El
principal problema de Obama es que ha sido el único candidato permanente en
la historia, después de ser electo dos veces. Obama siempre se ha
comportado como un candidato.
Sus dos
términos han sido una sucesión de promesas incumplidas y justificaciones
atacando a sus opositores. Su entorno lo protege como a un
candidato, no como a un mandatario con las obligaciones que el cargo
requiere.
Este martes
anunció un plan para dejar sólo 9 mil 800 soldados estadounidenses en
Afganistán tras la retirada formal de las tropas a fin de año y
evacuarlos a fines del 2016,
Lo único
que le faltó fue informar al enemigo de los puntos importantes donde
quedarían situadas estas tropas, para facilitarle su ataque.
El quiere
cumplir la gestión de terminar la guerra en el 2016, a toda costa, antes de
completar su mandato, porque eso es parte de su agenda y no le
importa las consecuencias al país.
Volveremos
a tener la cueva de los talibanes que produjeron el funesto 11 de Septiembre.
Los
esforzados avances conseguidos contra los talibanes podrían perderse, del
mismo modo que la violencia sectaria retornó a Irak tras el retiro de Estados
Unidos, Para finales del 2016, la presencia estadounidense se limitará a la
presencia normal de personal diplomático, como ha ocurrido en Irak.
Y veremos
de nuevo una guerra civil eterna y el resurgimiento de los campamentos de los
militantes que planean atacar a los Estados Unidos.
Una
presencia militar de 20 o 30 mil soldados existe en países de Europa
normalmente.
Este retiro
no es conveniente ni necesario, es algo cosmético, es para dar una
visibilidad política al eterno candidato Obama.
El fondo de
la cuestión es que Obama no está corriendo para presidente de los Estados
Unidos, está corriendo para ser el presidente histórico que comenzó la
socialización de los Estados Unidos y el final de la hegemonía americana como
líder mundial.

Goes Down the Drain
We hear a lot about shale oil. We heard a lot about
the Monterrey discovery. It was huge. It was billions of barrels.
It just got downgraded by 96%. Poof!
Here is the story from Chris Martenson.
Just today, we learned that the EIA has
placed a hefty downward revision on its estimate of the amount of recoverable
oil in the #1 shale reserve in the US, the Monterey in California. . . .
Yes, you read that right: 96% lower. As
in only 4% of the original estimate is now thought to be
technically-recoverable at today’s prices:

The Energy Information Administration
slashed its estimate of recoverable reserves from California’s Monterey Shale
by 96 percent, saying oil from the largest U.S. formation will be harder to
extract than previously anticipated.
“Not all reserves are created equal,”
EIA Administrator Adam Sieminski told reporters at the Financial Times and
Energy Intelligence Oil & Gas Summit in New York today. “It just turned
out it’s harder to frack that reserve and get it out of the ground.”
The Monterey Shale is now estimated to hold 600 million barrels of
recoverable oil, down from a 2012 projection of 13.7 billion barrels, John
Staub, a liquid fuels analyst for the EIA, said in a phone interview. A 2013
study by the University of Southern California’s Global Energy Network,
funded in part by industry group Western States Petroleum Association, found
that developing the state’s oil resources may add as many as 2.8 million jobs
and as much as $24.6 billion in tax revenues.
From 13.7 billion barrels down to 600
million. Using a little math, that means the hoped for 2.8 million jobs
become 112k and the $24.6 billion in tax revenues shrink to $984 million.
The reasons why are no surprise to my
readers, as over the years we’ve covered the reasons why the Monterey was
likely to be a bust compared to other formations. Those reasons are mainly
centered on the fact that underground geology is complex, that each shale
formation has its own sets of surprises, and that the geologically-molested
(from millennia of tectonic folding and grinding) Monterey formation was very
unlikely to yield its treasures as willingly as, say, the Bakken or Eagle
Ford.
But even I was surprised by the extent
of the downgrade.
This takes the Monterey from one of the
world’s largest potential fields to a play that, if all 600 million barrels
thought to be there were brought to the surface all at once, would supply the
US’ oil needs for a mere 33 days.

We all know about the memory hole. That was the unofficial
name of a department of government in George Orwell’s novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four.
It was devoted to re-writing history. It destroyed historical documents to
make this re-writing easier. This was its motto: “He who controls the past
controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.”
Orwell used the Soviet Union as his model. The USSR
was famous for using photo editing techniques to remove past leaders from old
photos. These people became non-persons. Photoshop is simply a low-cost tool
for modern media organizations to do similar sorts of things. They do it to
sell more products. The USSR did it to maintain power.
These techniques are still being used inside what
Mrs. Clinton calls the vast Right-wing conspiracy. Today’s leaders want to
erase all traces of the earlier leaders.
Why? Because the time-servers who collect their
salaries are nonentities. They do not want to be compared to the founders.
They do not want the evidence of decline available for all to see. Max Weber
had a phrase for this almost a century ago: the routinization of charisma.
The bureaucrats inherit the earth.
PRESERVING
THE PAST
One of the saddest aspects in the history of the
post-World War II conservative movement is the fact that it is almost
impossible to trace its history at the grass roots level.
Part of this problem is this: the little
organizations used mimeograph machines to publish their message. This was a
shoestring movement until at least the mid-1950′s. These materials were
tossed out by survivors after the blue-haired ladies died. These women
collected newspaper clippings, scoured the Congressional Record, published their newsletters,
and had meetings. They left few traces.
The newsletters have disappeared. Think of the Dan Smoot Report.
Think of the early years of Human Events. Think of Hilaire DuBarrier’s HduB Report. Think
of Don Bell Report.
They are gone with the wind.
I have a complete set of the HduB Report on a CD-ROM. I do not think it is
possible to trace the history of the European Union without reading these
reports. But they are not online. I do not know who owns the copyrights.
Neither does the man who created the CD-ROM.
To construct the history of the conservative
movement, the various organizations that published newsletters, magazines,
and books should go into their files, send them to a specialist in producing
searchable PDF’s, and then post all of that information online free of
charge. This is the minimal commitment necessary to keep old ideas alive.
If an organization has spent decades asking for
donations from its supporters in order to get out the message, and then it
suppresses or ignores that message through the 80% of the history of the
organization, then something is fundamentally wrong with the thinking of the
present directors. Any organization that raises money for years to publish
the true word, and then decides to deep-six the true word, has abandoned the
true word.
All of that money was raised, all of that enthusiasm
was generated, all of that information was published, yet the organization’s
present salaried directors decide that it’s not worth preserving online free
of charge.
Something is deeply wrong with any idea-based
organization that does not post its entire body of published materials
online.
I cannot imagine any ideological organization’s
senior staff this shortsighted, yet I know it’s the case. I have seen it over
and over. There is simply no strong commitment to preserving the legacy of
the organization. The present directors implicitly dismiss all of the work of
the previous directors, as if all that money, all those ideas, all that
effort in publishing the material was not really worth it. It is as if all of
this material is worthless today. The senior directors of the organization
have self-consciously made a decision not to preserve this information for
the present members of the organization.
I’m thinking of a particular organization. Let’s see
if you can figure this out. It has been around for over 50 years. It
published a great deal of material. It published a magazine every month. It
published newsletters from the organization’s senior director. It raised
money for years to try to get this information out to the public. It was one
of the fundamental organizations in the history of the conservative movement.
But its present directors have refused for over 15 years to put this
information online.

He had 19 years of service and experience, and was considered one of
themost highly qualified military instructors on Radical Islam & Terrorism.

they would encounter, how to react, about Islamic culture, traditions, and explained the mindset of Islamic extremists.
Passing down firsthand knowledge and experience, and teaching courses that were suggested (and approved)
by the Joint Forces Staff College .
The course, "Perspectives on Islam and
Islamic Radicalism", which was suggested and approved by the Joint Forces Staff College ,
caught the attention of several Islamic Groups, and they wanted to make an example of him.
They collectively wrote a letter expressing their outrage, and the
Pro-IslamicObama Administration was all too happy to assist.
The letter was passed to Chairman of the Joint
Chiefs of Staff, Martin Dempsey. Dempsey publicly degraded and reprimanded Dooley,
and Dooley received a negative Officer Evaluation Report almost immediately (which he had aced for the past 5
years).
He was relieved of teaching duties, and his career
has been red-flagged.He had a brilliant career ahead of him. Now, he has
been flagged.

no other reason than they are great American military citizens."

Quiero con mucho gusto en pocas palabras responder a sus ultimos
mensajes.
En primer lugar soy un profundo defensor de La Constitucion de
Los Estados Unidos.
El derecho de los ciudadanos a tener armas de fuego es un
derecho constitucional.
Yo personalmente tengo un rifle y una pistola. Esto en cierta
forma me da cierta confianza de que podre, dada la necesidad, defender mi
vida, la vida de mi familia y vecinos.
Creo que lo que si se debe hacer es sacar de las manos de los
ladrones y anormales las armas de fuego.
Ninguna persona decente usa un arma de fuego para atacar a un
ciudadano indefenso, todo lo contrario, nosotros estamos mas que dispuestos a
defender a los ciudadanos que no tienen con que defenderse de los
delincuentes, o de un gobierno dictatoriar y arbitrario que quiera abolir los
derechos y las leyes constitucionales. Y hasta estamos en disposicion de
ayudar a la policia si ellos lo entienden necesario para restablecer el orden
y la justicia si es necesario.
Deseo que nunca ocurra pero usted tambien esta en el expectro de
las personas que estamos en disposicion de proteger si es que lo necesiten
estar protegido por nosotros y por la segunda enmienda.
No le pido que cambie de opinion porque tusted tiene derecho a
tenerla pero nosotros estamos dentro de la ley y nuestra intencion es la de
servir a nuestra nacion americana dando lo que mas apreciamos, nuestra propia

querido amigo Jorge, tus observaciones son muy reales, pero tenemos que
seguir insistiendo, pero lo debemos hacer todos, fijate que yo llevo basante
tiempo publicando mis articulos sobre este tema, del "Control
de las ventas de Balas y sus accesorios" y nadie, pero nadie ha
hecho ni un solo comentario, no hubo eco en la Prensa escrita, radial ni
televisiba, incluso a quienes yo les envio mis articulos, que
son mas de 200 E'mail, todo el mundo se ha cuidado de opinar,
realmente existe temor, por eso no hay respaldo. desgraciadamente.
Pero hay que ser perseverante, por eso saque el tema nuevamente a la luz publica, pero ninguno de los elegidos, Gobernadore, Alcaldes, Comisionados, incluso, Presidentes de nuestro gobierno, tanto de las ciudades, Municipios, Condal, Estatal, ni Fderal han dicho ni una palabra, siguen con la rutina de las Armas, las cuales no sirven si no tienen BALAS, pero se hacen los ciegos para no leer y los sordos para no oir, pero siempre tienen las manos abiertas para recibir Pregunto; Quien le suministra las Balas a las FARC, a la ETA, a ESBOLA y demas organizaciones terroristas en los diferetenes Paises..? Amigo Armando......Todo esto comienza y termina en la
NRA, la Asosciacion Nacional del Rifle...estan decididos a comprar hasta su
propia madre con tal de seguir vendiendo armas y balas......creo que ganan
mas que los carros que vende la GM.....Mira a ver las estadisticas que dicen
sobre eso.....te sorprendera los miles de milllones que les deja ese
negocio.....y con plata baila el mono....los politicos no salen ni son
reelectos si no es a base de plata....el ejercito de cabilderos mas
grande tengo entendido es el de ellos...le sigue el farmaceutico,,,el
petrolero es otro....Miami nunca tendra las guaguas que necesita la poblacion
pobre.....aqui estamos como los guajiros en Cua...si no tiene un caballo no
vale un kilo....solo ver los comerciales te da una idea...por cada 10
anuncios en la TV y los demas medios, 8 son de carros....cuentalo para que
veas....

pantalones bien puestos....en mi opinion lo han habido buenos como Regan y

estan señalando la necesidad de aumentar las exigencies para
comprar o adquirir armas de fuego, lo cual afirmo que esto es necesario,
pero como digo en este articulo, mucho mas importante es aumentar
sustancialmente el control para vender las BALAS, o sea limitar
sustancialmente a quien se les venden las BALAS, incluyendo la
polvora, el plomo y muy importante los casquillos, donde se pone la
polvora y el plomo.
Desgraciadamente nadie se ha hecho eco, de esta importante medida para controla rigidamente la venta de las BALAS, quizas como mas rigor que la venta de ARMAS, ni la Prensa escrita, radial y la TV, ni siquiera nuestros colegas del CNP y de la UCP. Dios quiera que los responsables de los gobiernos, de las ciudades donde estan las fabricas de balas, asi como en las ciudades donde estan situados los almacenes y tiendas distribuIidoras al por menor de estos proyectioes, le sean exigidos los controles correspondiente, para conocer a quien se les pueden o no vender BALAS. Iinsisto ademas de hablar del control de las ventas de las armas, mucho mas importante es el control de las ventas de las BALAS. No se la razon, de omitir los comentarios sobre la inmensa necesidad de controla la venta de las BALAS. SERA QUE LOS INTERESES SON MAS IMPORTANTES Y TIENEN MAS INFLUENCIA, QUE LA VIDA DE LOS SERES HUMANOS.??

iniciar este articulo con un comentario del Sr. Eduardo Galeano; Los Paises
que mas armas vnden al mundo, son los mismos paises que tienen a su cargo
"La Paz Mundial', o sea EEUU, Rusia, Francia e Inglaterra, son los
paises que tienen derecho al Veto en el Consejo de Seguridad, de la ONU.
Por lo tanto debian llamarle el Consejo de Inseguridad.
Repito; "Mientras vendan balas, no Habra Paz".-Este ha sido un tema Tabú, quizas por los grandes intereses, no se ha comentado que yo sepa por nadie , ese articulo del Titulo, realmente se han entregao muchas armas por las personas honestas, que la utilizaban para su defense, sin embargo estamos seguros que los delincuentes y los que tienenproblmas de psicosis, ls tienen bienguardada y sus armas las estan usando casi a diario, desgraciadamente. No hay duda que para que todas las armas, tanto las nacionales como las que existen en el extranjero, no funcionarian si no les vendieran las balas, tanto por los productores, como por los vendedores y solo se Deben vender bajo un control estricto y exigencia de las correspondientes gantias de que serian usadas para defender la paz o la defena personal. Es possible que tambien argumenten que los malos, comienzaran a fabricar las maleficas balas, como esta sucediento con algunos terroristas, y en muchos paises, pues entonces, se debe controlar ademas la venta de los Fulminantes, la Polvora, el Plomo y de los Caquillos necesarios para la fabricacion de tan mortales instrumentos de muerte. Que harian los grupos terrorisas, si estos si todos estos productos de muerte fueran totalmente controlados.? Pues que las armas no les serviran de nada.....! Yo pregunto=Por que no se se toman estas humanitarias medidas? Sera que es mas importante para los gobiernos y para los intereses de los fabricantes y negociantes , el continuar facilitandoles la venta tanto de las armas, como las balas, que terminan con la vida de miles de personas inocentes que matan diariamente por las guerras intestinas, entre los paises y por las guerrillas terroristas, no seria mejor utilizar esos millones de dolares que se gastan en fabricarlas y transportarlas, ademas, en combatirlas que se inviertieran en construir viviendas para eleiminar el Desempleo y que tambien participen en su construccion, las familis pobres.
