Me alegro que se haya muerto Chávez. “Muerto el perro se acabo la rabia y el perro también” y de paso las pulgas “Léase  Los esbirros” porque ya no pueden chupar mas sangre a un perro muerto.

Estoy viendo cierto miedo en decir que se alegran que se haya muerto Chávez.

No es de extrañar, las personas siempre tienen un respeto por miedo a la muerte, y ese miedo se refleja en no querer alegrarse de la muerte de otra persona, por miedo, porque Dios lo puede castigar y matarlo a él.

Pero como yo no creo eso, por lo único que me siento afligido es porque no se haya muerto antes.

En mi pueblo, en los cortejos fúnebres los acompañantes eran mixtos, unos iban a pie, otros en carros. Pero cuando llegaban a la línea del ferrocarril, allí despedían el duelo y los de a pie se quedaban y los carros se iban al cementerio.  Esa esquina donde despedían el duelo fue bautizada por el pueblo como "la esquina de los buenos", porque nunca hubo una despedida de duelo donde hablaran mal del muerto, por muy malo que hubiera sido durante su vida..

Esto es lo que pasa en el caso de Chávez, oigo  que dicen, "no, yo soy cristiano y no me puedo alegar de la muerte de otro". 

¿De dónde sacan esto?

Hastas lo que yo conozco es que en el antiguo testamento, el rey del linaje de donde salió Cristo, el rey David, comenzó su carrera hacia el reinado cuando mató al gigante Goliat. 

La Iglesias Católica, perseguida en el imperio Romano, se institucionalizó con la conversión del emperador Constantino, porque Dios hizo el milagro que venciera a sus enemigos en batalla. 

O sea que por la muerte de los enemigos de Constantino se fundó la Iglesia Católica Romana.

La enseñanza tradicional de la Iglesia ya sea Católica o Protestante, no excluye, supuesta la plena comprobación de la identidad y de la responsabilidad del culpable, el recurso a la pena de muerte, como el único camino posible para defender eficazmente del agresor injusto las vidas humanas.

Así que si alguien, durante su vida en este mundo, por su conducta, es un tirano y un agresor injusto  de otros, es correcto alegrarse que su vida en este mundo termine, y lo antes posible, lo mejor, para que no haga más daño.

Entonces que no me digan los Judíos, Católicos o Protestantes que no se pueden alegrar de la muerte de Chávez por sus creencias religiosas, y no tengo ni que hablar de los musulmanes cuyo poco respeto por la vida es notorio. 

Busquen otra excusa, pero no hablen de creencias religiosas.

For anyone who has done even a cursory study of Barack Obama’s life, they know that his radical Marxist views are not a recent phenomenon.
During his New York years, he was a frequent participant in the annual Socialist Scholars Conference held in Manhattan.
In the 1990s, he was affiliated with the Marxist New Party.
He called for an outright ban on guns in 1996.
Through the 1990s and 2000s, he funneled millions of dollars to socialist front groups like ACORN, via the Woods Fund and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. His buddy, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, helped stuff the money in the pockets of these “public welfare” groups, often taking money from wealthy donors who believed the funds were being used to further education or stamp out poverty. This was Barack Obama’s first foray into “spreading the wealth around.”
The dirty little secret about Marxists is that the moral outrage they have about the poor, about gun violence, about war, and even about the environment (so-called “global warming,” now rebranded as “climate change”) is that these are all simply tools to set up a totalitarian government. A so-called utopia where “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” is not determined by the individual, but according to an elite bureaucracy.
Except totalitarian governments don’t work very well unless you have a dependent and defenseless rabble. Obama has successfully created a welfare state, with food stamp and welfare rolls soaring.  And, with Obamacare, he will put virtually the entire citizenry on the public dole.
But creating a defenseless rabble is a little more difficult in America, with the majority of Americans holding the Second Amendment as sacred.
It was easy in Russia. In October 1918, the Communist government mandated that all of its citizens register their weapons. Then it conveniently confiscated all of these “registered” weapons. (It kind of sounds like Obama’s “common sense” call for universal background checks—really a Trojan horse for a national gun registry).
But this is all a conspiracy theory, right? America could never become like Communist Russia, could it?
In 2007 and 2008 when Obama researchers such as Stanley Kurtz and Trevor Loudon unearthed Obama’s extensive radical background and warned us from the highest mountaintops to beware, most of us handed these guys tinfoil hats, figuring that if a Marxist did get into office, we had a little document called the Constitution to keep him in check and/or impeach him.
Because of a dumbed down public and two weak RINO Republicans (first McCain, then Romney), Obama was able to garner enough votes to gain the presidency twice.
We’ve had a radical Marxist sitting in the Oval Office for over four years now.
But the Constitution was still there, including the Second Amendment and the separation of powers.
And the radical connections that were unearthed in 2007 and 2008 paled in comparison to what we learned in an almost month-by-month basis in the following years.

Except what if the Obama administration could disarm a large portion of the population—the so-called “progressives” who believe that guns are evil, and the dumbed down population who didn’t know any better?
And what if the only ones left who refused to give up their guns, who demanded that the Constitution be followed, and who demanded that the separation of powers doctrine be upheld (against Obama’s “I can’t wait for Congress to act!” meme)—what if the only ones left were conservatives?
And what if the Obama administration declared conservatives domestic terrorists, as they have basically done with a so-called “study,” Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States?: Those who are “reverent of individual liberty.” Those who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority.” Those who believe there is a “grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.”
And what if the Obama administration could outgun their conservative enemies?
The Obama administration has amassed a staggering amount of bullets (over two billion rounds), most of it the hollow point, armor piercing variety, enough to kill every American, man, woman, and child five times.
And what if the Obama administration successfully banned “assault weapons” but was able to keep assault weapons for themselves (as they have already done) calling the use of AR-15s “personal defense weapons”?
And what if the Obama administration could nullify the Second Amendment from the portion of the public that were the most extensively trained, who were traditionally the most conservative—that is, veterans?
The Obama administration has sent out thousands of letters to veterans with the following:
 A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, you may be fined, imprisoned, or both…
And what if the Obama administration was purchasing thousands of light armored tanks to be used against its own citizens? This, we learned over the weekend.
And what if the Obama administration ordered a fleet of “public safety” drones, able to pick up cell phone traffic, able to identify whether the target—that is, an American citizen—is armed or not with the ability to be easily outfitted with missiles?
This is something we discovered is not out of a dystopian novel but hatched by our own government, with a fleet of 30,000 drones expected by the end of Obama’s “third term.”
And what if there was a secret memo that gave the Obama administration the authority to kill any U.S. citizen at any time, anywhere, without proof, without due process, accountable to no one? Investigative journalist Michael Isikoff uncovered this last month.
So what if, unlike the Communists in Russia, the Obama administration wasn’t able to disarm its enemy—conservatives—but were able to easily outgun them, with hundreds of thousands of “personal defense weapons,” billions of rounds, tanks, and “public safety” drones?
Is a civil war coming between a totalitarian Obama administration and conservatives?
Is this some wild-eyed conspiracy theory?

APOCALIPSIS, PERO, LA REALIDAD ES UN PARAISO. Amenper.  

Estas palabras al principio son evidentemente una antítesis, o sea una yuxtaposición de dos palabras, de significado opuesto con el fin de enfatizar el contraste de ideas

Y es que el problema de la secuestración es y ha sido desde el principio una antítesis en el que la supuesta apocalipsis era una percepción retórica del presidente Obama sobre una idea falsa que no reflejaba la realidad de que realmente es mucho mejor para la nación el secuestrar los gastos que permitir el derrame del tesoro para la campaña política de los Demócratas para las elecciones del 2004. Aunque para el que lo quisiera ver esto estaba bien claro, ahora no hay manera de no poderlo ver, al no ser que se cierran los ojos a la realidad.

¿Donde están las catástrofes pronosticadas por Obama?

El congreso está listo para pasar un permiso que continúe límites para reducir el impacto del secuestro que permitiría un fondo de $984 billones por un período de 12 meses.  Esto era lo que estaba estipulado, esto es lo que se sabía que iba a pasar, no la apocalipsis.

O sea que no se acabó el mundo, todo sigue igual, pero el derrame está siendo contenido. Por eso era importante la secuestración, porque era como contestar el farol que nos estaba tirando Obama, y ponerlo al descubierto.

Si alguien no sabía, honestamente, que Obama es un mentiroso ya lo sabe.

Ahora viene la crisis del techo de la deuda, otro escenario para el espectáculo de los anuncios apocalípticos de Obama.  El punto principal que escapa a muchos es de que estamos en plena campaña política en que los demócratas están decididos a recuperar el congreso por todos los medios.  Cada acción de Obama, cada palabra de Obama, cada crisis forzada, está dirigida a desacreditar al partido Republicano y al congreso. Es una campaña política agresiva, tenemos a un presidente que tiene por objetivo una campaña de propaganda política, no la administración del país.

Lo lastimoso es que no vemos que hayan muchas personas que enfaticen esta realidad. Por eso estoy copiando abajo el editorial de hoy del Wall Street Journal que llaman "La estrategia Pelosi II", que es una de las pocas instancias en que vemos a un periodista hablando sobre esta situación.

The Washington Post reveals the real second-term priority.

• March 4, 2013, 7:24 p.m. ET Old Washington hands have been scratching their heads about the start of President Obama's second term, with its aggressive liberal priorities and attacks on Republicans. Whatever happened to governing? Well, the answer arrived this weekend as the Washington Post reported that Mr. Obama's real plan for the next two years is returning Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker in 2014..

"The goal is to flip the Republican-held House back to Democratic control, allowing Obama to push forward with a progressive agenda on gun control, immigration, climate change and the economy during his final two years in office, according to congressional Democrats, strategists and others familiar with Obama's thinking," reports the Post, which is hardly hostile to the President.

The article says that shortly after finishing his speech on Election Night last year, Mr. Obama called Mrs. Pelosi and Steve Israel, who runs the Democratic House re-election campaign, to discuss 2014. The strategy fits Mr. Obama's unprecedented new effort to raise $50 million in $500,000 chunks to fund Organizing for Action (OFA), which will spend millions in GOP-held districts. Mr. Israel says he met in January with Jim Messina, Mr. Obama's 2012 campaign manager who now runs OFA, to discuss the 2014 races.

White House press secretary Jay Carney pushed back against the article on Monday, saying 2014 is "not a focus" for Mr. Obama. But that looks like an attempt at damage control after the Post blew the White House's cover. Mr. Obama has to appear to want bipartisan deals even as he prepares the ground for blaming Republicans in 2014 when those efforts fail.

This is already clear on the budget, as Mr. Obama insists on a second tax increase that Republicans can't accept. We're also increasingly worried about White House sabotage on immigration reform, as it pushes the bill left on a guest-worker program and enforcement. Mr. Obama is doing exactly what you'd expect if he doesn't want a deal and plans to use the issue to drive minority turnout in 2014.

It's important to understand how extraordinary this is. Presidents typically try to secure major bipartisan deals in their fifth or sixth years, before their political capital ebbs. That's what Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan did, and George W. Bush tried on Social Security. Mr. Obama seems to think he can use the next two years mainly to set up a Pelosi House that would let him finish his last two years with a liberal bang.

The next time you hear Mr. Obama, House Democrats or one of their media acolytes talk about GOP "obstructionism," refer them to the Washington Post article that shows what they really intend for the current Congress. Bipartisan failure is their strategy

States' rights bills surge in GOP states

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- One bill would make it a felony to enforce the new federal health care law, punishable by up to five years in prison. Another prohibits a physician from asking a patient about firearms. Yet another is designed to curb the possible influence of the United Nations in local government.

While provocative bills aren't particularly unusual in state legislatures, so many have been offered by conservatives in Oklahoma this year that GOP leaders have established a special committee to handle what is now a major category of business: measures to combat the federal government's influence in the states.

"This gives a platform for what I think are issues that are concerning to a lot of Oklahomans, and that's this continual overreach of the federal government," said House Speaker T.W. Shannon.

Similar states' rights panels have been formed in Texas and Utah, which are also controlled by the GOP, and have been proposed in Alaska, Missouri and Tennessee.

President Barack Obama's re-election last year, while a victory for the Democrats, has made the anti-federal cause a growth industry in states dominated by conservative Republicans. When legislatures reconvened this year, a flood of bills came forth to block enforcement of federal laws, deny authority to federal agencies, and circumvent federal policies related to firearms, religion, the environment and, most of all, health care. Across the country, dozens of bills have been introduced to nullify federal firearms laws alone.

Even though many measures are legally questionable and may never come to a floor vote, the special committees are providing more public attention to sovereignty issues that were sidetracked in previous years.

In Oklahoma, "There's going to be healthy debate and discussion about what the limits of the federal government are and also about where state sovereignty begins," said Shannon. "I think that's a worthy discussion to have."

In marble halls normally bustling with suit-and-tie legislators and lobbyists, witnesses wearing camouflage, jeans and ball caps now file into committee rooms for sessions. Usually somnolent hearings are now sometimes raucous.

When the Oklahoma states' rights committee recently passed a bill that prohibits cities and counties from adopting any environmental recommendations in the United Nations' Agenda 21 plan, many of those in attendance burst into applause.

Some Democrats say they don't know whether to be alarmed or amused.

"Where is Jay Leno when you need him?" said Rep. Mike Shelton of Oklahoma City, one of 29 Democrats in the 101-member state House. "If I didn't know this was reality, I would think this committee was something out of a movie."

At a recent hearing, Democratic Rep. Kay Floyd, who was an administrative law judge before winning election to the Legislature, expressed concern that several bills the committee passed appeared to be unconstitutional. Republican Rep. Gus Blackwell, the author of a measure contravening part of the federal health care law, responded: "The Supreme Court may go on and make another decision. I don't care." His comment drew nods of approval from those in attendance.

The crowd of about two dozen spectators at one recent hearing included tea party members and other grassroots activists, some of whom took time away from work and traveled from towns around the state.

Don Spencer, a truck driver for an oil field supply company, hustled to the statehouse after work to hear the panel discuss amending the constitution to make gun possession easier.

Of the others in attendance, "you'll only see them at meetings dealing with constitutional issues," said Spencer, wearing jeans, a flannel shirt and an empty holster that shows he's not allowed to bring his handgun into the Capitol. "People are realizing they can't control the government creeping into their homes, and the more they learn, the scarier it gets."

Also on the committee agenda are measures barring local police from aiding the U.S. military in detaining Oklahoma citizens under the federal War Powers Resolution, prohibiting judges from considering foreign law, and amending the constitution to limit the Legislature's ability to regulate firearms.

Some critics dismiss the sessions as little more than political grandstanding for conservative voters in a state where Obama failed to carry a single county in either of his presidential races. They warn that any measures passed would only run up the state's legal bills in hopeless court challenges.

Under Supreme Court precedent, a state doesn't have the power to block the enforcement of federal law inside its borders, said Joseph Thai, a constitutional law professor at the University of Oklahoma who served as law clerk to Supreme Court Justices John Paul Stevens and Byron White.

Most such measures "do not merit serious comment — at least, not after the Civil War," Thai said.

But many conservatives insist the panel can help the state find ways to push back against the federal government.

Oklahoma's new Republican Attorney General Scott Pruitt has bolstered the cause by challenging the tax penalty provisions of the federal health care law, filing suit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and joining a multi-state challenge to the Dodd-Frank financial reform law.

"We're a country of citizens and not subjects," said Republican Rep. Lewis Moore, chairman of the committee. "It is our fault for not acting as citizens all the time."

Chavez Propped Up Cuba, 'Father' Figure Fidel Castro

From the moment Hugo Chavez assumed the presidency in Venezuela, he formed a very close bond with Cuban President Fidel Castro — one that boosted Cuba’s economy through trade, advanced its health care system and bolstered its military might.
"Venezuela is traveling towards the same sea as the Cuban people, a sea of happiness and of real social justice and peace," Chávez said during a visit to Havana in 1999, the same year he rose to power.
One of the first major ties between the two countries came in 2000, when the two presidents inked an agreement under which Venezuela sent 50,000 barrels of oil per day to Cuba at a heavy discount. The shipment was nearly doubled by 2005.
In exchange, Cuba sent thousands of specialists in the fields of education, the arts, sports and medicine to Venezuela.
In 2005, the two countries hammered out a contract to bring tens of thousands of health care workers, including doctors and nurses, to Venezuela and establish them in brand-new health care centers.
Chávez and Castro signed a declaration ripping the Free Trade Area of the Americas, a program supported by the United States as an "expression of a hunger to dominate the region."
Cuba also helped Venezuela free itself from U.S. influences on its military by helping train its soliders in guerrilla warfare and counterinsurgency.
In 2007, Chávez signed an agreement with Cuba to embark on a series of technical projects, including the construction of an underwater fiber optics cable.
Venezuelan and Cuban scientists also worked together to improve their countries' food production — spearheading a research project to improve the growing of rice.
Last summer, as The New York Times reported, Chavez announced an agreement with Cuba to create a factory to produce Coppelia ice cream, famous in Cuba for its tropical flavors.
Washington has kept a weary eye on the ongoing cooperation between Venezuela and Cuba with the idea they are trying to dominate the Caribbean economically and militarily. And both sides have fired verbal shots.
President George W. Bush’s Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice slammed Cuba as an “outpost of tyranny.’’ She labeled Chavez a “negative force’’ in Latin America.

he friendship between Venezuela and Cuba long predates Castro. Diplomatic ties between the two powers were first established in 1902. In 1913, they agreed to an extradition treaty.
The bond between the two men was often described as a father-son relationship — with Castro was seen as a father figure to Chavez.
"Fidel to me is a father, a comrade, a master of perfect strategy," Chavez said in 2005.

¿Por qué la Libre Economía de Mercado? Amenper.

Libre mercado es donde comprar y vender artículos y servicios se conduce sin restricciones en cuanto al valor y precio.  Los participantes dejan que las fuerzas del libre Mercado determinen los precios y valores de los artículos y los servicios que se ofrecen.

Las aperturas al libre mercado en China ha sido el concepto que a hecho posible el cambio de este país para convertirse en una potencia económica aunque mantiene una opresión política.

El país que mejor ha representado en la historia a la economía de mercado son los Estados Unidos de América. 

Solamente una vez en la historia de Estados Unidos, el precio de un producto ha sido regulado, cuando John F. Kennedy reguló el precio del acero como una emergencia nacional, y esto fue criticado por la prensa de la época. 

Esto es algo foráneo para los que procedemos de países de economía semi-libre como teníamos en Cuba, antes de la socialización total, y existe en muchos países de Latinoamérica  donde los precios y los negocios eran regulados por el gobierno y las operaciones comerciales eran sometidas a leyes que interferían con la libertad del mercado, como la sindicalización obligatoria y leyes que controlaban la libertad de las horas de operaciones, esto no representa la verdadera libre economía de mercado.

En la libre economía de mercado las horas y los días de cierre así como los precios, son determinados por la fuerza del libre mercado no por el gobierno.

En el libre mercado los vendedores y compradores reciben masivos beneficios como variedad de productos, flexibilidad, libertad y mejores precios.

Los vendedores tratan de vender al más bajo precio, sacrificando utilidad, para obtener más compradores y por ende más volumen.

El consumidor tiene la libertad de escoger el producto que compre ante la ventaja de tener una variedad donde seleccionar el mejor producto al mejor precio.

En el socialismo, la economía centralizada limita la variedad de productos, y como no hay competencia, los precios son fijos y se inflan por la burocracia que no está estimulada para la eficiencia comercial pero simplemente para obtener una mejor  posición en la escalera burocrática.

Economía de mercado implica libertad individual, donde cada persona puede dedicarse a la actividad individual que mejor le plazca.

Las personas se pueden dedicar a cualquier profesión y vender los artículos que consideren conveniente.

Todos los participantes de la economía de libre Mercado tienen la ventaja de entrar en el juego de la oferta y la demanda.

En países en que la  de la economía de Mercado sufre el excesivo escrutinio de los protocolos gubernamentales el libre juego se atrofia y se cae en fenómenos económicos como son la inflación y la escasez de ciertos productos de primera necesidad. 

Libre mercado implica que las compañías están libres para operar sin los obnoxios controles exhibidos por las economías socialistas,

La burocracia y los protocolos regulatorios del gobierno no aplican en la libre economía de mercado.

Aunque el gobierno puede y debe implementar ciertas guías y leyes para la forma en que los individuos y negocios conduzcan sus operaciones, los negocios están en completa libertad para escoger los que quieran hacer con respecto a las actividades y operaciones de estos negocios siempre que sean de una naturaleza legal.

Un país de libre mercado como los Estados Unidos, los controles son pragmáticos limitados a las compañías de servicio público (medios de comunicación, electricidad, agua etc.)

O en casos excepcionales que afecten a la libertad de mercado, como la ley Anti-monopolio, que se aplica cuando una compañía trata de controlar el mercado quitando la libertad a las otras empresas del mismo campo comercial.  Libertad de empresa y del empresario es el corazón de la economía de libre mercado.  

Cada país que ha implementado la libre economía de mercado, ha triunfado, cada país que ha implementado el socialismo ha fracasado. 

¿Qué es lo que no entiende el mundo?

“Sequester-Torn” TSA Signs $50 Million Contract For New Uniforms

The sequester is really hitting the TSA hard. The budget cuts are causing long lines at the airports. Janet Napolitano even exhorted people not to yell at the poor TSA agents. Bless their hearts, the sequester is not their fault:
 ”We are already seeing the effect on the ports of entry, the big airports for example. Some of them had very long lines this weekend. Look people, I don’t mean to scare, I mean to inform. If you’re traveling, get to the airport earlier than you otherwise would. There’s only so much we can do with personnel and please don’t yell at the customs officers, the TSA officers. They aren’t responsible for sequester.”
 And whose fault is it? If she says anyone other than those on her own blue team, then she’s lying. Obama’s their team captain, and this was his play all along.
Speaking of blue, the TSA’s so broke that they were only able to splurge $50 million on brand new uniforms. It was just as Napolitano was decrying sequestration and threatening to let a bunch of illegals go free that the TSA signed a $50 million contract with VF Imagewear that will extend through February 17^th, 2014.
So, at least the TSA’s move will create some jobs here, right, since VF Imagewear is an American company? Well, maybe, but maybe not. In a statement to CNS News, the TSA said that the uniforms will actually be manufactured in the U.S. and Mexico. So, at the taxpayers’ expense, money will likely be given to Mexico to manufacture thousands of new uniforms supposedly at a time when budget cuts threaten the viability of the TSA, DHS and the government in general.
I’m not going to call on the TSA to have their uniforms made exclusively in the USA. The TSA is a waste of money, like just about every other agency in the federal government. Where they manufacture their uniforms is moot. They need to be dismantled. Airport security should be returned to the airports. If the airports want to employ the same security theater, then that’s their prerogative. But, if given the freedom to run their own security, I bet many of them would start using more common sense approaches. Shutting down the TSA would be a “sequester” cut I would support.

Y ahora, para colmo de males, le están llamando un "BENEFICIO", como si no lo hubiéramos trabajado y ganado cada centavo.

El hecho es que ellos cogieron el dinero "PRESTADO" no pagaron intereses... ni LO PUEDEN DEVOLVER...Y ahora nos quieren decir que es una obra de caridad!

La verdad es otra...Nos hemos ganado nuestro derecho a la Seguridad Social y Medicare. 

Los que no se lo han ganando son las madres solteras... los vagos que nunca han trabajado, los ilegales que reciben ayuda... las ayudas a los programas de rehabilitación por drogas... que son a los que los politiqueros les han dado nuestro dinero...  y la AYUDA A PAÍSES EXTRANJEROS... que siempre siguen siendo nuestros enemigos...

  Entonces comencemos por llamarlo por lo que es: Nuestro Retiro por Ingreso del Trabajo.

La muerte de Hugo Chávez causo' gran conmoción a nivel internacional. Unos lo lloraron; otros celebraron su deceso. Quien iba a pensar que se iría primero que Fidel Castro?! La pregunta que todos nos hacemos ahora es si finalmente se resolverá el problema de Venezuela con la ausencia del líder bolivariano.
 
Chávez gozaba de gran simpatía entre los pobres venezolanos. Esto es algo muy común en los presidentes populistas como el, Fidel y Obama. A la gente más humilde les encantan los programas gratuitos de los gobiernos: medicina y educación sin costo alguno, bonos de alimentos, etc. Es muy fácil engañarles con falsas promesas y migajas debido a su bajo nivel cultural e ignorancia.
 
Ahora solo nos toca esperar para ver quién será el próximo mandatario venezolano. Dos de los nombres que más suenan son el chavista Nicolás Maduro y el opositor Henrique Capriles. Una vez más el pueblo tiene la oportunidad de seguir empecinados en construir la revolución bolivariana del siglo XXI o tomar un nuevo rumbo.
 
Que pasará con el barco de petróleo que Chávez enviaba diariamente a Cuba? Seguirán los profesionales cubanos brindando sus servicios al país sudamericano? Se les otorgará residencia permanente a los exiliados venezolanos ahora que Chávez ya no existe? Son muchas las interrogantes y pocas las respuestas, al menos, por ahora.
 
Se acabó el problema de Venezuela con la desaparición física de Hugo Chávez? Eso solo lo sabe Dios. Lo único que podemos hacer es esperar y desearles lo mejor a nuestros hermanos venezolanos. A Rabbi's Reasons Why Romney Lost. Ricardo Samitier.

Please take a moment to digest this provocative article by a Jewish Rabbi from Teaneck , N.J. It is far and away the most succinct and thoughtful explanation of how our nation is changing. The article appeared in The Israel National News, and is directed to Jewish readership. 70% of American Jews vote as Democrats. The Rabbi has some interesting comments in that regard.

 Rabbi Steven Pruzansky:

 The most charitable way of explaining the election results of 2012 is that Americans voted for the status quo - for the incumbent President and for a divided Congress. They must enjoy gridlock, partisanship, incompetence, economic stagnation and avoidance of responsibility. And fewer people voted.

 But as we awake from the nightmare, it is important to eschew the facile explanations for the Romney defeat that will prevail among the chattering classes. Romney did not lose because of the effects of Hurricane Sandy that devastated this area, nor did he lose because he ran a poor campaign, nor did he lose because the Republicans could have chosen better candidates, nor did he lose because Obama benefited from a slight uptick in the economy due to the business cycle.

Romney lost because he didn't get enough votes to win.

That might seem obvious, but not for the obvious reasons. Romney lost because the conservative virtues - the traditional American virtues - of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness - no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate.

 The simplest reason why Romney lost was because it is impossible to compete against free stuff.

 Every businessman knows this; that is why the "loss leader" or the giveaway is such a powerful marketing tool. Obama's America is one in which free stuff is given away: the adults among the 47,000,000 on food stamps clearly recognized for whom they should vote, and so they did, by the tens of millions; those who - courtesy of Obama - receive two full years of unemployment benefits (which, of course, both disincentivizes looking for work and also motivates people to work off the books while collecting their windfall) surely know for whom to vote. The lure of free stuff is irresistible.

 The defining moment of the whole campaign was the revelation of the secretly-recorded video in which Romney acknowledged the difficulty of winning an election in which "47% of the people" start off against him because they pay no taxes and just receive money - "free stuff" - from the government. Almost half of the population has no skin in the game - they don't care about high taxes, promoting business, or creating jobs, nor do they care that the money for their free stuff is being borrowed from their children and from the Chinese. They just want the free stuff that comes their way at someone else's expense. In the end, that 47% leaves very little margin for error for any Republican, and does not bode well for the future.

It is impossible to imagine a conservative candidate winning against such overwhelming odds. People do vote their pocketbooks. In essence, the people vote for a Congress who will not raise their taxes, and for a President who will give them free stuff, never mind who has to pay for it.

 That engenders the second reason why Romney lost: the inescapable conclusion that the electorate is ignorant and uninformed. Indeed, it does not pay to be an informed voter, because most other voters - the clear majority - are unintelligent and easily swayed by emotion and raw populism. That is the indelicate way of saying that too many people vote with their hearts and not their heads. That is why Obama did not have to produce a second term agenda, or even defend his first-term record. He needed only to portray Mitt Romney as a rapacious capitalist who throws elderly women over a cliff, when he is not just snatching away their cancer medication, while starving the poor and cutting taxes for the rich.

During his 1956 presidential campaign, a woman called out to Adlai Stevenson: "Senator, you have the vote of every thinking person!" Stevenson called back: "That's not enough, madam, we need a majority!"

 Truer words were never spoken.

 Obama could get away with saying that "Romney wants the rich to play by a different set of rules" - without ever defining what those different rules were; with saying that the "rich should pay their fair share" - without ever defining what a "fair share" is; with saying that Romney wants the poor, elderly and sick to "fend for themselves" - without even acknowledging that all these government programs are going bankrupt, their current insolvency only papered over by deficit spending.

 Similarly, Obama (or his surrogates) could hint to blacks that a Romney victory would lead them back into chains and proclaim to women that their abortions and birth control would be taken away. He could appeal to Hispanics that Romney would have them all arrested and shipped to Mexico and unabashedly state that he will not enforce the current immigration laws. He could espouse the furtherance of the incestuous relationship between governments and unions - in which politicians ply the unions with public money, in exchange for which the unions provide the politicians with votes, in exchange for which the politicians provide more money and the unions provide more votes, etc., even though the money is gone.

Obama also knows that the electorate has changed - that whites will soon be a minority in America (they're already a minority in California) and that the new immigrants to the US are primarily from the Third World and do not share the traditional American values that attracted immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a different world, and a different America . Obama is part of that different America , knows it, and knows how to tap into it.

 That is why he won.

 Obama also proved again that negative advertising works, invective sells, and harsh personal attacks succeed. That Romney never engaged in such diatribes points to his essential goodness as a person; his "negative ads" were simple facts, never personal abuse - facts about high unemployment, lower take-home pay, a loss of American power and prestige abroad, a lack of leadership, etc. As a politician, though, Romney failed because he did not embrace the devil's bargain of making unsustainable promises.

 It turned out that it was not possible for Romney and Ryan - people of substance, depth and ideas - to compete with the shallow populism and platitudes of their opponents. Obama mastered the politics of envy - of class warfare - never reaching out to Americans as such but to individual groups, and cobbling together a winning majority from these minority groups. If an Obama could not be defeated - with his record and his vision of America , in which free stuff seduces voters - it is hard to envision any change in the future. The road to Hillary Clinton in 2016 and to a European-socialist economy - those very economies that are collapsing today in Europe - is paved.

 For Jews, mostly assimilated anyway and staunch Democrats, the results demonstrate again that liberalism is their Torah. Almost 70% voted for a president widely perceived by Israelis and most committed Jews as hostile to Israel . They voted to secure Obama's future at America 's expense and at Israel 's expense - in effect, preferring Obama to Netanyahu by a wide margin. A dangerous time is ahead. Under present circumstances, it is inconceivable that the US will take any aggressive action against Iran and will more likely thwart any Israeli initiative. The US will preach the importance of negotiations up until the production of the first Iranian nuclear weapon - and then state that the world must learn to live with this new reality.

 But this election should be a wake-up call to Jews. There is no permanent empire, nor is there is an enduring haven for Jews anywhere in the exile. The American empire began to decline in 2007, and the deterioration has been exacerbated in the last five years. This election only hastens that decline. Society is permeated with sloth, greed, envy and materialistic excess. It has lost its moorings and its moral foundations.  The takers outnumber the givers, and that will only increase in years to come. The "Occupy" riots across this country in the last two years were mere dress rehearsals for what lies ahead - years of unrest sparked by the increasing discontent of the unsuccessful who want to seize the fruits and the bounty of the successful, and do not appreciate the slow pace of redistribution.

 If this election proves one thing, it is that the Old America is gone. And, sad for the world, it is not coming back.

Obama Shuts Down White House Tours Run By Volunteers, Blames Sequester

On Tuesday, the White House announced that it was canceling all public tours of the presidential residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue due to the sequester, the Washington Post reported.
“Due to staffing reductions resulting from sequestration, we regret to inform you that White House Tours will be canceled effective Saturday, March 9, 2013 until further notice. Unfortunately, we will not be able to reschedule affected tours,” the White House said.
When asked about the decision to cancel the tours, Obama simply smiled and waved, the Washington Times said.
But Mary Matalin told Sean Hannity Tuesday night that the tours are run by volunteers.

En el último año, el DHS ha comprado más de 1,6 mil millones de rondas de municiones. La voz de alarma ha sido dada, pero la Administración Obama arrullado al público a dormir con la excusa de que las balas eran necesarios para entrenamiento.  

Ahora ha salido a la luz que el DHS ha comprado 2.717 tanques ligeros. ¿Qué hace DHS necesita con 2.717 tanques ligeros? 

Estos tanques se modernicen los vehículos resistentes a las minas protegidas que fueron comprados por el DHS a través del Ejército de EE.UU. Comando de Fuerzas. Ellos se van a utilizar en las calles estadounidenses.  

¿Qué es exactamente el punto de estos tanques? El ejército de Estados Unidos ya está escudo de los Estados Unidos en contra de la invasión. La verdad podría ser escalofriante,  

¿Sin duda estos tanques han sido adquiridas para ser utilizadas contra ciudadanos americanos? 

Ellos saben que están ARRUINANDO EL PAÍS... para establecer la dictadura y están PREPARÁNDOSE PARA APLASTAR LA OPOSICIÓN...

BRAVO POR  “EL FIN DEL MUNDO” SEGÚN OBAMA Por Charles Krauthammer Traducción de Alfredo M. Cepero

Uno de los principales cabilderos entre aquellos que se oponen a la reducción del presupuesto federal le dijo al Washington Post: "Lo peor que podría pasar es que lasecuestración (reducción automática de gastos federales) se hiciera realidad sin que se produjeran consecuencias negativas".

Pensemos por un momento. ¿Lo peor que podría pasar? Que un gobierno ahogado en deudas redujera sus gastos en el 2.2 por ciento y el país fuera capaz de sobrevivir. Que un gobierno que pide prestados en estos momentos 35 centavos de cada dólar que gasta reduzca sus préstamos en dos centavos "sin que se produzcan consecuencias negativas". ¡Qué horror!

Un ciudadanos normal pensaría que esto es algo bueno. Sin embargo, para el liberalismo reaccionario, cualquier cantidad del gasto por encima de lo que gastan hoy los actuales gobiernos siempre inflacionarios (los cuales gastan el doble de lo que gastó Bill Clinton en su último año de gobierno) es el ideal Platónico. Para esta gente, cualquier reducción del gasto, por pequeña que sea, es una calamidad nacional. Eso no puede ocurrir porque, de lo contrario, la ciudadanía podría hacerse la idea de que somos capaces de sobrevivir con un gobierno pequeño.

Eso explica el mensaje del presidente hace unos días. Si la secuestración--reducción automática de gastos--entra en vigor los cielos se derrumbarán. Las viajes aéreos correrán peligro, las escuadras de portaviones serán ancladas y los maestros cesanteados.

La administración Obama tiene innumerables motivos para promover un derrumbe de los cielos a los efectos de evitar una calamidad que ellos consideran todavía mayor: que la nación sea capaz de sobrevivir una reducción de gastos. ¿Han amenazado ellos con reducir gastos para consultores, conferencias, viajes y otras boberías aún mayores? ¡De ninguna manera! Están amenazando con cesantear controladores aéreos, inspectores de alimentos y meteorólogos.

Un informe emitido en 2011 por la Oficina General de Presupuesto muestra con claridad los gastos que podrían ser consolidados y racionalizados en Washington: 44 programas duplicados de entrenamiento, 18 programas de asistencia nutricional, 82 programas de entrenamiento de maestros, 56 programas sobre educación financiera y más de 20 programas de desamparados. Costo total al año: entre 100,000 y 200,000 millones de dólares, entre dos y cinco veces la cantidad reducida por la secuestración.

¿Están estos incluidos en la lista de los programas que serán eliminados? De ninguna manera. Los primeros serán los bomberos. La misma frase acuñada en 1976 por el legendario Charlie Peters para describir la forma en que los funcionarios gubernamentales luchan contra las reducciones en el presupuesto. Atrévete a sugerir la mas mínima reducción en el presupuesto y el alcalde de la ciudad cierra la estación de bomberos. Usted puede reducir cualquier departamento del gobierno como la División de Vehículos de Motor y nadie se dará cuenta. Venda el camión de bomberos, la gente empieza a gritar y el consejo de la ciudad se olvida de cualquier reducción en el presupuesto.

Después de todo, la secuestración es la mitad del uno por ciento del Producto Interno Bruto. Equivale a 1.4 centavos de cada dólar gastado en asuntos domésticos, dos centavos de los gastos totales.

Como resultado de los aumentos de este año en el impuesto sobre salarios, millones de obreros norteamericanos han tenido que apretarse el cinturón por haber perdido exactamente 2 centavos en cada dólar de ingreso. No han tenido otra alternativa que arreglársela como puedan.

Pero los derrochadores de Washington, que gastan casi CUATRO MILLONES DE MILLONES ($3.8 trillones en inglés) todos los años, se niegan a hacer lo mismo que le han impuesto a los ciudadanos. De ser así, es mejor que se declaren en quiebra y nos ahorramos los honorarios de los abogados.

Desde luego, el problema con la secuestración es que las reducciones se producen en forma indiscriminada y no permiten que los fondos sean transferidos de una cuenta a otra. El procedimiento es estúpido porque no permite establecer diferencias.

Muy bien. Entonces cambien las leyes. Esa es la razón por la cual tenemos un Congreso. Estipulen las categorías. Establezcan las prioridades. Esa es la razón por la cual tenemos un presupuesto. El problema es que el Senado controlados por los demócratas no ha aprobado presupuesto alguno durante cuatro años. Y la Casa Blanca que, dicho sea de paso, fue la que propuso la secuestración en un principio no ha dado un paso en 18 meses para estipular prioridades.

Por otra parte, cuando los republicanos de la Cámara de Representantes aprobaron reducciones en los gastos de programas garantizados (entitlements) el Presidente amenazó con vetar el proyecto de ley. Para decirlo claro, Obama habría insistido en que la secuestración entrara en vigor--la misma secuestración que califico más tarde como el fin del mundo.

¡Por amor de Dios! La cantidad total de la secuestración habría reducido el déficit del año pasado de $1.33 MILLONES DE MILLONES (1.33 trillones en inglés) a $1.24 MILLONES DE MILLONES (1.24 trillones en inglés). La fracción de una fracción. Sin embargo, Obama insiste en que eso sería intolerable y continua con su ritornelo de "enfoque balanceado", que no es otra cosa que un segundo aumento de impuestos este mismo año.

Todo esto demuestra que Obama no está interesado en lo más mínimo en una reducción de gastos. Su objetivo es totalmente político: completar el triunfo que obtuvo en las últimas elecciones con la pulverización total del Partido Republicano en las elecciones de 2014.

En el debate sobre el precipicio fiscal, Obama derrotó y dividió al Partido Republicano con el tema de los impuestos. Con la secuestración se propone destruirlos en el campo de los gastos. Hará las reducciones lo más dolorosas posible para obligar a los republicanos a que vengan suplicando un enfoque balanceado, que no sería otra cosa que otro aumento de impuestos.

En los últimos dos años los republicanos lograron parar en seco la agenda izquierdista de Obama. Su objetivo es destruirlo ahora para tener el camino abierto en su plan de poner en vigor el estado izquierdista y benefactor que proclamó en el discurso de su última toma de posesión.

Pero él no puede ganar si la secuestración no trae consigo resultados que perjudiquen a la ciudadanía. De no ser así, luciría como tonto y vengativo por haber emitido una falsa alarma. Su incentivo deliberado de producir reducciones dolorosas y catastróficas es enorme y, en gran medida, alarmante. ¡Viva el fin del mundo según Obama!

In 2011, President Obama nominated an anti-gun activist lawyer for a federal judge position.
This woman believes that the courts should hold gun manufacturers liable for crimes committed with guns they made. This is judicial activism on a scale rarely seen.
It take 60 votes to stop a filibuster. Democrats could muster only 51 votes yesterday.
This is the second time she has had her appointment blocked. The first time was in December 2011. The Democrats could muster only 55 votes then.
She is falling behind.
This nomination was DOA in 2011.
People For the American Way is outraged, as we can see here. That’s politics, boys. Win some, lose some. They lost.
This defeat has so outraged Obama that he threw a public tantrum. We read this on the White House website.
Statement by the President on Republican Filibuster of Caitlin Halligan
I am deeply disappointed that despite support from a majority of the United States Senate, a minority of Senators continues to block the nomination of Caitlin Halligan to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Nearly two and a half years after being nominated, Ms. Halligan continues to wait for a simple up-or-down vote. In the past, filibusters of judicial nominations required “extraordinary circumstances,” and a Republican Senator who was part of this agreement articulated that only an ethics or qualification issue – not ideology – would qualify. Ms. Halligan has always practiced law with the highest ethical ideals, and her qualifications are beyond question. Furthermore, her career in public service and as a law enforcement lawyer, serving the citizens of New York, is well within the mainstream.
Today’s vote continues the Republican pattern of obstruction. My judicial nominees wait more than three times as long on the Senate floor to receive a vote than my predecessor’s nominees. The effects of this obstruction take the heaviest toll on the D.C. Circuit, considered the Nation’s second-highest court, which now has only seven active judges and four vacancies. Until last month, for more than forty years, the court has always had at least eight active judges and as many as twelve. A majority of the Senate agrees that Ms. Halligan is exactly the kind of person who should serve on this court, and I urge Senate Republicans to allow the Senate to express its will and to confirm Ms. Halligan without further delay.
Sorry, Mr. President, but it’s all over for this nominee. Her supporters cannot muster the votes. This means that you cannot muster the votes.

El chofer comienza a tejer el mito

2019. Se abre la tumba del ex-presidente Chávez para verificar las causas de su muerte?

**** Asesinaron los cubanos a Chávez para poner a Maduro en la silla? Lo que es igual no es trampa.

El chofer comenzó a tejer el mito cuando dijo que habría una investigación sobre la muerte de Hugo Chávez, ya que - segun él - el cáncer le habría sido “inoculado” por la CIA o algun otro agente tenebroso (no serían los cubanos, en combinación con Maduro? ). Esa acusación no es improvisada. Se había planificado con anticipación. Al momento saltó la mercenaria gringa, Eva Golinger, a decir lo mismo. Al mismo tiempo, una organización llamada Partnership for Civil Justice, tenía preparado en USA un documento sobre este asunto, casi antes de que anunciaran la muerte de Chávez, por lo cual no tengo dudas de que sabían de esa muerte antes de que lo supiéramos los venezolanos.

Maduro hizo su acusación durante su anuncio sobre la muerte del ex-presidente Chávez. Estaba friamente calculado. Nos recuerda la aseveración de Chávez sobre la muerte de Bolivar, cuando dijo que “había sido asesinado” y gastó un dineral de los venezolanos en tratar de comprobarlo. La señora Golinger, por su parte, dijo: “Hay información que desde los años 70 intentaban asesinar por ejemplo al presidente cubano en ese momento, Fidel Castro, con radiación además de otros métodos. Eso no es ningún secreto, todo eso ha sido revelado en miles de documentos desclasificados. Podemos imaginar ahora la capacidad de estas armas posee hoy en día Estados Unidos. Ha empleado diferentes armas biológicas contra sus adversarios…. Washington tiene alta capacidad científica y biológica. Ha habido también otros intentos de atentado contra la vida de Chávez en los últimos años. Muchos medios de comunicación, figuras políticas de Estados Unidos y sus aliados han intentado desfigurar esta información, manipularla y distorsionarla y hacer de quienes lo denuncian como si fuera una locura o como si se tratara de ciencia ficción. Sin embargo es una realidad, hay evidencias de que esta capacidad existe”.

En paralelo la organización arriba citada emitió un documento que ya estaba listo, diciendo lo siguiente:

Se teje, pues, el mito desde el dia uno de la muerte oficial del ex-presidente. Engrosa la larga lista de mitos de la pequeña historia: Gardel no murió en Medellín sino que le hicieron una cirugía plástica y vivió en Barranquilla por mucho tiempo después. Elvis Presley ha sido visto en San Francisco. Los estadounidenses no viajaron a la Luna sino que montaron un show en el desierto de Arizona. Las torres gemelas fueron destruídas por orden de Bush. Y como dice la canción: God never made little green apples, doesn’t rain in Indianapolis in the summer time…”.

El mayor problema no es la existencia de estos malandros tejedores de mitos sino la cantidad de gente que los cree. Y como decía un cantante, Facundo Cabral?, “el problema no es que haya tanto pendejos en el mundo sino que llegan hasta a elegir presidentes”.

Alí Moshiri: ética y estrategia en Venezuela

El pasado domingo 3 de marzo apareció en El Universal una entrevista hecha por el periodista Ernesto J. Tovar a Alí Moshiri, presidente de Chevron Africa-Latinoamérica. Es una entrevista que no puede considerarse como puramente técnica sino también como política, muy política. Fue, en mi criterio, desafortunada, no solamente desde el punto de vista ético sino hasta desde el punto de vista estratégico.

Fue éticamente frágil porque el Sr. Moshiri avanza una clara demostración de apoyo a un régimen que ha sido funesto para la industria petrolera venezolana y para la nación misma. Moshiri expresa orgullo por la estrecha relación que Chevron ha tenido con la PDVSA de Rafaél Ramírez, una empresa maltratada, muy poco profesional, a la cual la Chevron de Moshiri le inyectó el año pasado dos mil millones de dólares, con el propósito declarado de estimular la producción del campo de petróleo pesado Boscán. En la entrevista Moshiri rehusa dar detalles sobre la utilización que se ha hecho de ese dinero por parte del régimen, alimentando así especulaciones sobre lo que podía ser un destino poco ortodoxo. Moshiri también se exhibe orgulloso de su estrecha relación con el Ejecutivo Nacional, declaración que va más allá de los límites comerciales para validar un régimen autoritario y anti-democrático que ha sido nefasto para el país.

En momentos en los cuales las empresas extranjeras en la Faja del Orinoco exhiben mucha cautela para invertir, dado el ambiente político negativo existente en el país, Moshiri se muestra optimista, “bullish”, dispuesto a “ampliar las inversiones en PetroPiar” y hace énfasis sobre como Chevron y PDVSA “se ayudan mutuamente”, sugiriendo una relación casi simbiótica que no vacilo en definir como peligrosa para Chevron, no así para la PDVSA de Ramírez, la cual necesita todo el dinero y ayuda que pueda obtener, al precio que sea.

Moshiri no puede evitar hablar de la situación de Chevron en Ecuador, donde una conspiración de abogados estadounidenses y ecuatorianos, ayudados por falsos expertos ecuatorianos, por jueces corruptos y por miembros del equipo de gobierno de Rafaél Correa con el concurso del presidente mismo, pretenden extorsionar a la empresa para quitarle unos 19000 millones de dólares. Moshiri se refiere a esta situación como causada solamente por un grupo de abogados estadounidenses en contra del país, cuando esa no es la verdadera historia. Peor aun, Moshiri habla de buscar la intervención del ALBA y de UNASUR para resolver ese problema, organismos claramente politizados y al servicio de una ideología anti-empresa. Esto parecería estrategicamente indeseable pues valida un papel de árbitro para organismos que no están orientados hacia lo comercial sino hacia lo político.

La entrevista con el Sr. Moshiri tuvo lugar apenas unos cuatro días antes de que se informara oficialmente la muerte de Hugo Chávez en Caracas (aunque probablemente no murió en esa oportunidad ni en Caracas). Ello acentuará aun más la incertidumbre del clima político y económico en Venezuela y acentúa la naturaleza extemporánea de sus declaraciones.

En mi opinión, El Sr.Moshiri metió la pata. Creo que ha olvidado su tarea de mantener su empresa a salvo de los vaivenes políticos en los países donde tiene actividad, alineándose políticamente y “acostando” a Chevron, en Venezuela, con una PDVSA profundamente desacreditada.

Paradojicamente, la corporación ha dado una gran batalla ética ante la justicia internacional para exponer el fraude del cual es víctima en Ecuador. Tendríamos que pedirle a la verdadera Chevron ponerse de pie. O, puede una corporación de inmenso tamaño permitir que coexistan actitudes tan diversas en su seno?
