“En mi opinión” Carlos Gimenez es un mentiroso que llego a la alcaldía con falsos promesas y desde que está ahí lo único que ha hecho es extorsionar a los ciudadanos del condado. Este siniestro personaje desde que llego tratado de tapar todo lo malo que hizo el anterior alcalde que fue expulsado de la alcaldía por un RECALL y que en los últimos meses se ha esmerado en subir el costo del agua porque supuestamente las tuberías del agua están dañadas y para ello quiere muchísimos millones de nuestro bolsillo, quieren darle más dinero a los bomberos y a los policías. Empleados que se retiran con $80,000 dólares anuales de pensión a los 50 año y hay que poner un hombre en su puesto que ganara en poco tiempo una fortuna y también se retirara a los 50 años. Porque los empleados del condado tienen que tener esos beneficios astronómicos si nosotros nos tenemos que retirar a los 65 exactamente 15 años después que ellos y nosotros pagamos sus salarios y beneficios. Esto es sin contar el sablazo que se nos viene encima por ‘LAS ACTUALIZACIONES Y MEJORAS” que le quieren hacer al Hospital Jackson, este Jackson ha costado más que hacer la torre de Babel. Ahora este personaje que nos impuso a 5 amigos de el cómo vicealcaldes, con salarios fastuosos. Posiciones que ni siquiera existía en el condado. Ahora este emperador sin imperio también quiere elevar por que a él le da la gana, el amillaramiento de las casas nuestras, por encima del tasador de la propiedad que elegimos y que no está diciendo ni pio. MIAMI, 10 DE JULIO DE 2013, NHR.com—El anuncio del alcalde de Miami-Dade, Carlos Giménez, sobre el aumento del impuesto a la propiedad, echa abajo toda aquella propaganda política que usó cuando se postuló a la alcaldía, primero contra Julio Robaina, y posteriormente contra Joe Martínez. “No aumentaremos los impuestos a la propiedad”, decía Giménez en todos los mítines políticos y en cada una de sus apariciones en programas radiales y televisivos; ya todo ha cambiado, hoy no es candidato.“Un alcalde incapaz de exigirle a los Miami Heat que le pague al condado más de $3 millones de dólares que le debe, y ni siquiera es capaz de por lo menos pedirle los más de $600 mil dólares que le pagó a su cabildero por conseguir un jugoso contrato en la Arena del downtown, sin embargo le lanza al pueblo una bofetada como ésa, merece el desprecio de todos”, decía un correo llegado a NHR.com en horas de la noche de ayer martes.
La noticia ha asombrado a los residentes de Miami-Dade; nadie esperaba el aumento del impuesto a la propiedad. Pero está ocurriendo, el alcalde Carlos Giménez propone aumentar el impuesto a la propiedad para evitar el despido de bomberos y grandes recortes en las bibliotecas.
Aparte, también hay que separar dinero para financiar un plan para detener la muerte de perros y gatos en los refugios de animales del Condado, propuesta votada por los electores.
El presupuesto que el alcalde Giménez ha presentado para el 2013-2014 incluye un 4.06 por ciento, lo que significa que a los dueños de propiedades valoradas en unos $200.000 se les aumentaría sus impuestos en poco más de $75 dólares.
Lo que ha llamado la atención es que en estos momentos en que el alcalde apoyó el ofrecimiento de fondos públicos para la renovación del Sun Life Stadium, aunque luego no fue aprobado, y con un aumento de un 8% para costear las reparaciones del sistema de agua y alcantarillado, ahora se aparezca con otro aumento a la propiedad. “Estas son las decisiones que hacen que los votantes pierdan fe en sus políticos”, dijo una señora ya mayor que escuchaba los comentarios que en una ventanilla de café en la Calle Ocho, “nos saca el dinero de nuestros bolcillos”, dijo.
Eso sin tener en cuenta que los votantes de Miami-Dade tendrán que decidir si se aumenta el impuestos a la propiedad para realizar grandes mejoras al Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH) cuando se coloque la pregunta en las elecciones de noviembre, según acordaron los comisionados de Miami-Dade con una votación de 9 a favor y 1 en contra, durante su reunión de hace dos semanas.
Ese referéndum, que tendrá lugar el 5 de noviembre, propone una emisión de bonos por $830 millones para mejoras en las instalaciones del envejecido sistema del Jackson Memorial, además de adquirir nuevos equipos y ampliar los servicios, “serian dos aumentos a la propiedad”, nos dice otro lector que nos escribe.

declaración Universal de los derechos humanos. Alberto Perez.
En artículo 18 de la declaración universal
de los derechos humanos dice literalmente:
"Toda
persona tiene derecho a la libertad de pensamiento, de conciencia y de
religión, este derecho incluye la libertad de cambiar de religión o de
creencia, así como la libertad de manifestar su religión o creencia, individual
y colectivamente, tanto en público como en privado, de poder ejercer dicha
creencia públicamente sin ser víctima de opresión, discriminación o intento de
cambiarla."
Este artículo
parece ser claro, pero vemos como en la realidad se tergiversa y no se cumple,
o se ejecuta a la inversa, o se cumple selectivamente en algunos casos y en
otros no.
Creo que los
creyentes cristianos, selectivamente, están siendo privados de los derechos que
le otorga la declaración de los derechos humanos. Digo selectivamente,
porque no veo esta opresión con otras creencias. No porque crea que las
otras creencias no tengan sus derechos, al contrario, lo que me intriga es el
por qué de los ataque selectivos al cristianismo y no a otros a los que se les
respetan sus derechos como es el Islam.
Realmente
creo que el problema no es religioso sino político.
La cultura
secular occidental se basa en los principios morales Judeo-cristianos.
Estos
principios sin ser considerado religiosos pero considerados como
reglas morales son los que han formado la civilización como le hemos
conocido.
Si el intento
es destruir los principios morales de la sociedad establecida, el plan de
ataque debe de ser destruir su origen, que es el cristianismo.
Destruyendo el cristianismo se establece la apertura para poder atacar los
principios morales de la cultura establecida y se crean las condiciones para
una nueva cultura en una nueva sociedad. Es el principio para la creación de
"Hombre Nuevo" que soñó Marx.
No voy a
mencionar los casos ya conocidos de la protesta contra los iconos cristianos
como son los nacimientos o las imágenes de las tablas de los diez
mandamientos.
Voy a
recordar un hecho reciente en un juego de pelota entre los Miami Marlins y los
Cardenales de San Luis, en la ciudad de San Luis.
Los peloteros
siempre han sido más que religiosos, supersticiosos, y hacen gestos como
persignarse y mirar al cielo cuando están bateando o picheando. Un
pitcher hubo de poner en el montículo un simbolo religioso que fue detectada en
televisión. Fue amonestado y tuvo que removerlo, porque resultaba
"ofensiva" para los ateos.
¿Que hay de
la declaración de los derechos humanos que dice que una persona tiene el
derecho a expresar su creencia públicamente?
Por otro
lado, en mi barrio, hay un parque en el que han aparecido "Trabajos de
santería" diariamente.
En una
reunión de vecinos, algunos se quejaron a un oficial de la policía de apellido
Camacho, porque consideraron que esto era ensuciar (Littering) y que esto
estaba penalizado por la ley.
El oficial
dijo que habían precedentes que no podían condenar a alguien por un ritual
religioso. Que ellos recogerían los "trabajos" cuando los
llamaran pero que no podían castigar a los que los hicieran.
Considero que
está bien, lo que para nosotros nos parece un montón de basura que afea el
parque, para otros es un "ritual" y creo que tienen su derecho.
Pero lo que
es indefendible basado en esto, es que multen a una institución que se
arriesgue a poner un bonito nacimiento iluminado, que adorna el parque, porque
cuando los multan están de esta manera violando el derecho de la institución de
expresar su creencia, porque el simple hecho de que es ofensivo para los no
cristianos.
La santería,
tiene sus derechos, los Islámicos tienen su derecho, los cristianos los
debieran tenerlos también. Lo contrario es discriminación, una violación de la
Declaración de los Derechos Humanos y de la constitución de Estados Unidos.
La diferencia
es que el cristianismo es el origen de los principios establecidos, y esto es
un peligro para los que quieren destruir estos principios para su agenda de la
implantación de Marxismos ateo y materialista.

Mr. President, Which Side Are You On–Egypt’s Secular Military Leadership or the Muslim Brotherhood?
President Obama finds himself in yet another foreign policy
conundrum. Last week while Americans were preparing for the 4th
of July weekend and President Obama was on yet another vacation in Africa,
US-supported President of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, was unseated in a coup
d’etat. The post of Egyptian Head of State is again up for grabs.
As it turns out, Morsi wasn’t Islamic enough to suffice his Muslim Brotherhood
compatriots.
So President Obama is now in the contentious position of choosing a
figurehead du jour to support. The idea that Egypt follows a democratic
process to elect its leadership is fallacy. As Egypt’s secular military
leadership and its Islamic factions scramble to determine who will be seated in
power, Obama may have to reach for his binder full of Muslims to examine his
possible choices:
Hosni Mubarak - Soviet-trained military strategist and former
director of the Egyptian Air Force, former Egyptian Vice President rumored to
be complicit in assassination of Egyptian president Anwar Sadat, governed under
a policy of “positive neutrality” toward Israel and neighboring Arab
nations. As long as he kept the peace, both Democrat and Republican
leaders supported him for thirty years. In 2011, was overthrown as a casualty
of the Arab Spring when the Muslim Brotherhood took over leadership of Egyptian
military. Suffered a health crisis (dead) and is presently unavailable
for the opening.
Mohamed Morsi - US-educated Islamist, former assistant
professor at California State University – Northridge, deemed ideologically
rigid by his Brotherhood peers, leading member of Muslim Brotherhood,
installed as Muslim Brotherhood figurehead for the purpose of invoking Islamic
caliphate in Egypt. Failure to deliver on his campaign promises led to
his coup d’etat July 3rd.
Mohamed ElBaradei - lawyer, adjunct professor of international law at the New York University School of Law, career UN
bureaucrat/diplomat whose storied legacy as International Atomic Energy Agency
(IAEA) Director General include calling for international criminal
investigations of former Bush administration officials for their roles in
planning the war on Iraq who was hence awarded the title of
Nobel Peace Laureate for efforts to prevent nuclear energy from being used
for military purposes and to ensure that nuclear energy, for peaceful purposes,
is used in the safest possible way by essentially stalling US national
security efforts against her enemies. Present leader of the National
Coalition for Change in Egypt.
Binder notation: Sure he hates Bush, but is he Islamic
enough to appease the petulant Muslim Brotherhood?
ElBaradei is quite a secular choice given Grand Imam of Al Azhar Dr
Ahmed El Tayyib prefers the more low profile choice of Supreme Constitutional
Court head, Adly Mansour, to act as interim leader. (Interim leader to
whom?)
Binder notation: Mansour must not be well liked as the
position of interim president tends to end in coup’d etat, imprisonment or
health crisis.
With the Middle East in turmoil once again, what other options does the
Obama administration have available?
Option one: diplomacy. Diplomacy first, second and seventy
time seven. Unfortunately simply conducting seminars will not resolve
centuries old tribal factions and regional animus.
Option two: appeasement and deferment. The UN Security
Council can be trusted to self-police their Middle Eastern neighbors. Who
is the US to interfere?
Option three: military involvement. Any multi-lateral NATO
troop deployment to the region would be seen as US aggression further inflame
Arab sensitivities. Unfortunately the self-imposed sequester backfired
and the gifted $1.5 billion in Egyptian military aid has left the US with
precious little to combat Middle Eastern instability. (Perhaps the
Commander in Chief should reinstate those much maligned horses and bayonets
that he sneered about in the debates.)

• The Obama administration covered up a debacle in Benghazi that cost the lives of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and other Americans. • The Obama administration used the Internal Revenue Service as an attack dog against its political adversaries, including, but not limited to, the tea party movement. • The Obama administration even targeted its friends in the media by spying on journalists at the largest news-gathering operation in the world, the Associated Press, along with a reporter from Fox News. Could this be just the tip of the iceberg? Have the media begun to turn? Why are even some of Barack Obama's most loyal supporters beginning to have their doubts? Why did the first post-scandal poll show some 50 percent of Americans supporting impeachment of Obama? What would happen, in this climate, if Obama's biggest secret ever were blown wide open for the public to see? What is that biggest secret? It's that Obama's Hawaii "birth certificate" is, beyond any shadow of a doubt, a forgery – a fraud. That scandal, too, is about to break wide open, according to investigators working within Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Cold Case Posse. They say some new earth-shattering developments will soon be announced. ***But the Cold Case Posse investigation, headed by Mike Zullo, desperately needs financial support to complete its work. *** "To the public, it may appear that we dropped off the radar screen – that we went silent," said Zullo. "It's true that we did. But we did this out of strategic necessity. We went silent because the investigation needed silence to continue its work." Zullo says that work has progressed to the point that the investigation believes it can prove to any unbiased authority that Obama's birth certificate is fraudulent – which suggests he may not even be constitutionally eligible to serve in the White House. Would that be the ultimate shocker? Would that not send a shockwave through Washington and the rest of the country? ***There's just one problem: The Cold Case Posse needs private contributions to complete its groundbreaking work.*** The Zullo and the Cold Case Posse have prepared an exhaustive affidavit that will be introduced for the consideration of the Alabama Supreme Court in a case brought by attorney Larry Klayman on behalf of behalf of 2012 Constitution Party presidential nominee Virgil Goode and Alabama Republican Party leader Hugh McInnish, who are seeking to force Alabama Secretary of State Beth Chapman to verify that all candidates on the state's 2012 ballot were eligible to serve. The case, dismissed at a lower level, is now before the Alabama Supreme Court, where strict constitutionalist Roy Moore was elected chief justice last November. The case becomes all the more intriguing because Moore is on record previously questioning Obama's constitutional eligibility to serve as president. Last year, Arpaio held a press conference at which he and Zullo outlined their initial findings. "At that time, we announced that we had concluded that there was probable cause that forgery and fraud had been committed in respect of two documents: 1) the long-form or original birth certificate computer image presented by Mr. Obama, which contained multiple errors and anomalies, many of them serious and: 2) the selective-service document for Mr. Obama, which contained a two-digit year-stamp. This was contrary to specifications issued by federal regulations to the effect that the year of issue should be expressed as four digits on the stamp, and also contrary to any other selective-service registration document that we had been able to examine," Zullo wrote in his affidavit to the Alabama court. The result of the evidence, he said, is one conclusion. "Accordingly, Sheriff Arpaio continues to recommend that the Congress of the United States open an immediate investigation, including the appointment of a select committee, as regards to the authenticity of Mr. Obama's documentation, whether any crimes have been committed, and to determine Mr. Obama's eligibility for the office of president of the United States," he said. Zullo continues: "Mr. Obama has in fact not offered any verifiable authoritative document of any legal significance or possessing any evidentiary value as to the origins of his purported birth narrative or location of the birth event." At issue is the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural born citizen," something a foreigner likely would not be able to qualify as, he said. "One of our most serious concerns is that the White House document appears to have been fabricated piecemeal on a computer, constructed by drawing together digitized data from several unknown sources," Zullo wrote.
