuajes, no creo que mi hijo
hubiera sucumbido a esas cosas porque un atleta lo hiciera en su vida
privada. Si siguieramos estrictamente el concepto de corrección política
de los liberales aplicadas al deporte, no tendríamos deportes.
O te peinas o te haces papelillos, o mezclas la vida privada del
atleta con su habilidad como deportista o no lo haces, pero no puedes hacer una
cosa una vez y otra cuando te conviene.

Obamacare Taxes That
Will Crush The Middle Class

Get ready to be
blindsided by a barrage of new taxes. $1 trillion worth...
They'll be coming
courtesy of the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.
And they won't just
be affecting those who make over $250,000. The bulk of these taxes will be
passed on directly to the middle class.
That's because while
a majority of these "stealth taxes" were designed to be taxes on
businesses, they're actually transferred directly to ordinary citizens.

They include the
investment income surtax, a Medicare payroll tax, even a "tanning
tax" on those who utilize indoor tanning services.
"Many of those
[hidden] taxes, especially those on hospitals, insurers and medical device
manufacturers, will ultimately be passed on through higher health costs,"
said Michael Tanner an expert on the healthcare law.
In fact, analysts
estimate Obamacare will cost the average taxpayer nearly $6,000 in extra taxes
as early as next year.
Obamacare
Tax Hikes Stoke Outrage
Many of the Obamacare
taxes are already in effect, others will hit January 1. But they are already
infuriating millions of Americans.
While even Obamacare detractors
applaud the requirement that insurance companies cover pre-existing conditions
and put a stop to lifetime caps on benefits, they say these laudable benefits
don't compensate for the bills high cost - especially in new taxes.
According to most experts,
Obamacare will create a total of twenty new taxes or tax hikes on the American
people.
In fact, the Obama
administration has already given the IRS an extra $500 million to enforce the
rules and regulations of Obamacare.
The new taxes don't
bode well for millions of middle-class Americans. Incomes for the rich have
soared this decade but middle class workers have seen their wages stagnate and
even drop since the 2008 Great Recession.
Many fear Obamacare
with its high insurance costs and new taxes, could provide the middle class a
fatal blow.
Of
course, the Obamacare plan was primarily designed to decrease the number of
uninsured Americans and reduce healthcare costs.
Many
experts are saying it will have the exact opposite effect.
That's
just one of the reasons why Republicans hope to defund Obamacare before
January.
They
claim that the taxes and costs needed to pay for Obamacare will crush the
middle class and most U.S. taxpayers, as well as trigger job losses in affected
industries.
Tax
experts say you should try to estimate how much you will have to pay when the
law goes into full effect - and take precautions to limit the damage to your
bottom line.

One
expert, Dr. Betsy McCaughey, a constitutional scholar with a Ph.D. from
Columbia University, recently wrote a best-seller showing Americans how they
can not only survive Obamacare, but prosper through it.
McCaughey
claims to be one of the only people in the country - including members of
Congress - who has actually read the entire 2,572 page law.
Her
book, titled Beating Obamacare: Your Handbook for Surviving The New Health Care
Law, breaks the huge bill down into 168 pages of actionable advice.
The
book, written in an easy going, easy to read style, shows some startling facts
about Obamacare not seen in the mainstream press.
For
example, she points to a little known passage in the bill that shows how you
could get slapped with a $2,000 fine for not having health insurance - even if
you do actually have it.
She
also goes into detail explaining how a third of all U.S. employers could stop
offering health insurance to their workers.
In one
chapter, she shows how ordinary Americans will get stuck paying for substance
abuse coverage - even if they never touched a drink or drug in their life.
According
to McCaughey's research, senior citizens will get hit the hardest.
Hip and
knee replacements and cataract surgery will be especially hard to get from

Shocking Investigation: True Cost of Obamacare For The American Middle Class
OBAMACARE STICKER SHOCK: GET READY FOR YOUR JACKED-UP PREMIUMS TO
DOUBLE, OR EVEN TRIPLE. John Hayward
The
third of Barack Obama’s Big Lies, after “you can keep your plan” and “you can
keep your doctor,” was his promise that Americans would save quite a bit of
money on insurance under ObamaCare. In fact, he spoke of families saving
a cool $2500 a year. As with all socialist redistribution schemes, there
are some people doing better under the Affordable Care Act… but most of us are
not, and quite a few Americans are reeling from incredible premium hikes,
followed up by enormous deductibles and other out-of-pocket costs if they
actually try to use their
benefits.
And it’s
going to get worse. A lot worse.
You have scarcely begun to
pay for Obama’s folly, America.
The horror stories keep piling up, faster than Democrats can scream
they’re all a bunch of liars. A Nevada man lamed Larry Basich fought his
way into the bug storm on ObamaCare launch day, kept plugging away at the
garbage ObamaCare computer systems until November, finally managed to buy a
plan and pay his first premium, then suffered a heart attack, requiring triple
bypass surgery… at which point he discovered the “confused” state ObamaCare
exchange never actually assigned him to an insurance provider.
Four months
later, Basich is sitting on $407,000 in unpaid hospital bills. He “blames
his back-and-forth with the exchange in December at least in part for the
stress that caused his heart attack,” according to the Las
Vegas Review Journal. Everyone involved in the system claims they’re
working super-hard to get his bills taken care of, but thus far most of that
work has involved the exchange contractor and two different insurance providers
pointing fingers of blame at each other. The contractor actually took a
stab at blaming Mr. Basich for the whole mess because, like many other
Americans who made honest and persistent efforts to use the disastrous computer
systems ObamaCare foisted on us, he ended up generating multiple online
applications.
And of course, Basich’s senator is the sinister Harry Reid, famous for
loudly declaring that all ObamaCare horror stories are untrue. Reid
hasn’t been much help, although his staff made a big production of calling
Basich every day to work on a problem their boss claimed was pure fantasy from
the floor of the Senate. Punchline: Basich’s insurance broker estimates
at least 20 other customers have problems of similar magnitude, while only
about 5 percent of Nevada Health Link enrollments went through problem-free.
That’s going to leave a lot of people saddled with big bills, and the
attendant financial problems that come with crushing debts, plus the wasted
hours invested in clearing up problems that wouldn’t have existed without
ObamaCare. Someday we’ll see a solid estimate of the value of all the
hours Americans have burned off dealing with ObamaCare problems. It will
probably double the first year cost of the program. Of course, Big
Government politicians don’t think the time of private-sector Americans has any
real value.
Pastor Tony Angran of Iowa got a bad case of ObamaCare sticker shock to
go along with his diagnosis of esophageal cancer, discovering that his
“Affordable” Care Act plan would cost him $800 a month, plus $7000 worth of
copayments. He finds Obama’s health care plan lacking in compassion.
Maybe he’ll feel better if Harry Reid calls him a liar from the floor of
the Senate.
It’s too bad
we’ve already wasted so much time and effort on Obama’s Big Government
boondoggle, because that’s money and energy we could have put toward developing
real solutions to the problems with health insurance, circa 2008.
Instead, we have a whole new batch of problems, and a large number of
people who never did anything wrong – people who “worked hard and played by the
rules,” according to one of President Obama’s favorite phrases – have been made
to suffer unnecessarily. The money wasted on the federal and state
ObamaCare exchanges alone could have done a lot of good, if invested wisely
into actual medicine.
Health
industry officials say ObamaCare-related premiums will double in some parts of
the country, countering claims recently made by the administration.
The
expected rate hikes will be announced in the coming months amid an intense
election year, when control of the Senate is up for grabs. The sticker shock
would likely bolster the GOP’s prospects in November and hamper ObamaCare
insurance enrollment efforts in 2015.
Insurance
officials who listened to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius
chirp about premium increases slowing in
the coming year are scratching their heads in confusion:
“The
increases are far less significant than what they were prior to the Affordable
Care Act,” the secretary said in testimony before the House Ways and Means
Committee.
Her
comment baffled insurance officials, who said it runs counter to the industry’s
consensus about next year.
“It’s
pretty shortsighted because I think everybody knows that the way the exchange
has rolled out … is going to lead to higher costs,” said one senior insurance
executive who requested anonymity.
The insurance official, who hails from a populous swing state, said his
company expects to triple its rates next year on the
ObamaCare exchange.
Among the factors for these 2015 premium hikes are the nasty “risk pool”
equations stemming from the reluctance of young and healthy people to buy
ObamaCare policies, uncertainty created by President Obama’s incessant
tinkering with the law, new fees and regulatory costs… and the fact that “some
insurers initially underpriced their policies to begin with, expecting to raise
rates in the second year.”
Once again,
the American people are played for suckers by ObamaCare. But that’s been
the story all along, hasn’t it? Insurance experts quoted by The Hill think the
Administration is currently working to soften voters up for a big “backpedal”
on Obama’s false promises of lower insurance premiums. He knew he was
lying back then, just as he knew he was lying when he made all those false
promises about keeping your old plan and doctor. He knew even Democrat
control of Congress wouldn’t be enough to push ObamaCare through, if the
American people knew what it really held in store for them. The plan was
always to manage political fallout with strategic “backpedaling” later.
Alas, you
won’t be able to escape these premium hikes by going outside the ObamaCare
exchanges to buy insurance, as President Obama has taken to recommending when
he sees Democrat poll numbers droop. A recent
survey from
eHealthInsurance found people who buy policies outside the exchanges are
already paying 39 to 56 percent more than before ObamaCare came along.
There are families paying over $2600 a month in California.
Next year’s premium hikes will vary by state, which should make people
in certain states very nervous. It doesn’t make much sense to talk about
the average national impact of the Affordable Care Act when certain states are
teetering on the verge of total collapse. The “fix” will probably involve
bailouts, which will oblige the more solvent states to rescue the disaster
areas.
And speaking of taxes, since people well into the middle class receive
tax subsidies for buying ObamaCare insurance, these skyrocketing premiums
should have some interesting effects on the federal deficit in coming years, as
will the enormous expansion of Medicaid. Soon you’ll hear Democrats
angrily insisting that you must pay higher taxes to cover the unexpectedly high
cost of their botched health care scheme. There’s no question about whether
we’ve paid the last of ObamaCare’s financial costs. The big question is
whether Democrats will be finished paying the political cost after 2014.
