looks like the Republican convention will make superstar actor Clint Eastwood’s
day. He’s headed to the confab or soon will be, a “well-placed Republican
source” told Townhall.com.
The Oscar winner is no stranger to politics, having served as mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif., from 1986-88. The source said Eastwood will arrive in Tampa late Wednesday or early Thursday and will return to his southern California home Friday.
Speculation has grown that Eastwood will serve as the convention’s "mystery speaker" Thursday night. He endorsed Romney earlier this month and supported John McCain's presidential candidacy four years ago.

¿Involucrados directamente en las boletas ausentes El Alcalde de Miami Dade Carlos Gimenez y La Fiscal del estado Katherine Fernández Rondo? Entre otros “pejes gordos” (cometario respecto a mi articulo de ayer. LRGM) por el Dr. Enrique Pérez Blanco.
Lazarito, no va a pasar ni hostia. El ex-Alcalde Alvarez, publico en el
periódico El Nuevo Herald, que lo leí con estos ojitos que algún día
incineraran, la denuncia de que siendo Jefe de la Policía del Condado, había
presentado a la fiscal, cientos, oye esto (como decía el inigualable tres patines),
cientos de casos de corrupción comprobados y que ninguno fue nunca procesado
por la fiscalía. ¿Que hizo la Fiscal? No se dio por aludida.
Todo quedara
igual. A las boleteras quizás le pongan alguna multa que, espero al
menos pagaran sus amos. Los poderosos no importan que delincan en
cualquiera de los delitos penados, incluso que maten, que haya cien
testigos, que lo cojan con el revolver en la mano. Nunca irán a juicio. Y
si van, enredan el caso, escogen a los testigos, etc. Encuentra a un tonto
Oswald Lee, etc. Uno de los trucos de la impunidad en el establishment, es
ese. Los únicos que pueden presentar un caso criminal ante la corte, son los
fiscales en representación de la Nación, el Estado o local. Si ellos no
quieren, no hay caso simplemente. La estatua de la balanza de la justicia
tiene los ojos vendados; pero no los otros cuatro sentidos, sobre todo el
olfato para el cash. El grave problema de los EU, no es la crisis económica ni
política, es la falta de ética y el crimen impune de los de arriba. Y que por
reacción en cadena da lugar al crimen de los de abajo. Así empezaron las
debacles de Roma y demás Imperios; el mas reciente de ellos el Soviético.
Bienaventurados los
que están a salvo de la manipulación, porque de ellos, al menos será
el reino de la verdad terrenal!
Reacciona la calle ante propuestas para combatir el fraude de boletas ausentes

• Irónico que las soluciones se originen donde nació el escándalo de las boleteras
MIAMI, 30 DE AGOSTO DE 2012, NHR.com—Los principales comentarios escuchados durante el día de ayer en la calle eran en referencia al reportaje publicado en el Herald sobre políticos sugiriendo medidas para ponerle coto al problema de las boleteras.El escándalo que todavía no ha concluido con las boletas de ausentes en las elecciones del pasado 14 de agosto, es el mayor que se pueda recordar en la historia de las elecciones en Miami-Dade, y está siendo investigado por autoridades locales, estatales y federales.
Lo que ha llamado la atención sobre el reportaje del diario miamense es que siendo Hialeah la cuna y hogar de las boletaras y los boleteros que todavía están haciendo noticia, que allí estaban las oficinas donde se recogían las boletas y la del alcalde condal Carlos Giménez, que es adonde acudía la boletera Deisy Cabrera, sea precisamente el alcalde de esa ciudad, Carlos Hernández, quien recomienda soluciones para terminar con el fraude de las boletas de votantes ausentes.
En las noticias sobre las elecciones y las boleteras no faltó el llamado “grupito” de Hialeah. Éste incluye desde el comisionado de Miami-Dade, Estevan Bovo, hasta Herman Echevarria; desde el asesor de campaña de Giménez, Al Lorenzo, hasta la concejal Vivian Casals-Muñoz; y desde el propio alcalde de Hialeah, Carlos Hernández, hasta el tio del ex alcalde de esa ciudad, Sergio Robaina.
El comentario mayor se refiere a Carlos Hernández, quien le manifestó al Herald “que si le entregamos el sello de correo ya en la boleta, ellos no tendrían que entregarle el sobre a nadie”. Además, dijo que propone solicitar de la Legislatura estatal que se reviva el sistema anterior que exigía la firma de dos testigos en las boletas de votantes ausentes.
Claro está, no fue esta la única recomendación de políticos publicada en el Herad. Opinaron también Julio Martínez, ex alcalde de Hialeah; Michael Pizzi, alcalde de Miami Lakes; Raúl Martínez, ex alcalde de Hialeah; y la comisionada de Miami-Dade, Rebeca Sosa.
<LRGM: Aquí quiero intercalar una nota mía: La única modificación que se TIENE que hacer en relación de las boletas ausentes es: Enviarle la boleta ausente apersonas que DEMUESTREN que están físicamente incapacitadas para ejercer su derecho al voto. O personas que prueben legalmente que estará ausente del Condado Miami Dade el día de las elecciones. LO DEMAS QUE SE HAGA ES FAVORECER EL FRAUDE. LRGM>
En relación a las propuestas publicadas en el Herald, el sentimiento captado en la calle se inclina a que se deben tomar en serio medidas que le pongan coto también a las molestosas llamadas robóticas por teléfono, además de que en la Legislatura estatal se promulguen leyes que castiguen severamente tanto a quienes andan a la caza de boletas y abusan de las personas de la tercera edad, como a los ladrones de boletas que las extraen de buzones.
Entre las críticas callejeras surgió una muy interesante y es que la señora que la hizo -ya bastante mayor de edad- se refirió a una de las que dicen está entre las boleteras más conocidas de Hialeah: Emelina Llanes, quien precisamente era empleada de la campaña de Carlos Hernández para la alcaldía.
Interesante también fueron las manifestaciones a favor de que las autoridades deberían ser quienes tomen cartas en el asunto, encargándose de que los culpables sean castigados.

• Kathy Fernández Rundle contrató a quien su propia oficina tenía bajo la lupa por fraude electoral
MIAMI, 29 DE AGOSTO DE 2012, NHR.com—Una investigación que lleva a cabo la fiscalía estatal de Miami-Dade y la Comisión Electoral de la Florida podría salpicar a la propia fiscal Kathy Fernández Rundle, ya que su principal asesor político en la campaña que terminó con su reelección el pasado 14 de agosto estaba siendo investigado desde hace un año por esa misma oficina.De acuerdo con la reportera del América TeVe, Erika Carrillo, Alberto Lorenzo estaba siendo investigado por la fiscalía al mismo momento en que era el asesor político en la campaña de Fernández Rundle.
La investigación comenzó a raíz de una denuncia presentada ante la fiscalía el pasado año contra la campaña electoral del entonces alcalde de North Miami Beach, Myron Rosner, quien perdiera su asiento el 17 de mayo del 2011 frente al cubanoamericano George Vallejo. Vallejo obtuvo la victoria final al acumular el 57 por ciento de la votación en elección de segunda vuelta.
Según se conoce, la fiscalía ha interrogado dos veces en los últimos meses al testigo principal del caso, Charlie Safdie, quien trabajaba con Lorenzo en campañas electorales y le dijo a la fiscalía que Lorenzo le pedía parte de sus ganancias en contratos que le conseguía con el alcalde Rosner. “Al Lorenzo me pedía el 50 por ciento de todas las ganancias en esos contratos”, le dijo Sadfie a la reportera Carrillo ante las cámaras de televisión.
De acuerdo con el testigo Safdie, Lorenzo era el asesor político de la campaña del exalcalde, sin embargo su nombre no aparece en los reportes de campaña del entonces alcalde Rosner, desconociéndose cual fue la razón.
El asunto se torna más delicado después que sabiendo la fiscal Fernández Rundle de esta pesquisa por fraude electoral en contra de Lorenzo, ella lo contrata para su campaña. “Estamos concientes de estas alegaciones que involucran al señor Myron Rosner, sin embargo no podemos confirmar o negar cualquier otra información que surjan de esos informes públicos”, estas fueron las declaraciones ofrecidas por la fiscalía a Erika Carrillo.
Rosner, un contratista, ganó las elecciones por primera vez en 2009, pero pocos meses después de su mandato fue definido como un oportunista y criticado por sus detractores, lo que hizo que varios residentes le denunciaran de realizar trabajos de renovación en su casa sin obtener permisos adecuados, acusación que llevó a una investigación por parte de la Junta de Ética de Miami-Dade.

Este operativo se salió de control. El carro en el que viajaba Payá era seguido por dos carros de la seguridad del estado. El Hyundai alquilado tenía ‘técnica’ de escucha. Cinco kilómetros antes del lugar del ‘accidente’, uno de los carros de la seguridad se adelantó al Hyundai haciendo dos maniobras; primero lo tocó por detrás y luego lo rozó en el lado izquierdo. El segundo carro se acerca para que el chofer lo vea por el espejo, para ponerlos nerviosos y no pudiera reaccionar rápidamente en la siguiente fase del ‘operativo’. Payá comienza a grabar con su cámara y la escucha de la ‘técnica’ montada en el carro de Payá graba gritos.
El carro de la seguridad que se adelantó, pasa por el primer entronque a la izquierda (hacia los arrozales) donde estaba el tractor parado, dando la señal para que salga. El tractor sale justo para golpear el Hyundai en el costado izquierdo. La idea era sacarlos de la carretera para justificar un cateo por exceso de velocidad (sembrar ‘evidencias’ y montar un proceso contra Payá y acompañantes); pero el chofer al ver el tractor trata de esquivarlo acelerando, cuando recibe el impacto pierde el control y termina golpeando el arbolito, provocando lesiones a Payá en la cabeza, pero no de muerte y rompiéndole la pierna a Cepero. El segundo carro de la seguridad pasa, despacio y graba el ‘accidente’ (se ve el tractor); se detienen a unos 200 metros y observan… pero como nadie sale del carro, los de la seguridad se acercan y al ver a Payá piensan está muerto y se alejan, llaman por radio (hay una grabación).
A Payá lo montan en un camión, va desmayado y tiene una lesión en la cabeza, matándolo el golpeteo de su cabeza contra el camión, donde estaba tirado. Cepero estaba vivo cuando llega al Hospital, con una fractura en la pierna, ahí no sabemos cómo, pero de alguna forma le ‘inducen’ la muerte, o muere por un coágulo desprendido de la fractura que le provoca una trombosis pulmonar, que tampoco fue atendida, porque lo dejaron tirado solo en una camilla y cuando regresó el médico, como a la media hora, ya estaba muerto.

Hello, I’m Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty. And have I got a story for you. I am President Obama’s college classmate from Columbia University, Class of ’83. And I’ve got a hunch on the scandal that ends Obama’s hopes for a second term. No, it’s not his birth certificate. The scandal that takes down Obama’s Presidency happened 30 years ago at Columbia University. This is the smoking gun.
This also ties into Harry Reid’s hunch about Mitt Romney’s tax records. You see Senator Reid opened up Pandora’s box. He made it OK for any of us to play a guessing game. If Harry can guess about Romney’s taxes, without a shred of evidence… then a citizen and taxpayer and former college classmate of Obama has the standing to do a little educated guessing of my own.
You see my background is one of a kind. I’m one of the most accurate Las Vegas oddsmakers and prognosticators ever. Accurate enough that I was awarded my own star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars – one of 60 legends in the history of Vegas to be honored with a 180 pound granite star in the sidewalk on Las Vegas Blvd. Gut instinct is how I’ve made my living for 29 years since graduating Columbia. My gut is almost always right. I became a self-made millionaire based on my gut instincts. And I smell something rotten in Denmark. Obama has a big skeleton in his closet. And it’s hidden in his college records at Columbia.
But first let’s examine the game being played to distract us from the real scandal. It’s a diversion… subterfuge. I call Obama’s scheme “Weapons of mass distraction.” Obama and his infamous strategist David Axelrod understand how to play dirty political hardball, the best its ever been played. They learned on the vicious, dirty streets of Chicago, where the mob appears downright nice compared to the politicians.
Team Obama has decided to distract America’s voters by condemning Mitt Romney for not releasing enough years of his tax returns. It’s the perfect cover. Obama knows the best defense is a bold offense. Just keep attacking Mitt and blaming him for secrecy and evasion, while accusing him of having a scandal that doesn’t exist. Then ask your lapdog Senator Harry Reid to chase the Frisbee. The U.S. Senate Majority Leader is now making up stories out of thin air, about tax returns he knows absolutely nothing about. It’s a cynical, brilliant and vicious strategy. Make Romney defend, so he can’t go on offense and attack the real Obama scandal.
This is classic Axelrod. Obama has won multiple elections in his career by slandering his opponents and leaking sealed court documents. Not only do these insinuations and leaks ruin the credibility and reputation of Obama’s opponents, they keep them on the defensive and off Obama’s trail of sealed documents. And Obama spends millions to armies of lawyers to keep them sealed.
By attacking Romney’s tax records, Obama’s team of Chicago hit men creates a problem that doesn’t exist. And they even have the U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in their pocket… leading the charge… thereby assuring that the media will cover it and put Romney on the Defensive. The U.S. Senate Majority Leader joins a scheme to defame a squeaky clean opponent with the record of a choir boy. Romney is the guy you want to marry your daughter. Religious. Brilliant. Family man. Never cheated in his life. Harvard Law and Harvard Business. Donates millions to charity. So you get Harry Reid to make up stories out of thin air to frame an innocent man… and you get the biased liberal media to go along with the execution of an innocent man. But the reason for this baseless attack is what is so interesting… such brilliant but disgusting cynical strategy it could only come from Chicago… the point of this deception and distraction is to make Romney defend, so he can’t go on the offensive… to dirty his perfect reputation up… and to give the media something to talk about… something other than the real scandal they should be investigating.
But I have the answer for Romney. A challenge that shuts up Obama forever.
It’s time to call Obama’s bluff. Romney should call a press conference and issue a challenge in front of the Nation. He should agree to release more of his tax returns, only if Obama unseals his college records. Simple and straight-forward. Mitt should ask “What could possibly be so embarrassing in your college records from 30 years ago, that you are afraid to let America’s voters see it? If it’s THAT bad, maybe it’s something the voters ought to see.” Suddenly the tables are turned. Now Obama is on the defensive.
My bet is that Obama will never unseal his records, never… EVER. Because they contain information that could destroy his political career. Once this challenge is made public, my prediction is you’ll never hear about Mitt’s tax returns ever again. End of story.
But why are the college records, of a 51-year-old President of the United States, so important to keep secret? I think I know the answer.
If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political Science majors. But not Obama… or as he was known then, Barry Soetoro. Can you imagine…the President of the United States had a different name 30 years ago. How bizarre is that? You think you know him? You don’t even know his name.
But here’s where the mystery gets really strange. I knew everyone in the political science department. But I never met Obama in my life. Never saw him in my life. Never even heard of him in my entire four years at Columbia. And none of the classmates that I knew at Columbia has ever met him, saw him or heard of him either.
But don’t take my word for it. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2008 that Fox News randomly called 400 of our Columbia classmates and never found one who had ever met Obama.
Now all of this mystery could be easily and instantly dismissed if Obama released his Columbia transcripts to the media. But even after serving as President for 3 1/2 years he refuses to unseal his college records. Shouldn’t the media be as relentless in pursuit of Obama’s records as Romney’s? Shouldn’t they be digging for Obama’s dirt with the same boundless enthusiasm as Mitt’s? Doesn’t something smell rotten here?
So let’s down and dirty to figure out the scandal. The first question I’d ask is, if you had great grades, why would you seal your records? So let’s assume Obama got poor grades. Why not release the records? He’s President of the free world, for gosh sakes. He’s commander-in-chief of the U.S. military. Who’d care about some poor grades from three decades ago, right? So then what’s the problem? Doesn’t that make the media suspicious? Something doesn’t add up.
Secondly, all of Obama’s old classmates and buddies at Occidental say he was a poor student there…spending lots of time smoking pot and attending radical meetings. His grades were awful they say. Again, we can’t prove it because Obama’s records are sealed. So if he had poor grades at Occidental, how did he get admitted to an Ivy League university in the first place? Do you know how hard it is to transfer into an Ivy League university – it’s almost impossible. And if his grades at Columbia were awful, how’d he ever get into Harvard Law School? So again those grades must have been great, right? So why spend millions to keep them sealed?
Third, how did a poor kid pay for all these fancy schools? If he had student loans or scholarships, don’t American students need good grades to maintain student loans?
I can only think of one answer that explains all of these mysteries…
So here’s my gut. I believe Obama got a leg up by being admitted to both Occidental and Columbia as a foreign exchange student. He was raised as a young boy in Indonesia. That’s a fact. His mother made him an Indonesian citizen. But… did his mother ever bother to change him back to a U.S. citizen? I’m betting not. He was abandoned by his mother and sent back to Hawaii to live with his grandparents. No one was paying much attention to young Obama, so his citizenship was never changed back. But suddenly as he nears college-age and starts thinking of how to get into college with lousy grades and no money… Obama learns that foreign students have a much easier path being admitted to U.S. universities. And even more amazingly, they get loads of aid and scholarships to attend college for free – something unavailable to U.S. citizens. That would also explain the great mystery of how in the summer of 1981 Barry Soetoro was able to travel to Pakistan when no U.S. citizen was allowed to travel there. An American couldn’t make that trip…but no problem if you’re an Indonesian citizen using an Indonesian passport?
Of course, here’s the wrinkle…a foreign student isn’t qualified to serve as President of the United States. So that secret had to be sealed and covered up for the rest of all time. In 2007 everything happened so fast no one could even ask questions…ask Hillary! She never imagined Obama could beat her and never did any serious digging. Next thing you know, Obama is President. But with a massive secret threatening his legacy every second of every day. That explains why a sitting President of the United States would spend millions of dollars in legal fees to keep his past sealed.

Hello, I’m Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty. And have I got a story for you. I am President Obama’s college classmate from Columbia University, Class of ’83. And I’ve got a hunch on the scandal that ends Obama’s hopes for a second term. No, it’s not his birth certificate. The scandal that takes down Obama’s Presidency happened 30 years ago at Columbia University. This is the smoking gun.
This also ties into Harry Reid’s hunch about Mitt Romney’s tax records. You see Senator Reid opened up Pandora’s box. He made it OK for any of us to play a guessing game. If Harry can guess about Romney’s taxes, without a shred of evidence… then a citizen and taxpayer and former college classmate of Obama has the standing to do a little educated guessing of my own.
You see my background is one of a kind. I’m one of the most accurate Las Vegas oddsmakers and prognosticators ever. Accurate enough that I was awarded my own star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars – one of 60 legends in the history of Vegas to be honored with a 180 pound granite star in the sidewalk on Las Vegas Blvd. Gut instinct is how I’ve made my living for 29 years since graduating Columbia. My gut is almost always right. I became a self-made millionaire based on my gut instincts. And I smell something rotten in Denmark. Obama has a big skeleton in his closet. And it’s hidden in his college records at Columbia.
But first let’s examine the game being played to distract us from the real scandal. It’s a diversion… subterfuge. I call Obama’s scheme “Weapons of mass distraction.” Obama and his infamous strategist David Axelrod understand how to play dirty political hardball, the best its ever been played. They learned on the vicious, dirty streets of Chicago, where the mob appears downright nice compared to the politicians.
Team Obama has decided to distract America’s voters by condemning Mitt Romney for not releasing enough years of his tax returns. It’s the perfect cover. Obama knows the best defense is a bold offense. Just keep attacking Mitt and blaming him for secrecy and evasion, while accusing him of having a scandal that doesn’t exist. Then ask your lapdog Senator Harry Reid to chase the Frisbee. The U.S. Senate Majority Leader is now making up stories out of thin air, about tax returns he knows absolutely nothing about. It’s a cynical, brilliant and vicious strategy. Make Romney defend, so he can’t go on offense and attack the real Obama scandal.
This is classic Axelrod. Obama has won multiple elections in his career by slandering his opponents and leaking sealed court documents. Not only do these insinuations and leaks ruin the credibility and reputation of Obama’s opponents, they keep them on the defensive and off Obama’s trail of sealed documents. And Obama spends millions to armies of lawyers to keep them sealed.
By attacking Romney’s tax records, Obama’s team of Chicago hit men creates a problem that doesn’t exist. And they even have the U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in their pocket… leading the charge… thereby assuring that the media will cover it and put Romney on the Defensive. The U.S. Senate Majority Leader joins a scheme to defame a squeaky clean opponent with the record of a choir boy. Romney is the guy you want to marry your daughter. Religious. Brilliant. Family man. Never cheated in his life. Harvard Law and Harvard Business. Donates millions to charity. So you get Harry Reid to make up stories out of thin air to frame an innocent man… and you get the biased liberal media to go along with the execution of an innocent man. But the reason for this baseless attack is what is so interesting… such brilliant but disgusting cynical strategy it could only come from Chicago… the point of this deception and distraction is to make Romney defend, so he can’t go on the offensive… to dirty his perfect reputation up… and to give the media something to talk about… something other than the real scandal they should be investigating.
But I have the answer for Romney. A challenge that shuts up Obama forever.
It’s time to call Obama’s bluff. Romney should call a press conference and issue a challenge in front of the Nation. He should agree to release more of his tax returns, only if Obama unseals his college records. Simple and straight-forward. Mitt should ask “What could possibly be so embarrassing in your college records from 30 years ago, that you are afraid to let America’s voters see it? If it’s THAT bad, maybe it’s something the voters ought to see.” Suddenly the tables are turned. Now Obama is on the defensive.
My bet is that Obama will never unseal his records, never… EVER. Because they contain information that could destroy his political career. Once this challenge is made public, my prediction is you’ll never hear about Mitt’s tax returns ever again. End of story.
But why are the college records, of a 51-year-old President of the United States, so important to keep secret? I think I know the answer.
If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political Science majors. But not Obama… or as he was known then, Barry Soetoro. Can you imagine…the President of the United States had a different name 30 years ago. How bizarre is that? You think you know him? You don’t even know his name.
But here’s where the mystery gets really strange. I knew everyone in the political science department. But I never met Obama in my life. Never saw him in my life. Never even heard of him in my entire four years at Columbia. And none of the classmates that I knew at Columbia has ever met him, saw him or heard of him either.
But don’t take my word for it. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2008 that Fox News randomly called 400 of our Columbia classmates and never found one who had ever met Obama.
Now all of this mystery could be easily and instantly dismissed if Obama released his Columbia transcripts to the media. But even after serving as President for 3 1/2 years he refuses to unseal his college records. Shouldn’t the media be as relentless in pursuit of Obama’s records as Romney’s? Shouldn’t they be digging for Obama’s dirt with the same boundless enthusiasm as Mitt’s? Doesn’t something smell rotten here?
So let’s down and dirty to figure out the scandal. The first question I’d ask is, if you had great grades, why would you seal your records? So let’s assume Obama got poor grades. Why not release the records? He’s President of the free world, for gosh sakes. He’s commander-in-chief of the U.S. military. Who’d care about some poor grades from three decades ago, right? So then what’s the problem? Doesn’t that make the media suspicious? Something doesn’t add up.
Secondly, all of Obama’s old classmates and buddies at Occidental say he was a poor student there…spending lots of time smoking pot and attending radical meetings. His grades were awful they say. Again, we can’t prove it because Obama’s records are sealed. So if he had poor grades at Occidental, how did he get admitted to an Ivy League university in the first place? Do you know how hard it is to transfer into an Ivy League university – it’s almost impossible. And if his grades at Columbia were awful, how’d he ever get into Harvard Law School? So again those grades must have been great, right? So why spend millions to keep them sealed?
Third, how did a poor kid pay for all these fancy schools? If he had student loans or scholarships, don’t American students need good grades to maintain student loans?
I can only think of one answer that explains all of these mysteries…
