de Armas o Control de la Violencia? Alberto Perez.
De nuevo el presidente nos habla del caso de George Zimmerman y
la muerte de Tryon Martin, enfatizando en el peligro de las armas.
Si en algún caso se hace más evidente donde está el peligro de nuestra
sociedad es en el presente caso de Tryvon Martin.
No fue el que Zimmerman portara un arma lo que provocó el incidente,
no fue el que un vigilante vigilara lo que provocó el incidente, fue la
violencia de Tryon Martin lo que provocó el incidente que le costó la vida.
Las armas no producen incidentes, no es el portar armas lo que produce
el crimen, es la conducta del que recurre a la violencia lo que produce el
crimen.
La cultura de la violencia es el recurso a la agresión, a la ofensa,
al insulto, a los golpes, con el fin de vencer al otro, rebajarlo y, si es
posible, destruirlo y eliminarlo con o sin armas de fuego. Es el uso de la fuerza
para imponerse a los demás, violencia es cuando alguien se atraviesa en nuestro
camino y respondemos con un empujón o un sonido ofensivo del claxon o como el
caso de Trayvon, cuando alguien tiene una conducta con la que no estamos de
acuerdo..
Violencia es cuando una persona no quiere obtener los bienes con el
fruto de un trabajo honesto y quiere disfrutar sin trabajar. Para ello
violentamente asaltan, roban, secuestran y destruyen a los que trabajan
robándole el fruto de su trabajo.
La cultura de la violencia está presente en la cultura afroamericana,
el crimen y la cultura de la violencia esta omnipresente en la sociedad negra.
Instituciones afroamericanas como las Panteras Negras y los
musulmanes negros, son grupos paramilitares que intimidan por la violencia.
Pero no hablan de controlar las armas que violentamente exhiben estos
grupos, porque no es políticamente correcto, hablan de controlar las armas de
los ciudadanos comunes.
Lo peor para la sociedad afroamericana es que la mayor parte de las
victimas la violencia son los propios negros. La mayor parte de los
asesinatos con cometidos por negros contra negros.
El caso de Trayvon Martin es una oportunidad para que el presidente y
los medios de comunicación prediquen contra la cultura de la violencia. Pero
lo que vemos es que se politiza el hecho creando la demagogia de culpar al
racismo y a las armas del hecho, sin mencionar la cultura de la violencia en la
sociedad afroamericana.
Para controlar la violencia hay que cambiar la cultura de la violencia,
no eliminar las armas que muchos usan precisamente para defenderse de la
violencia.
Para controlar la violencia hay que controlar a los medios de
comunicación que insisten morbosamente en las notas rojas; si los programas de
cine y televisión, incluso las caricaturas, están saturados de crímenes,
asaltos y suspenso, es muy difícil sustraerse a este medio ambiente de
violencia. Pero no se puede tocar a Hollywood y a los medios de comunicación,
porque son socios políticos.
Cuando se prescinde de Dios; cuando se ignoran o se desprecian sus
criterios y valores, la violencia florece. Pero creer en Dios es
estúpido, la carencia de valores es mejor que los valores tradicionales
judeo-cristianos y esto crea el caldo de cultivo para la violencia.
El control de armas no es la solución a los problemas de la violencia,
si no se controla la violencia el crimen persiste. Si no matan con armas de
fuego, los violentos usan armas blancas, un garrote, o los puños para asesinar.
Pero no es políticamente correcto hablar de la cultura de la violencia
de los afroamericanos, es más políticamente correcto el pedir la eliminación
del derecho constitucional a portar armas, ignorando que las armas no son el
origen del crimen, la cultura de la violencia es la causa de los crímenes.
Toda sociedad, si no quiere ser destruida desde su propio seno, debe
establecer un orden justo. La violencia crea la destrucción- Sólo rechazando la
violencia como medio para resolver los problemas de la sociedad, se soluciona
el problema porque la violencia está contra la vida, destruye al hombre.
La
violencia, es aprendida, por tanto, puede ser desaprendida y reemplazada por
otros mecanismos, Pero si nuestros gobernantes y los medios de comunicación,
por intereses políticos, prefieren condenar a alguien como Zimmerman que usó un
arma de fuego para defenderse de la violencia que reconocer que el hecho fue
provocado por la conducta violenta de Trayvon Martin seguiremos viviendo en una
sociedad donde la violencia se convierte en el poder que determina nuestro modo
de vida. .
Estamos
presenciando el poder de la violencia, el poder de la intimidación y este poder
no puede ejercerse sino con la complicidad de nuestros gobernantes.

The February 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martion might never have happened if school officials in Miami-Dade County had not instituted an unofficial policy of treating crimes as school disciplinary infractions. Revelations that emerged from an internal affairs investigationexplain why Martin was not arrested when caught at school with stolen jewelry in October 2011 or with marijuana in February 2012. Instead, the teenager was suspended from school, the last time just days before he was shot dead by George Zimmerman.
Trayvon Martin was not from Sanford, the town north of Orlando where he was shot in 2012 and where a jury acquitted Zimmerman of murder charges Saturday. Martin was from Miami Gardens, more than 200 miles away, and had come to Sanford to stay with his father’s girlfriend Brandy Green at her home in the townhouse community where Zimmerman was in charge of the neighborhood watch. Trayvon was staying with Green after he had been suspended for the second time in six months from Krop High School in Miami-Dade County, where both his father, Tracy Martin, and mother, Sybrina Fulton, lived.
Both of Trayvon’s suspensions during his junior year at Krop High involved crimes that could have led to his prosecution as a juvenile offender. However, Chief Charles Hurley of the Miami-Dade School Police Department (MDSPD) in 2010 had implemented a policy that reduced the number of criiminal reports, manipulating statistics to create the appearance of a reduction in crime within the school system. Less than two weeks before Martin’s death, the school system commended Chief Hurley for “decreasing school-related juvenile delinquency by an impressive 60 percent for the last six months of 2011.”What was actually happening was that crimes were not being reported as crimes, but instead treated as disciplinary infractions.
In October 2011, after a video surveillance camera caught Martin writing graffiti on a door, MDSPD Office Darryl Dunn searched Martin’s backpack, looking for the marker he had used. Officer Dunn found 12 pieces of women’s jewelry and a man’s watch, along with a flathead screwdriver the officer described as a “burglary tool.” The jewelry and watch, which Martin claimed he had gotten from a friend he refused to name, matched a description of items stolen during the October 2011 burglary of a house on 204th Terrace, about a half-mile from the school. However, because of Chief Hurley’s policy “to lower the arrest rates,” as one MDSPD sergeant said in an internal investigation, the stolen jewerly was instead listed as “found property” and was never reported to Miami-Dade Police who were investigating the burglary. Similarly, in February 2012 when an MDSPD officer caught Martin with a small plastic bag containing marijuana residue, as well as a marijuana pipe, this was not treated as a crime, and instead Martin was suspended from school.
Either of those incidents could have put Trayvon Martin into the custody of the juvenile justice system. However, because of Chief Hurley’s attempt to reduce the school crime statistics — according to sworn testimony, officers were “basically told to lie and falsify” reports — Martin was never arrested. And if he had been arrested, he might never have been in Sanford the night of his fatal encounter with Zimmerman.
In fact, the reason Zimmerman was patrolling the townhouse community the night of the February 2012 shooting was that there had been a rash of burglaries in the neighborhood, although there was no indication that Trayvon Martin was involved in any of those crimes.

In March 2012, the Miami Herald reported on Martin’s troubled history of disciplinary incidents at Krop High. Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America .. Fair enough.. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.... This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was
here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a
community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached
the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.. Jeremiah
Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up
blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s
on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants,
student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty
programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.Governments,
businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks --
with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black
applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups,
schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to
support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes
for blacks.
We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude?
Barack talks about new
'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona, and Johnstown, and
ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy
League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving' white kids...?Is
white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration
rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America? Is
it really white America 's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American
community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in
some cities has reached 50 percent?
Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?
We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena . And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.
Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago. This needs to be passed around because, this is a message everyone needs to hear!!!

into President Barack Obama on Twitter after Obama's impromptu words on race at
a press briefing on Friday.
"When Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is, 'Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago,'" Obama said almost a week after the not guilty verdict in Florida for George Zimmerman, who said he shot Martin in self-defense.
Civil rights activists have insisted that race played a role in the case and urged Obama to speak on the subject. When he finally did, Woods was not impressed.
"Just curious. Does the president of the United States have any advice for other teenage boys in America? Wounded warriors, for example . . ." Woods tweeted. More than 800 people retweeted him.
He followed that with more:
"ALL youth of every heritage in this country would benefit from jobs and manageable student loans, NOT a bloated welfare state."
"The only reason people lock their car doors when Obama walks by is they are afraid he'll tax them to death . . . " (That one got more than 1,000 retweets.)
"Racial integration has worked in the Armed Forces because everyone has a job, gets training in a skill, and MUST respect the rank of others."
"The race issues in America that have bedeviled this nation for decades could be greatly resolved with JOBS and EDUCATION and SKILLS TRAINING."
In response to other Twitter users, Woods responded, "Though I only have anecdotal evidence, I have personally watched diversity flourish in this country in my 66 years." and "For Sharpton et al, racial disharmony is in part a business. Kids.”
It is abundantly obvious Chicagoans have no qualms
about electing radical leftists. A
ridiculous notionadvanced
by one state representative from the crime-ridden city, however, illustrates
the depravity of area politics.
Monique Davis, addressing the Windy City’s prevailing
murder epidemic, shared a particularly deranged conspiracy theory.
“I’m going to tell you what some suspicions have
been,” she told listeners of a local radio station, explaining “people have
whispered” to her that “they’re not sure that black people are shooting all of
these children.”
As if such willful ignorance was not discouraging
enough, she suggested the brave men and women in law enforcement might actually
be behind the widespread violence.
“I don’t want to spread this, but I’m just going to
tell you what I’ve been hearing,” she said, in a transparent ploy to avoid
responsibility for the absurd comment. “They suspect maybe the police are
killing some of these kids.”
The representative demonstrated a quintessential leftist
tactic by making tacit allegations without any tangible evidence. Once such
misinformation reaches the public, they know at least a portion of the
population will eagerly believe it to confirm their own prejudices.
The left has tried — often successfully — to foment
hate toward the majority race in the aftermath of a case involving two
minorities. Davis and her ideological comrades take the idiocy to another level
by exonerating real murderers in favor of condemning those tasked with keeping
citizens safe.
Garry McCarthy, superintendent of the Chicago police
force, called Davis’ statements “absurd,” “inflammatory” and “insulting.” In
response, the elected official doubled down by standing with the anonymous
conspiracy theorists to whom she previously alluded.
Clearing up any confusion, Davis prefaced her
statements on a local radio station with this disclaimer: “I’m not a detective;
I’m not an investigator.”
She then repeated her previous contention that “many
people in my community … believe it is possible that some of these murders are
committed by our finest. Now, we can’t say that doesn’t happen.”
Disingenuous arguments often involve promulgating
vicious rumors and calling on the accused to prove them wrong. Even in the
notoriously corrupt culture of Chicago politics, such crass behavior should be
considered beyond the pale.

into President Barack Obama on Twitter after Obama's impromptu words on race at
a press briefing on Friday.
"When Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is, 'Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago,'" Obama said almost a week after the not guilty verdict in Florida for George Zimmerman, who said he shot Martin in self-defense.
Civil rights activists have insisted that race played a role in the case and urged Obama to speak on the subject. When he finally did, Woods was not impressed.
"Just curious. Does the president of the United States have any advice for other teenage boys in America? Wounded warriors, for example . . ." Woods tweeted. More than 800 people retweeted him.
He followed that with more:
"ALL youth of every heritage in this country would benefit from jobs and manageable student loans, NOT a bloated welfare state."
"The only reason people lock their car doors when Obama walks by is they are afraid he'll tax them to death . . . " (That one got more than 1,000 retweets.)
"Racial integration has worked in the Armed Forces because everyone has a job, gets training in a skill, and MUST respect the rank of others."
"The race issues in America that have bedeviled this nation for decades could be greatly resolved with JOBS and EDUCATION and SKILLS TRAINING."

The first family is returning this summer to Martha’s
Vineyard, the third time the Obamas have vacationed on the exclusive
Massachusetts island in the past four years.
President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will
arrive August 10 and stay through August 18, the White House said earlier this
month.
The vacation is drawing some criticism about the
president relaxing among the rich and famous while drastic cuts to the federal
budget known as sequester kick in with full force, including the start this
month of furloughs for 85 percent of the Defense Department’s civilian
workforce.
The family is reportedly staying near Chilmark pond in
a “veddy private, veddy secluded and veddy posh island retreat,” writes Boston Herald
columnist
Gayle Fee.
Among the closest neighbors will be Hollywood couple
Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, whom Fee describes as “ardent” Democrats and
friends of President Clinton and wife Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of
state.
Still, at least one local merchant is excited about
the first family’s return.
“It’s nice to have the president of the United
States,” Robert Breth, owner of Martha’s Bike Rental, told FoxNews.com on
Sunday. “It puts the word out about Martha’s Vineyard.”
Breth downplayed the inconveniences of the visit,
saying the presidential motorcade can create some traffic problems, “but it’s
quiet for the most part. They’re not here to make a ruckus.”
The White House says the first couple has no public
events scheduled that week. Daughters Sasha and Malia have joined their parents
on the previous vacations.
The Obamas didn’t vacation on the island during the
2012 election season but spent the first three trips at the Blue Heron Farm in
Chilmark, which overlooks Tisbury Great Pond.
However, the 28-acre retreat was bought in 2011 for
$21.9 million by British architect Lord Norman Foster.

I think he's led a kind of make-believe life in which money was provided and doors were opened because at some point early on somebody or some group (George Soros anybody?) took a look at this tall, good looking, half-white, half-black, young man with an exotic African/Muslim name and concluded he could be guided toward a life in politics where his facile speaking skills could even put him in the White House.
In a very real way, he has been a young man in a very big hurry. Who else do you know has written two memoirs before the age of 45? "Dreams of My Father" was published in 1995 when he was only 34 years old. The "Audacity of Hope" followed in 2006. If, indeed, he did write them himself. There are some who think that his mentor and friend, Bill Ayers, a man who calls himself a "communist with a small 'c'" was the real author.
His political skills consisted of rarely voting on anything that might be deemed controversial. He went from a legislator in the Illinois legislature to the Senator from that state because he had the good fortune of having Mayor Daley's formidable political machine at his disposal.
He was in the U.S. Senate so briefly that his bid for the presidency was either an act of astonishing self-confidence or part of some greater game plan that had been determined before he first stepped foot in the Capital. How, many must wonder, was he selected to be a 2004 keynote speaker at the Democrat convention that nominated John Kerry when virtually no one had ever even heard of him before?
He outmaneuvered Hillary Clinton in primaries. He took Iowa by storm. A charming young man, an anomaly in the state with a very small black population, he oozed "cool" in a place where agriculture was the antithesis of cool. He dazzled the locals. And he had an army of volunteers drawn to a charisma that hid any real substance.
And then he had the great good fortune of having the Republicans select one of the most inept candidates for the presidency since Bob Dole... And then John McCain did something crazy. He picked Sarah Palin, an unknown female governor from the very distant state of Alaska. It was a ticket that was reminiscent of 1984's Walter Mondale and Geraldine Ferraro and they went down to defeat.
The mainstream political media fell in love with him. It was a schoolgirl crush with febrile commentators like Chris Mathews swooning then and now over the man. The venom directed against McCain and, in particular, Palin, was extraordinary.
Now, 4 full years into his presidency, all of those gilded years leading up to the White House have left him unprepared to be President. Left to his own instincts, he has a talent for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. It swiftly became a joke that he could not deliver even the briefest of statements without the ever-present Tele-Prompters.
Far worse, however, is his capacity to want to "wish away" some terrible realities, not the least of which is the Islamist intention to destroy America and enslave the West. Any student of history knows how swiftly Islam initially spread. It knocked on the doors of Europe, having gained a foothold in Spain.
The great crowds that greeted him at home or on his campaign "world tour" were no substitute for having even the slightest grasp of history and the reality of a world filled with really bad people with really bad intentions.
Oddly and perhaps even inevitably, his political experience, a cakewalk, has positioned him to destroy the Democrat Party's hold on power in Congress because in the end it was never about the Party. It was always about his communist ideology, learned at an early age from family, mentors, college professors, and extreme leftist friends and colleagues.
Obama is a man who could deliver a snap judgment about a Boston police officer who arrested an "obstreperous" Harvard professor-friend, but would warn Americans against "jumping to conclusions" about a mass murderer at Fort Hood who shouted "Allahu Akbar." The absurdity of that was lost on no one. He has since compounded this by calling the Christmas bomber "an isolated extremist" only to have to admit a day or two later that he was part of an al Qaeda plot.
He is a man who could strive to close down our detention facility at Guantanamo even though those released were known to have returned to the battlefield against America. He could even instruct his Attorney General to afford the perpetrator of 9/11 a civil trial when no one else would ever even consider such an obscenity. And he is a man who could wait three days before having anything to say about the perpetrator of yet another terrorist attack on Americans and then have to elaborate on his remarks the following day because his first statement was so lame.
The pattern repeats itself. He either blames any problem on the Bush administration or he naively seeks to wish away the truth.
Knock, knock. Anyone home? Anyone there? Barack Obama exists only as the sock puppet of his handlers, of the people who have maneuvered and manufactured this pathetic individual's life.
When anyone else would quickly and easily produce a birth certificate, this man spent over a million dollars to deny access to his. Most other documents, the paper trail we all leave in our wake, have been sequestered from review. He has lived a make-believe life whose true facts remain hidden.

attempted, where 200,000 Americans stormed the beaches at Normandy to begin the
final push to defeat Nazi Germany in WWII. D-Day marked
the turning point in WWII in Europe, where the Nazis were engaged in mass
murder of Jews and minorities by the thousands. On this day,
European heads of state make it a point to recall and honor the sacrifices of

won't recognize me. My name was Antonio West and I was the 13-month old
child who was shot at point blank range by two black teens who were attempting to rob my
mother, who was also shot. A Grand Jury of my mommy's peers from
Brunswick GA determined the teens who murdered me will not face the death
penalty...too bad. I was given a death sentence for being innocent and
defenseless.
My family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder was not ruled a Hate Crime. Nor did President Obama take so much as a single moment to acknowledge my murder. I am one of the youngest murder victims in our great Nation's history, but the media doesn't care to cover the story of my tragic demise, President Obama has no children who could possibly look like me - so he doesn't care and the media doesn't care because my story is not interesting enough to bring them ratings so they can sell commercial time slots. There is not a white equivalent of Al Sharpton because if there was he would be declared racist, so there is no one rushing to Brunswick GA to demand justice for me. There is no White Panther party to put a bounty on the lives of those who murdered me. Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America .. Fair enough.. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.... This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.. Jeremiah Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.
We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude??
Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona, and Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving' white kids...? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really white America 's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?
Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?
We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena . And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.
Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago. This needs to be passed around because, this is a message everyone needs to hear!!!
