Hoy es el dia de LA VIRGEN DE LA CARIDAD. AGOSTO 8, 2011 "En mi opinion"2

HOY CELEBRAMOS

Another Disappointing Jobs Report
The Solution is Simple: America Free Enterprise

Mr. Lazaro R Gonzalez Mino, “En mi opinion”

Dear Friend,

Another month.  Another disappointing jobs report.

The economy added only 96,000 jobs in August — far fewer than the 125,000 expected.

And while a drop from 8.3% to 8.1% seems encouraging, it in fact shows a discouraging trend we’ve seen in recent months.

The reason for the drop in the unemployment rate is because the size of the American workforce has shrunk by about 368,000 people, bringing the American workforce participation down from 63.7% to 63.5%, the lowest since 1981.

How does that happen?  Sadly, many people have become discouraged in their efforts to find employment and have  simply stopped looking for work.

There is an answer to this problem that can turn our economy around: American free enterprise.

This November is shaping up to be one of the most consequential elections in American history.

We need to put Americans back to work by creating conditions that encourage growth and investment, and above all, create jobs.

You can make a difference.  Click here to join our landmark voter education program. Find out how your elected officials have voted on issues that advance free enterprise, and get involved to be a part of our efforts.

This November is an opportunity to put America back on a path towards prosperity.  It’s an opportunity to vote for jobs.

I hope you’ll join us.

Sincerely,

Rob Engstrom

New Executive Order by the President.....‏ Enviado por Silvia Carteye.

THIS IS IMPORTANT - OPEN & READ THE ENCLOSED!!!!

However, the jobless rate fell to 8.1 percent, from 8.3 percent in July, an indication that more unemployed workers were discouraged about the propsects of finding new jobs.

Congressman Confirms High-level U.S.-Israel Spat over Iran Thursday, 06 Sep 2012 07:51 PM

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blew up at the U.S. ambassador last month because he was "at wit's end" over what he sees as the Obama administration's lack of clarity on Iran's nuclear program, a U.S. congressman who was at the meeting said.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, a Republican, made his first public comments about the late August meeting in Israel in an interview with Michigan's WJR radio on Tuesday.
His disclosure comes only hours before President Barack Obama will at the Democratic National Convention to accept the party's nomination as its candidate in the November election, in which the level of the Obama administration's support for Israel has become a contentious topic.

"Right now the Israelis don't believe that this administration is serious when they say all options are on the table, and more importantly neither do the Iranians. That's why the program is progressing," Rogers said.

Iran says its nuclear program is for peaceful energy purposes.
Israel is facing growing international pressure not to unilaterally attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure and the United States has made clear it opposes any such strike.
Rogers said if the United States does not show Israel more clarity on where it draws "red lines" on Iran's nuclear program, then Israel might conduct a strike.
"If I were betting my house today, I would guess that they probably will do it if we don't have a change in more clear red lines from the United States," he said.
The State Department had no immediate comment. A spokesman for Israel's embassy in Washington declined to comment.
The spat between Netanyahu and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro appears to confirm a deep chasm over how to deal with Iran, which the two allies have tried to play down publicly.
Obama has vowed to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, but says there is still time for sanctions and diplomacy to work. The White House says it has brokered international oil and banking sanctions that are far tougher on Iran than previous administrations achieved.
The original purpose of the meeting was for Netanyahu and Rogers to discuss intelligence cooperation and other matters. But it "devolved" into a sharp exchange in which Netanyahu confronted Shapiro with a lot of frustration about the lack of clarity on the administration's position on Iran's nuclear program, Rogers said.
"The uncertainty about where the United States' position is on those questions has created lots of problems and anxiety that I think doesn't serve the world well and doesn't serve peace well," Rogers said.
In an interview with an Israeli television station on Sunday, Shapiro dismissed an Israeli newspaper account of the heated closed-door exchange as "a very silly story" that did not reflect what actually happened in the meeting where the conversations were "friendly and professional." Netanyahu has not commented on the exchange, which was first reported by the daily newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.
Israel has its own undeclared nuclear arsenal that is believed to contain as many as 200 warheads.

Rogers said the Israeli and U.S. timelines differed on how quickly Iran could put a nuclear weapon on a missile, if it decided to move in that direction.
Netanyahu believes "if they decide to do the dash it could be four weeks to eight weeks," while U.S. intelligence analysts believe it would "take a little longer than that," Rogers said. "But the problem is nobody really knows for sure."
Payrolls in U.S. Rose 96,000 in August, Jobless Rate Falls. Enviado por Jorge A. Villalon.
2012-09-07 12:30:00.677 GMT  By Shobhana Chandra
Sept. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Payrolls rose less than projected in August and the unemployment rate declined as more Americans left the labor force, indicating the U.S. labor market is stagnating.
The economy added 96,000 workers last month following a revised 141,000 rise in July that was smaller than initially estimated, Labor Department figures showed today in Washington.
The median estimate of 92 economists surveyed by Bloomberg called for a gain of 130,000. Unemployment unexpectedly fell to
8.1 percent, and hourly earnings were unchanged.
Employers may be reluctant to expand headcounts as they face a global economic slowdown and the so-called fiscal cliff of automatic tax increases and government spending cuts. The damage inflicted by the lack of progress on jobs is the reason Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke last week said the central bank may need to do more.
“Businesses are trying to plan for a climate of uncertainty,” Robert Dye, chief economist at Comerica Inc. in Dallas, said before the report. “There’s too much uncertainty about taxes, about expenditure cuts. The economy is already reacting to it.”
Bloomberg survey estimates ranged from increases of 70,000 to 185,000. Revisions to prior reports subtracted a total of
41,000 jobs to payrolls in the previous two months.
Factory employment fell by the most in two years, temporary-help companies eliminated positions for the first time in five months and the share of the working-age population in the labor force slumped to the lowest since 1981.

                     Presidential Election

Today’s figures come two months before the presidential election. Employment and the economy are central themes in the campaign, with President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney each trying to convince voters they can best energize the expansion and create jobs.
Private payrolls, which exclude government agencies, rose
103,000 after a revised gain of 162,000. They were projected to rise by 142,000, the survey showed.
The jobless rate fell from 8.3 percent as 368,000 Americans left the labor force. Unemployment was forecast to hold at 8.3 percent, according to the survey median. Estimates in the Bloomberg survey ranged from 8.1 percent to 8.4 percent.
Factory payrolls decreased by 15,000, compared with a survey forecast for a 10,000 increase, after a 23,000 gain in the previous month. Automakers cut 7,500 jobs last month.

                          Factory Jobs

The figures reflected the reversal of a July increase that was propelled by fewer shutdowns at automakers for annual retooling related to the new model year. Still, carmakers may continue to add workers. Chrysler Group LLC, Ford Motor Co., General Motors Co., Toyota Motor Corp. and Honda Motor Co.
reported U.S. auto sales in August that rose more than analysts estimated as new models attracted buyers.
     Employment at service-providers increased 119,000.
Construction companies added 1,000 workers and retailers took on
6,100 employees. Government payrolls decreased by 7,000.     The
number of temporary workers decreased almost 5,000.
Average hourly earnings were little changed, and up 1.7 percent from August 2011, today’s report showed.
The participation rate, which indicates the share of working-age people in the labor force, fell to 63.5 percent, the lowest since September 1981, from 63.7 percent.

                    Search ‘Disheartening’

For Kimberly Hackler of White, Georgia, the job search has been “frustrating at best, a little disheartening.” The 49- year-old has been looking for work since November, applying for about 190 positions.
“I’m very concerned about those of us who are unemployed and where are we going to find stable employment,” Hackler said. “I don’t see the economy improving anytime soon. I am concerned it could get worse.”
American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc., a maker of axles and crankshafts, is among companies looking to expand as the auto industry rebounds. The Detroit-based company plans to hire 400 to 500 workers at its Three Rivers, Michigan, factory over the next two years, David Tworek, a spokesman, said in an e-mail last month.
Others are looking to pull back. Mountain View, California- based Google Inc. said on Aug. 13 it will cut about 4,000 positions at its Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc. unit, with about one-third of the reductions coming in the U.S. Printer maker Lexmark International Inc. on Aug. 28 announced plans to eliminate 1,700 jobs globally.

                         This Year

Payroll gains slowed from an average 226,000 in the first quarter to 73,000 in the April to June period, before picking up in July. Before today’s report, data showed it had taken the U.S. three years to recover about half, or 4 million, of the 8.8 million jobs lost as a result of the 18-month recession that ended in June 2009.
The unemployment rate, derived from a separate Labor Department survey of households, has exceeded 8 percent since February 2009, the longest stretch in monthly records going back to 1948.
Bernanke in an Aug. 31 speech in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, cited “the daunting economic challenges” that confront the U.S. He also said the Fed will provide additional policy stimulus as needed to promote a stronger economic recovery.
“The stagnation of the labor market in particular is a grave concern,” he said. Persistently high unemployment “will wreak structural damage on our economy that could last for many years.”
Fed officials at their July 31-Aug. 1 meeting were moving toward additional monetary policy action, according to minutes of the gathering. Many members of the panel said more stimulus will be needed “fairly soon” unless the recovery shows signs of a “substantial and sustainable strengthening.”

(Google 'Obama Selma ' for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles a bout its various untruths.) !!

3.) Father Was A Proud Freedom Fighter - NOT EXACTLY, he was part of one of the most corrupt and violent governments Kenya has ever had.
4.) My Family Has Strong Ties To African Freedom - NOT EXACTLY; your cousin Raila Odinga has created mass violence in attempting to overturn a legitimate election in 2007, in Kenya . It is the first widespread violence in decades. The current government is pro-American but Odinga wants to overthrow it and establish Muslim Sharia law. Your half-brother, Abongo Oba ma, is Odinga's follower. You interrupted your New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the phone. Check out the following link for verification of that....and for more.
Obama's cousin Odinga in Kenya ran for president and tried to get Sharia Muslim law in place there. When Odinga lost the elections, his followers have burned Christians' homes and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter... Obama SUPPORTED his cousin before the election process here started. Google Obama and Odinga and see what you get. No one wants to know the truth.

6.) My Name is African Swahili - NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and 'Baraka' (from which Barack came) means 'blessed' in that language. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama.
Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. He is the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side.
While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya , his father's family was mainly Arabs.. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro).

February 28, 2008. Kristoff from the New York Times: Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it'll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as 'one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.' This is just one example of what Pamela is talking about when she says 'Obama's narrative is being altered, enhanced and manipulated to whitewash troubling facts.'
9.) I Was Fluent In Indonesian - NOT EXACTLY, not one teacher says you could speak the language.
10.) Because I Lived In Indonesia , I Have More Foreign Experience - NOT EXACTLY, you were there from the ages of 6 to 10, and couldn't even speak the language. What did you learn except how to study the Koran and watch cartoons?

30.) I Want All Votes To Count - NOT EXACTLY; you said let the delegates decide.
31.) I Want Americans To Decide - NOT EXACTLY, you prefer caucuses that limit the vote, confuse the voters, force a public vote, and only operate during small windows of time.
32.) I passed 900 Bills in the State Senate - NOT EXACTLY, you passed 26, most of which you didn't write yourself.

Pentagon Escalates Case Against Navy SEAL Author. The Pentagon has released new details about a secrecy agreement signed by a former Navy SEAL who wrote a book about his role in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, escalating its argument that the commando violated promises not to disclose classified information.
While declining to release the non-disclosure document signed by Matt Bissonnette, who used the pseudonym Mark Owen, a Defense Department spokesman shared with Reuters a secrecy agreement he said was identical to it.
Lt. Col. Todd Breasseale said Bissonnette violated his pledge simply by sharing the original manuscript of the book, "No Easy Day," with his publisher and a lawyer outside of government.

Breasseale said that the decision to seek a review of the manuscript for sensitive material by a "former special operations attorney" — which publisher Dutton has acknowledged — suggested Bissonnette had reason to believe it contained classified material.
Bissonnette and his attorney deny that "No Easy Day," released on Sept. 4, without pre-publication review by the government, contains classified information.
Bissonnette's attorney, Robert Luskin, declined to comment.

In an email, Breasseale said the former Navy SEAL's actions appear "to potentially violate his obligation not to disclose 'the contents of such preparation to any person not authorized to have access to SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) until I have received written authorization from the Department or Agency that last authorized my access to SCI that such disclosure was permitted.'"

The spokesman said he was was quoting from a standard Pentagon secrecy agreement which was "identical" to one which Bissonnette had signed.
Breasseale pointed to a paragraph in the secrecy agreement in which the signer acknowledges that the purpose of a pre-publication review was "to give the United States a reasonable opportunity to determine" if any manuscript contained any sensitive classified information.
He pointed to another paragraph in the agreement which said that if the person signing the agreement was "uncertain about the classification status of information" they were "required to confirm from an authorized official that the information is unclassified before I may disclose it."
The Pentagon on Tuesday for the first time said that the book, now at the top of Amazon's best-seller list, does contain classified information, without being more specific. It has announced it is considering legal action against the former SEAL.
"Through 'Mr. Owen's' own statements, he has already disclosed material at least to his attorney and his publisher — without prepublication review (purportedly in an effort to ascertain whether the text contained any classified information)," Breasseale said in the email.
The spokesman's statements appear intended to back up an Aug. 30 letter from Jeh Johnson, the Pentagon's top lawyer, to Bissonnette, via publisher Penguin Putnam, owner of the Dutton imprint.
In that letter, Johnson advised the former SEAL that the Pentagon had obtained and reviewed an early copy of his book and concluded that he was in "material breach and violation of the non-disclosure agreements you have signed."
Johnson's letter included copies of what it said were two such agreements. Breasseale said one of those documents was identical to the blank secrecy agreement that he made available to Reuters.
It is unclear whether Bissonnette signed any further non-disclosure agreements.
In a response to Johnson's letter, Luskin, a prominent Washington defense attorney, wrote that the non-disclosure agreement which the Pentagon lawyer attached to his Aug. 30 letter "invites, but by no means requires, Mr. Owen to submit materials for pre-publication review."
Dutton said the review by the "former special operations attorney" concluded the contents of "No Easy Day" were "without risk to national security." The publisher has not released further details regarding who reviewed the manuscript.

Report: Axelrod Sought to Intimidate Gallup When Findings Favored Romney

Emails between senior officials of the Gallup Organization show senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod attempting to subtly intimidate the polling firm when its numbers were unfavorable to the president.

After Gallup declined to change its polling methodology, the U.S. Department of Justice hit it with an unrelated lawsuit — alleging it had defrauded the government,
The Daily Caller reports.

And, weeks after announcing its filing of the lawsuit, the agency that is headed by Attorney General Eric Holder has yet to officially serve Gallup.

“We have not been served with the complaint,” a senior Gallup official told The Daily Caller. “I think they are drafting an amended complaint, but we cannot file an answer or motion to dismiss until we’ve been officially served.

“We obviously have a copy that has been distributed online, but until it is served, it is not official,” the Gallup official said.

Justice Department officials did not respond to queries from The Daily Caller regarding the lawsuit.

As for the emails, Axelrod tweeted in April that a poll showing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney with a 48-43 percent lead over Obama was “saddled with some methodological problems,” The Daily Caller reports.

As such, Axelrod directed his Twitter followers to read a report in the National Journal criticizing Gallup polls that showed Romney ahead.

In that National Journal article, Ron Brownstein wrote that the polls showing Romney leading the president had “a sample that looks much more like the electorate in 2010 than the voting population that is likely to turn out in 2012,” The Daily Caller reports.

Internally, Gallup officials discussed via email how to respond Axelrod’s accusations. One suggested that it “seems like a pretty good time for a blog response,” and named a potential writer, The Daily Caller reports.

In response to that suggestion, another senior Gallup official wrote — in an email chain titled “Axelrod vs. Gallup” — that the White House “has asked” a senior Gallup staffer “to come over and explain our methodology too.”

The Gallup official, the email continued, “has a plan that includes blogging and telling WH [the White House] he would love to have them come over here etc. This could be a very good moment for us to [show] our super rigorous methods compared to weak samples etc.”

The writer named several news organizations with their own polling methodologies, all of which resulted in numbers more favorable to President Obama at the time.

In response to that email, a third senior Gallup official said he thought Axelrod’s pressure “sounds a little like a Godfather situation,” The Daily Caller reports.

The various emails directly contradict what Axelrod’s fellow Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs told
The Washington Times this week about the campaign’s dealings with Gallup.

The newspaper reported that Gibbs said he was unaware of any communications between the Obama campaign and Gallup, The Daily Caller reports.

“I was the press secretary for two years,” Gibbs told the publication on Tuesday at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.
“I know and it was really smart not to get involved in discussing things around the Justice Department that I have no knowledge about.
