horas, NHR.com ha podido confirmar que agentes del FBI se encuentran
investigando el fraude masivo ocurrido en las pasadas elecciones donde miles de
boletas ausentes fueron manipuladas por los llamados “boleteros”; hombres y
mujeres que proliferan por todo el condado y que son contratados por los
asesores políticos de los candidatos, que en ocasiones, les pagan hasta 30
dólares por cada boleta que consigan para su candidato, o hasta una buena cifra
que puede llegar a tres ceros.A medida que discretamente continúa la investigación de la Unidad de Corrupción Pública de la Policía de Miami-Dade y el FBI, surge en la palestra un nuevo nombre de boletera. Su tarjeta está impresa a todo color y exhibe varios números de teléfonos. Su nombre, según Elaine de Valle en su Political Cortadito, es Noucelia Josna, y se encarga de que la conozcan como “La Reina de las Boletas Ausentes”. En su tarjeta se ofrece como “Independent Political Consultant”.
La tal “Reina” recibió la suma de 5 mil dólares por parte de la candidata para representante por el distrito 107, Bárbara Watson, quien logró desbancar al titular John Patrick Julien, al obtener las 83 boletas ausentes que necesitaba para obtener la victoria durante un recuento al día siguiente de las elecciones del 14 de agosto.
Julien se encuentra pidiendo a la fiscalía una investigación en relación a la contratación de la boletera Josna.
La misma candidata y ahora representante electa, Bárbara Watson, contrató a otra persona del mismo apellido Josna, residente en Miami Lakes.
Por otra parte, René Pedrosa, reportero de Actualidad 1020/1040, dio a conocer que Isolina Maroño, madre del alcalde de Sweetwater, Manny Maroño, es una conocida boletera que ha trabajado con la boletera de Hialeah, Deisy Cabrera. Maroño podría ser implicada en la investigación.
Varios activistas de la política de Miami y Miami Beach, incluyendo a La Pequeña Habana, señalan hacia otras madres y parentelas de algunas reconocidas figuras de la política. La lista de sospechosos crece por día, según ha podido averiguar NHR.com.

Sen. John McCain says Republican Mitt Romney has to
sell his message about jobs and the economy to women and Hispanics this
November if he wants to beat President Barack Obama.
McCain, who led an unsuccessful bid against Obama in 2008, also said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Missouri Rep. Todd Akin should “abandon his quest for the United States Senate” because of his ill-informed comments on rape.
Romney has been at a disadvantage in the campaign so far because of Obama's aggressive ad campaign that suggests Romney is out of touch with the average voter.
But McCain says he thinks that perception will change as Romney gets a chance to go more on the offensive.
McCain said Romney must convince women and Hispanic voters that his ability to create jobs and improve the economy is "more important than other issues."
He said that Missouri Senate candidate Akin should recognize that the party nomination is a privilege “and if you abuse that privilege, then you are not eligible to keep it.”
The 2008 Republican presidential nominee said that Akin will not be able to count on the GOP.
“What he said was unacceptable, and we Republicans have to consider all options to start with making sure Mr. Akin knows he will not have the support of the mainstream Republican Party or any of our organizations.”
McCain brushed off Mitt Romney’s off-the-cuff remark about birth certificates and called it an “attempt at humor.” Romney, who is poised to accept the Republican Party’s presidential nomination this week, said at a campaign rally Friday “no one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate.”

This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. I voted for Obama. McCain was a Washington insider and we don't need any more of them. I have changed my mind three times, since then. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. I started thinking "where does all the money come from for President Obama"? I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans. I started looking into Obama's history for my own peace of mind.
Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California . He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies.
"Barry" (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan . During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia , next Hyderabad in India , three weeks in Karachi , Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family.
My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they were in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York . It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia ? It's not cheap to say the least.
My girls asked me; where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe it's none of my business?
After Columbia , he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year.
Why Chicago ? Why not New York ? He was already living in New York . By "chance" he met Antoin " Tony " Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria , and a real estate developer in Chicago . Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery several times in the past and in 2011. Rezko, was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association". About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School .Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School ?
Where did he get the money for Law School ? More student loans? His family has no money that's for sure.
After Law school, he went back to Chicago . Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what I discovered? They represented "Rezar" which is Rezko's firm.
Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago . In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race.
In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for this property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz , Iran ! Am I going nuts or is there a pattern here?
On May 10, 2008, The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was "sacked" after the press found out he was having regular contacts with "Hamas", which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran . This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq , he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will "Take care of things". What the heck does that mean?
Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that were born in Pakistan ? They are in charge of all those "small" Internet campaign contribution for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East ?
And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2009, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, "My Muslim faith". When questioned, "he made a mistake". Some mistake, eh?

Trade With China Cost US 2.7 Million Jobs
Since China entered the World Trade Organization in 2001, the massive
increase in Chinese exports to America and China’s unfair trade practices have
cost Americans more than 2.7 million jobs, according to a new report.
“The growing trade deficit with China has been a prime contributor to the
crisis in U.S. manufacturing employment,” states the report from the Economic
Policy Institute.
U.S. imports from China have soared from $102 billion in 2001 to $398.5
billion last year. Meanwhile American exports to China have grown from $18
billion in 2001 to $96.9 billion in 2011, producing a trade deficit last year
of more than $300 billion.
“China’s entry into the WTO in 2001 was supposed to bring it into
compliance with an enforceable, rules-based regime that would require China to
open its markets to imports from the United States and other nations by
reducing tariffs and addressing non-tariff barriers to trade,” observed Robert
E. Scott, the author of the report. Scott is director of trade and
manufacturing policy research at the Economic Policy Institute, a think
tank that analyzes the impact of economic trends and policies on working people
in the United States.
“However, as a result of China’s currency manipulation and other
trade-distorting practices, including extensive subsidies, legal and illegal
barriers to imports, dumping, and suppression of wages and labor rights, the
envisioned flow of U.S. exports to China did not occur.
“Further, the agreement spurred foreign direct investment in Chinese enterprises, which has expanded China’s manufacturing sector at the expense of the United States. Finally, the core of the agreement failed to include any protections to maintain or improve labor or environmental standards or to prohibit currency manipulation.”

The 2.7 million-plus jobs lost since 2001 include more than 2.1 million in
manufacturing, or 77 percent of the total. The hardest hit industry was
computer and electronic products, which lost more than 1.06 million jobs,
followed by apparel and accessories (211,000 jobs), textile mills and textile
product mills (106,000), and fabricated metal products (120,000).
The report’s job loss estimates “include only the direct and indirect jobs
displaced by trade, and exclude jobs in domestic wholesale and retail trade or
advertising,” Scott points out.
“Imports displace goods that otherwise would have been made in the United States by domestic workers.”

The hardest hit state was New Hampshire, which lost 20,400 jobs or 2.94
percent of its total employment from 2001 to 2011, followed by California (2.87
percent), Massachusetts (2.86 percent), and Oregon (2.85 percent).
In actual numbers, California lost 474,700 jobs, followed by Texas
(239,600), New York (158,800), and Illinois (113,700).
“But the jobs impact of the China trade deficit is not restricted to job
loss and displacement,” according to Scott.
“Competition with low-wage workers from less-developed countries such as
China has driven down wages for workers in U.S. manufacturing and reduced the
wages and bargaining power of similar, non-college-educated workers throughout
the economy.”
He concludes: “The U.S.-China trade relationship needs a fundamental
change. Addressing the exchange rate policies and labor standards issues in the
Chinese economy is an important first step. It is time for the administration
to respond to the growing chorus of calls from economists, workers, businesses,
and Congress and take action to stop illegal currency manipulation by China and
other countries.”
