AMEMPER: En defensa de la Vejez

Según la Organización de las Naciones
Unidas, se ha calculado que entre el año 2000 y el 2050 la esperanza de vida
mundial aumentará de 65 a 75 años. De hecho, una
publicación de la Academia Médica de
Harvard, revela que cuantos más años vive una persona, mayor es su esperanza de
vida, pues ya ha pasado algunos de los peligros de las generaciones más
jóvenes, como la mortalidad infantil, o la muerte por razones de
violencia o accidentes de tráfico, por eso
vemos que la cantidad de personas que no sólo llegan a los 75 años pero que
viven hasta los ochenta y noventa años aumenta con el tiempo. En la primera
mitad del siglo XX, el porcentaje mundial de jóvenes y ancianos estaba
prácticamente igualado. En los próximos cincuenta años, las estimaciones
apuntan a que la población mundial de más de 60 años aumentará del 10% al 21%,
mientras que la proporción de menores de 14 años disminuirá del 30% al 20%, y
la población juvenil del 18% al 14% de la totalidad mundial.
En otras palabras, en los países
desarrollados una persona de cada tres será mayor de 65 años.
¿Es esto malo? Bueno depende del punto de vista.
En los países orientales donde se reconoce
el valor intelectual de las personas mayores por los conocimientos adquiridos
en el vivir diario a través de los años, y que se considera que el aprendizaje
del ganar y perder, sólo se adquiere en la experiencia del vivir, esto es
bueno.
En la cultura moderna occidental donde se
ha dado un valor de capacidad mental aumentado por la juventud y se ha
determinado que la vejez trae con el deterioro físico el deterioro mental, y
que los viejos son una carga para la sociedad, esto es una mala noticia.
Esta cultura también nos ha traído
candidatos a la primera magistratura de la nación a jóvenes porque se supone
que la juventud tiene más capacidad, y nos gastamos el presidente más joven,
menos convencional y con menos experiencia que hubiéramos podido
escoger.
Los resultados no los voy a exponer aquí,
se los dejo a su experiencia adquirida en su camino de su vida durante los
pasados seis años. Espero
que esa experiencia los ayude a escoger al próximo presidente.
Es mi pensar que la inteligencia es un
factor predominante para realizar las labores de una posición, la acumulación
de la experiencia es el otro factor que complementa a la realización de esta
labor. Ninguno de esos dos factores tiene nada que ver con la edad sólo por el
individuo. Hay
jóvenes brutos y sin
experiencia y hay viejos brutos y sin experiencia a pesar de los años
vividos. Por el
otro lado la inteligencia del joven se mantiene regularmente hasta la vejez si
no hay trastornos físicos. Pero la
experiencia sólo se adquiere con los años.
Con el aumento de la esperanza de vida,
desde los años cincuenta se han venido estudiando e investigando sobre la población de la
tercera edad y su situación dentro de las sociedades actuales.
Los avances de las neurociencias,
relacionados con los procesos cognitivos y de aprendizaje en los sesenta,
permitieron posteriores investigaciones en disciplinas como la medicina, la
psicología o la pedagogía. Estos avances han posibilitado importantes revisiones
sobre conceptos anteriores, como la supuesta incapacidad del aprendizaje a
partir de una determinada edad, el declive de la inteligencia, o la importancia
del envejecimiento psicológico en las capacidades de los aprendientes
mayores. El aprendizaje en la tercera edad se empezó a
considerar científicamente en los años 70, cuando desaparece la formación permanente y se da paso
a la educación permanente y
el aprendizaje a lo largo de toda la vida
La mayoría de los que están leyendo este E
Mail son mayores de 65 años, con algunas excepciones, están usando la
cibernética para expandir los conocimientos que ya han adquirido a través de los años, no han dejado de vivir por su
edad.
El estereotipo con que nos tropezamos en
la sociedad, y en nuestra comunidad, del viejo que no sabe andar en una computadora,
no sabe usar el IPad o no sabe hablar inglés, está tan exagerado cómo está en
la sociedad en general el considerar una persona mayor como de una
intelectualidad inferior.
Cómo en todo prejuicio, el juicio es
causado por minorías, los viejos que envejecen a los cincuenta, ya sea por
problemas físicos o mentales, y crean una percepción de la vejez que no es la
real.
En las sociedades occidentales modernas,
donde el culto a la belleza etérea y a lo considerado reciente y lozano está la
orden del día, la ancianidad se sigue viendo como una etapa de decadencia y
marchitez, temida por las generaciones anteriores, frente a lo cual sus
miembros se ven rechazados, con retiros forzados o inducidos a temprana edad.
Quizás por eso la intelectualidad decrece
en vez de crecer en las artes y la economía, lo vemos bajar de calidad, y lo
que crece son las industrias y la ciencia, donde el valor del conocimiento del
científico no se mide por la edad.
En la era del presente, de lo fresco y lo
que no dura, la vejez parece haber sido privada de su protagonismo y dotada de
nuevos significados relacionados con el abandono de la importancia social y la
actividad. La sociedad del cambio parece querer pasar por alto su relación con
el pasado.
Pero hay que recordar lo que es la vida,
los adultos mayores comprenden un grupo de población sumamente heterogéneo,
fruto de diversas experiencias y trayectorias vitales, y difíciles de
homogeneizar en cuanto a características, situaciones sociales o necesidades
educativas específicas; aparecen, por
tanto, diversidades en el campo educativo referidas a formas de evaluación,
programas de integración o segregación, consideraciones en edades de comienzo y
finalización de estudios, motivaciones, intereses o utilidad posterior de los
conocimientos aprendidos.
El intercambio entre generaciones y la estabilidad sustentada por los saberes del
pasado y la historia de los pueblos es como un libro de historia viviente que
ofrecen los viejos a las nuevas generaciones.
Paradójicamente, la dependencia externa
aumenta, así como el valor de la aceptación social y el reconocimiento
personal, que se basa en ser considerado y sentirse miembro de una sociedad, y
es paradójico el cómo en la sociedad occidental este reconocimiento es negado.
Estaba oyendo en el radio de mi auto a
Felo Ramírez, el locutor deportivo cubano. Felo tiene, creo que noventa años. Cuando narra los juegos de pelota, nos regala el valor
de décadas de conocimiento sobre el deporte. Pero vemos que algunos critican los errores mentales
de Felo, cuando nos dice que Gordon está en primera base cuando es Yelich, y
uno es un blanco alto y el otro un negro bajito. Esos lapsos mentales no son criticados si el locutor
es joven, y el torrente de información que nos ofrece Felo, vale más que sus
posibles errores.
Despreciar el valor de Felo, cesantear a
Felo, es privarnos de ese pedazo de historia que él nos ofrece, pero eso es lo
que generalmente ocurre en el mundo moderno.
A continuación les voy a copiar lo que veo
en un escrito sobre la edad del hombre:
⋅ Infancia o niñez, de 0 a 15 años.
⋅ Juventud, de 15 a 30 años.
⋅ Madurez o adultez, de 30 a 45 años.
⋅ Pre-senilidad, de 45 a 60 años.
⋅ Senilidad intermedia, de 60 a 70 años.
⋅ Senilidad, vejez o ancianidad, de 70 a 80 años.
⋅ Longevidad senil, más de 80 años.
Dr. Lladó Bustamante, M. (1990).
Este longevo senil que les está
escribiendo les dice que la senilidad también ocurre en la juventud, porque en
mis longevos años he visto jóvenes seniles y viejos que no lo son.
No conozco al tal Dr, Lladó Bustamante,
que hizo esta clasificación, me imagino que no tiene nada que ver con el
amigo Dr. Luis
Bustamante, que está leyendo esto. Pero me imagino que por lo absurdo de esta
generalización el Dr. Lladó Bustamante es sin lugar a dudas un senil de 20
años, no importa la edad cronológica que tenga.
AMEMPER: CNN enseña sus colores
La decisión empecinada de la cadena CNN de no incluir a Carly Florina,
en los debates de los candidatos republicanos, enseña los motivos ulteriores de
esta emisora para justificar su política partidista.
Carly Fiorina está por arriba en las encuestas de otros candidatos que
CNN ha seleccionado, pero no es conveniente para la agenda de CNN el presentar
a Carly Fiorina en el debate.
Los comentaristas de CNN repiten la consigna de que el partido
Republicano es el enemigo de los negros, hispanos y las mujeres, a los que les
han declarado la guerra, según ellos.
No les queda más remedio de presentar cómo candidato a Ben Carson, que
se perfila como puntero, y que es un negro por todos los estereotipos de esa
raza, un negro descendiente de esclavos, criado en la pobreza, por una madre
soltera en el gueto.
No les queda más remedio que presentar a Marco Rubio y Ted Cruz,
primera generación de padres Cubanos, ahora tendrían que presentar a Carly
Fiorina, estas llamadas minorías no sólo son candidatos del partido
Republicano, pero han adquirido una posición destacada en las encuestas entre
los miembros del partido supuestamente racista.
Poner también a una mujer, sería demasiado, sus oyentes tendrían que
razonar que hay algo que no se ajusta a lo que los comentaristas le habían
dicho de la guerra de los republicanos contra negros, hispanos y mujeres.
Se darían cuenta de que los ataques de los republicanos son hacia las
militancias izquierdistas que hablan a nombre de géneros, razas y origen
nacional sin tener la autoridad para representarlos, que simplemente
representan a grupos radicales izquierdistas, que no necesariamente son la voz
de todos los individuos que dicen representar.
Hay todo tipo de negros, y Ben Carson es la evidencia, hay todo tipo
de mujeres, y Carly Fiorina es la evidencia. En el caso del hispano
es todavía más aberrante, porque realmente no hay tal cosa como la raza
hispana. El grupo comunista de LA RAZA, no representa a todos los
que hablamos español, porque somos de diferentes razas, los hay blancos,
negros, mestizos, indios y orientales. No existe una raza hispana, cómo no
existe una persuasión política homogénea, no existe una religión ni unos
valores morales establecidos como identidad entre todos los que hablamos
español.
Las discusiones políticas entre el socialismo y la economía de
mercado, la inmigración legal e ilegal, hasta la música preferida es personal y
no tiene nada que ver con la identidad del individuo porque hablen una lengua
en particular, o tenga un color de la piel diferente, esto es lo característico
y lo tradicionalmente reconocido por del pueblo americano, por es una nación
excepcional.
Esto lo podrían reconocer los que oigan los debates, este es un país
de inmigrantes de todas las razas que se han fundido en un crisol de la
identidad americana, y que dentro de este crisol ha mantenido una
individualidad y responsabilidad ciudadana, de eso se trata la democracia
representativa, no sólo no son los Estados Unidos un país de un solo partido
como lo son los ´países comunistas, pero en el debate se podría ver la completa
diversidad de los candidatos, que son muchos y variados.
Se podría ver que la guerra no es contra personas de una raza, un
género o un origen nacional, que la guerra es contra los que están tratando de
destruir el sistema que ha creado una nación que es el faro de la democracia y
la libertad en el mundo.
Racistas son los que nos quieren separar por "razas" para
avanzar la lucha de clases.
Esto es algo que pondría a pensar a los que han sido incrustados en la
mentalidad socialista con la complicidad de medios de comunicación cómo
CNN.
Para establecer la lucha de clases marxista, lo primero que hay que
hacer es separar a la personas por clases.
Después poner a pelear a una clase contra otras para terminar creando
con la nueva clase, la nueva élite, la clase dirigente del partido único, el
partido comunista.
El sistema fue bien determinado por Marx, y sus simpatizantes lo
conocen y lo tratan de implementar, cualquier desviación es evitada, por eso
una mujer no es bien recibida en el debate de CNN-

y Barack Hussein Obama
El neurocirujano Ben Carson ha emergido como un importante candidato
presidencial republicano en Iowa y se está acercando a Donald Trump en Iowa el
estado de la vanguardia sede del concurso votación de la
primera nominación.
La última encuesta del Des Moines Register de Iowa muestra al
multimillonario Trump con el apoyo del 23 por ciento de probabilidades de republicano
los participantes del cónclave, seguido por Carson con el 18 por ciento.
Cuando se combinan las opciones de primeras y segunda, Carson está
empatado con Trump.
En las primarias republicanas de 2008 y 2012, los conservadores
cristianos se decidieron tarde en la carrera pero ayudaron a determinar el
resultado en Iowa.
Mientras que algunos de sus líderes han expresado su escepticismo
sobre la posibilidad de unificarse detrás de un candidato en una carrera tan
llena de gente, hay una abertura para un conservador el ganar su apoyo y sin

y nunca ha tenido que pasar las necesidades de la pobreza.
La identificación de muchos de los negros que no están de acuerdo con
el aborto y el matrimonio homosexual, algo no percibido cómo correcto en este
grupo racial, se debe a la infatuación de tener un presidente con un color de
la piel parecido al de ellos, aunque sin lugar a dudas Obama no tiene nada en
común con el típico negro americano, sólo ha usado su negrura para avanzar una
agenda de división conveniente para su objetivo socialista-
Obama se puede considerar como aquellos que se pintaban de negro para
presentarse en los carnavales de Minstrels.
De hecho Carson se pudiera percibir cómo el primer presidente negro de
los Estados Unidos.
A su vez la historia de Carson que de la extrema pobreza se superó
profesionalmente y económicamente hasta ser posiblemente el más
destacado neurocirujano de la nación, sería un ejemplo no sólo para la
comunidad negra que podría ver cómo dentro del sistema se pueden superar, pero
sería un ejemplo de la realización del sueño americano para el mundo.
Los conservadores cristianos, que representan casi el 40 por ciento de
los participantes probablemente pueden empezar a
aglutinarse alrededor del ex director de neurocirugía pediátrica en el Johns
Hopkins que tendría el apoyo de los conservadores y moderados dentro del
partido y en las elecciones generales podría lograr el voto de los negros no
militantes.
"Trump y Carson, uno grandilocuente y el otro a veces tímido, no
podrían ser más diferentes en sus presentaciones" dijo J. Ann
Selzer, Presidente de Des Moines Selzer & Co., que llevó a cabo la
encuesta. "Sin embargo ellos ambos están ganando tracción porque no se
parecen a los políticos tradicionales y existe una fuerte demanda para esto
ahora."
Si Ben Carson logra aglutinar el voto de los conservadores en la
primaria, los votos sumados de los conservadores a otros candidatos de esa
persuasión irían hacia él, y los números determinan que podría lograr la
nominación sobre Trump.
Con la baja de Scott Walker, víctima principal de la emergencia de
Trump, Ted Cruz y Carly Fiorina serían otra opción conservadora, pero la
ocasión en este momento se está inclinando hacia Carson, aunque hay mucho
camino que recorrer.
Les
estoy pasando una copia del editorial del New York Sun sobre la decisión de
quitarle el nombre a la montaña del presidente McKinley para ponerle el nombre
indio, digo nativo americano, de Denali.
Estas políticas políticamente
correctas no sé hasta dónde nos van a llevar. Bueno, según
Wikipedia, Washington estaba originalmente habitada por aborígenes que hablaban
un idioma que se llamaba Algonquian, y la tribu y el lugar era conocido como
Nacotchtank.
Creo que lo políticamente correcto es
que Obama decrete quitarle el nombre del presidente Washington que al fin y al
cabo era un blanco esclavista, y poner el nombre de Nacotchtank a la capital, y
de paso cambiarle el nombre a la Casa Blanca y le puede poner el nombre Wigham
que era el nombre de estos nativos le ponían a sus chozas y podía mudarse al
Wigham, pero bueno no creo que eso se posible porque ya ellos se han
acostumbrado a vivir en el “Ham”

Este año el cambio se hizo por

nombre de Idlewild, cual es el nombre que nos nativos neoyorquinos usaban para
el aeropuerto (Idlewild sigue siendo una referencia autorizada para el
aeropuerto de los "reporteros manual y Manual de estilo del New York
sol").
Pudimos ver la lógica de en una época
de híper-sensibilidad a los sentimientos locales.
Pero el objeto del asunto es el hecho
de que un Presidente simplemente renombrara la montaña después de que el
Congreso había sido pedido y decidió no actuar.
En cualquier caso, nos planteamos un
saludo a Wm. McKinley. Desde su porche delantero en 1896, él funcionó una de
las campañas más notables en la historia estadounidense, derrotando al
demócrata, William Jennings Bryan, que funcionó para la acuñación libre de

Democracies that trade substance for
charisma don’t last. Trump is America’s answer to Hugo Chávez.

If by now you don’t find Donald Trump
appalling, you’re appalling.
If you have reached physical maturity
and still chuckle at Mr. Trump’s pubescent jokes about Rosie O’Donnell or Heidi
Klum, you will never reach mental maturity. If you watched Mr. Trump mock
fellow candidate Lindsey Graham’s low poll numbers and didn’t cringe at the lack
of class, you are incapable of class. If you think we need to build new
airports in Queens the way they build them in Qatar, you should be sent to join
the millions of forced laborers who do construction in the Persian Gulf. It
would serve you right.
Since Mr. Trump joined the GOP
presidential field and leaped to the top of the polls, several views have been
offered to explain his popularity. He conveys a can-do image. He is the
bluntest of the candidates in addressing public fears of cultural and economic
dislocation. He toes no line, serves no PAC, abides no ideology, is beholden to
no man. He addresses the broad disgust of everyday Americans with their failed
political establishment.
And so forth and so on—a parade of
semi-sophisticated theories that act as bathroom deodorizer to mask the stench
of this candidacy. Mr. Trump is a loudmouth vulgarian appealing to quieter
vulgarians. These vulgarians comprise a significant percentage of the GOP base.
The leader isn’t the problem. The people are. It takes the demos to make the
demagogue.
There will be other opportunities to
write about the radical affinities and moralizing conceits of Democrats and
liberals. For now let’s speak plainly about what the Trump ascendancy says
about the potential future of the Republican Party and the conservative
movement.
It says that we may soon have a
conservative movement in which the American creed of “give us your tired, your
poor” could yield to the Trumpian creed that America must not become a “dumping
ground” to poor immigrants from Latin America, as if these millions of
hardworking and God-fearing people are a specimen of garbage.
It says that a party that carries on
about the importance of e pluribus unum and rails against the identity politics
of assorted minorities is increasingly tempted to indulge the paranoid (and
losing) identity politics of a dwindling white majority.
It says that a sizable constituency in a
party that is supposed to favor a plain reading of the Constitution objects to
a plain reading of the 14th Amendment: “All persons born or naturalized in the
United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the
United States and of the state wherein they reside.”
It says that a movement that is supposed
to believe in defending old-fashioned values and traditions against the
assorted degradations of the postmodern left might allow itself to be led by a
reality-TV star whose meretricious tastes in trophies, architectural and
otherwise, mainly remind me of the aesthetics of Bob Guccione.
It says that a party that is supposed to
believe in the incomparable awesomeness of America thinks we are losing the
economic hunger games to the brilliant political leadership of . . . Mexico. It
says that a movement that is supposed to believe in economic freedom doesn’t
believe in the essence of economic freedom: to wit, the free movement of goods,
services, capital and labor.
It says that many of the same people who
have bellyached nonstop for the past seven years about the cult-of-personality
president currently in the Oval Office are seriously willing to consider
another cult-of-personality figure on the off-chance he’s peddling the cure
America needs. Focus group testing by pollster Frank Luntz suggests that Mr.
Trump’s fans could care less about his flip-flopping political views but
responded almost rapturously to his apparently magnetic persona.
When people become indifferent to the
ideas of their would-be leaders, those leaders become prone to dangerous ideas.
Democracies that trade policy substance for personal charisma tend not to last
as democracies. They become Bolivarian republics. Donald Trump may be America’s
Hugo Chávez, minus the political consistency.
Because the Republican Party has not
lost its mind—at least not yet—I doubt that Mr. Trump will be its presidential
nominee. A single bad poll could break him. The summer before an election-year
summer tends to be a political clown-time. Voters, like diners in a fancy
restaurant, may entertain the idea of ordering the pigeon, but they’ll probably
wind up with the chicken.
Still, Mr. Trump’s political star is
rising in a period when fringe politics, both on the right and the left, are
making a comeback in the West. Marine Le Pen in France. Beppe Grillo in Italy.
Jeremy Corbyn in Great Britain. Bernie Sanders in the Democratic Party. Every
now and then some of these characters get into office. Look at Viktor Orbán in
Hungary, or Alexis Tsipras in Greece.
Republicans like to think of America as
an exceptional nation. And it is, not least in its distaste for demagogues.
Donald Trump’s candidacy puts the strength of that distaste to the test.

clasificados como secretos de Estado, y siguen las discusiones si eran
clasificados o no cuando ella lo hizo y que otros secretarios de estados tenían
cuentas de E Mails.
Todo esto es algo típico del dicho “Menear el perro”
Los E Mails se están meneando, el servidor está quietecito.
El dicho 'menear el perro' quiere decir propósito desviar la atención
de lo que sería de mayor importancia, a algo más de menor importancia. Por
ello, el acontecimiento menor significativo es catapultado en el candelero,
ahogando la atención debida a lo que originalmente era la cuestión más
importante.
La expresión 'Meneando al perro” quiere decir
esencialmente que para que parezca que el perro está meneando la cola,
sacudimos el perro para que dé la impresión que está meneado la cola.
La expresión viene del refrán que 'un perro es más inteligente que su
cola', pero si la cola fuera más inteligente, entonces la cola 'meneaba al
perro'.
Elaboradamente este dicho fue utilizado como tema de la
película. 'Menear el perro', una película de 1997 protagonizada por Robert de
Niro y Dustin Hoffman.
Hillary nos está meneando el perro para que parezca que está moviendo
la cola, y no miremos a la cabeza.
La cabeza no son los E Mail por sí, que son bastante comprometedores,
pero la cabeza de este asunto es el servidor, que en este caso tiene su nombre

sino que tuviera un servidor propio, que le permitió destruir, sin rastro,
30,000 E mails que según ella eran cartas de amor a Bill y conversaciones de
moda con sus amigas..
Ahora nos da unos cuantos seleccionados con la clasificación estudiada
para poder seguir meneando el perro y que nos quedemos mirando a cómo se mueve
la cola. El mayor delito de Hillary es precisamente lo que pasó,
que una figura pública con acceso a secretos de estado, no puede tener una
manera de exponer su información y mucho menos que pueda destruirla.
Eso es un delito grave..
Pero la cabeza nos sigue mirando riéndose de nosotros mientras
miramos los E mails y ni hablar del servidor.

Desmoralizados los conservadores finalmente están consiguiendo una
opción real, pero están conformándose con Donald Trump.

Donald Trump tiene sus palabritas,
entre ellas "grandioso", "buenísimo", "rico" y
sobre todo "Yo".
Pero la palabra Trumpian que mejor resume su candidatura — y el actual estado
de ánimo de sus seguidores — es simplemente esto: "Cualquier cosa".
"Y que" es la respuesta de
Donald el cuándo o dónde se enfrenta a algo que no le gusta ni entiende. ¿Es
una manera de adoptar una posición: soporta un estado D.C.? Que va a hacer
"lo que es bueno para el distrito de Columbia". (Que sea lo que sea,
cualquier cosa.)
Es una manera de acabar con la
discusión sobre un tema que no puede recordar, o nunca supo en primer lugar.
Otra manera es "Me atengo a lo que he leído." Y virando la cara
siguiente pregunta.
Es un despido independiente, irritado.
Esa es la respuesta cuando alguien le presenta un argumento
de que la mayoría de sus propuestas son imposible legalmente o políticamente o
geofísico, Cualquier cosa, Whatever y no me pregunten más eso.
Imaginan un Marco Rubio o un Jeb Bush o
un Scott Walker, explicando que su posición sobre Irán es hacer lo que sea
excelente. No es simplemente que no se podrían escapar con esa posición. Es que
no se atreverían a intentarlo. Y esa es la gran desconexión de esta campaña actual.
El electorado conservador está emocionante
deseoso para un "cualquier" momento cuando finalmente está
consiguiendo la calidad de candidatos y un debate sustantivo que llevaba años
exigiendo.
Ese electorado lanzó su corazón en las
primarias del partido republicano que despejó hacia fuera materia muerta y
trajo sangre nueva a Washington. Lanzó su alma en la entrega de una nueva
cosecha de jóvenes reformadores ha estado casas y mansiones de Gobernadores.
Fue como el partido voló en dos elecciones presidenciales, y dejó claro que
espera mucho mejor.
Poco a poco, el esfuerzo valió la pena.
Este campo republicano está lleno con candidatos serios (muchos elegidos en
respuesta al Sr. Obama) que han derrotado colectivamente sindicatos públicos,
reformado las pensiones, reducir el gasto y los impuestos, revisado educación y
abrazó el auge de la energía. Es un talento que contiene un neurocirujano, una
empresaria, un erudito de Rhode, un fiscal y varios ejecutivos del estado
—ninguno de los cuales se parece remotamente Mitt Romney o John McCain. Y
ninguno de los cuales se asoció a una autoridad de estado para abrir un casino

Sanders aboga por que el Sr. Trump dice "funciona muy bien en
Escocia." No funciona, por supuesto. En Escocia. O en ningún en el
universo. Pero no importa sea cualquier cosa.
Nota mía, esto es lo que hay veces que hace pensar si Trump todavía
es el mismo Trump liberal, si todavía coquetea con el pagador único, pudiera
serlo también con su pasado apoyo al aborto y a su amistad con los Clinton,
este es un fenómeno raro que no excluye ninguna teoría..
A pesar de lo contrario, los
candidatos del partido republicano han respondido a la frustración de la base

Libertad
de Culto y las leyes establecidas
Este asunto de Kim Davis, la mujer que está presa
porque no quiso poner su nombre en la licencia de matrimonio de homosexuales,
es algo difícil de digerir.
Primero, no sé qué hubiera hecho yo, posiblemente
hubiera cumplido con mi deber en el trabajo aunque no hubiera estado de
acuerdo.
Pero cada persona tiene el derecho de pensar y
creer lo que quiera, eso es la libertad de culto.
No sé lo que mueve a Kim Davis, si es convicción
religiosa genuina o es busca de notoriedad, una persona que ha estado casada
cuatro veces y que tuvo dos hijos fuera del matrimonio y está afiliada al
partido demócrata, no es alguien que me inspire mucha confianza, pero a lo
mejor de verdad se arrepintió y aceptó a Cristo.
No es mi opinión ni la del juez lo que cuenta con
respecto a la conducta de la señora Davis, lo que cuenta es la ley, y la ley de
los derechos a la libertad de culto está bien clara.
No creo que el que perdió un hijo en la guerra,
se sienta bien cuando el hijo de su vecino que es de la religión Cuáquera no
haya ido a la guerra por su convicción religiosa, y haya ejercido su derecho a
no cumplir el servicio militar obligatorio cuando este existía. No
me gusta cuando saludo la bandera y veo que un Testigo de Jehová la rechaza,
pero todo esto está protegido por la ley, no está sujeto a la ley de desacato a
la bandera por su derecho de la libertad convicción religiosa. No me
gusta que se incumpla la ley establecida por convicciones religiosa, pero
peculiarmente, este es el caso, la ley de libertad de culto está supeditada a
las otras leyes, es el legado de los padres de la patria americana.
Siempre y cuando Kim Davis no se oponga a
la ley, tiene el derecho a rechazar hacer algo que esté en contra de su
convicción religiosa.
Somos un país de leyes, la ley específicamente
dice que el dicho “si no te gusta tu trabajo…renuncia” no aplica en las
convicciones religiosas, no puede estar más claro, aunque no estemos de acuerdo
con la ley.
Lo que si aplica en la democracia es que si no te
gusta una ley trata de cambiarla por los canales del sistema, pero mientras
exista tienes que acatarla, y la ley de la libertad de convicción religiosa
está por arriba de una ley aprobada, no por el poder legislativo, pero por el
poder judicial de la Corte Suprema.
Creo que sin importar lo que creamos de la
situación o de la persona de Kim Davis, el juez metió la pata y la señora Davis
tiene un caso legal contra el juez y el estado que la convertirá en millonaria.

Hillary Clinton
Hay una
parte de la población que está excitada esperando por la culminación del desvío
del camino de Hillary Cinton a la casa blanca.
Esta
población se encuentre en la cárcel de mujeres que esperan con intensidad la
posibilidad de tener a Hillary como una nueva huésped.
Todas
esperan ansiosamente tener a Hillary Clinton como una "compañera de
celda" en una prisión Federal y en las afueras de los establecimientos
penales se ven carteles pidiendo “Hillary a prisión en 2016”.
Las
poblaciones de lesbianas encarceladas se despiertan por la mañana soñando y
cantando canciones a Hillary.
Sus
canciones de amor y deseo son oídas en todas las cárceles federales que se
disputan la oportunidad de ser las escogidas para la próxima residencia de
Hillary.
Algunas

¿Qué es el Socialismo?
Los cubanos sabemos bien lo que es el socialismo, por eso podemos
identificarlo cuando vemos la aplicación de su filosofía. Pero no lo
sabíamos bien cuando nos lo empezaron a introducir paulatinamente en
Cuba mucho antes de Fidel Castro. Ahora en los Estados Unidos
vemos la transición socialista que tuvimos en Cuba a través de las décadas de
los cuarenta y cincuenta.
Por primera vez vemos a un candidato presidencial, Bernie Sanders no ocultar
su filosofía socialista.
Pero el socialismo se ha estado implementando por años en Estados
Unidos por los presidentes demócratas, simplemente analizando lo que es el
socialismo podemos apreciar cómo muchos de los principios socialistas ya están
implementados, y si no hay un cambio de curso en las próximas elecciones la
implementación del socialismo marxista será completa en los próximos años.
Socialismo y comunismo son la misma ideología que comunismo que no es
sino una forma extrema del socialismo.

nicely sums up the current degraded state of the 2016 presidential campaign:
“Hillary Addresses Empty Room on Women’s Issues During Campaign Stop in Ohio
Where She Slams Trump for Insulting Women ‘Every Chance He Gets.’ ” The
corrupt dynast who is the inevitable Democratic nominee denounces the shallow
vulgarian who leads the Republican field, for essentially trivial reasons.
Doesn’t it get any better than this?
Actually, the Mail headline overstates
matters a bit. The story reports that some 200 people showed up for the
Columbus, Ohio, Women for Hillary event: “The modest-sized ballroom was half
empty . . ., with supporters herded into a cordoned-off area to
give the impression of a packed crowd.” A pessimist would say the room was
half-full.
How did we reach such a juncture? We’d
argue it has a lot to do with the presidency of the man Hillary Clinton and
Donald Trump both hope to succeed.
Mrs. Clinton was always expected to seek
the presidency again, although some of us had our doubts that she would subject
herself to the demands of a campaign after the bitter disappointment of 2008.
But the Democrats, unlike the Republicans, do not habitually nominate the next
guy in line, as Mrs. Clinton knows all too well. Even when they have, with the
notable exception of 2000, they have tended to have competitive races with
several plausible opponents.
The four challengers to Mrs. Clinton are a strange
lot. The only one who seems plausible in theory is Martin O’Malley, whoever
that is, but he polls in the low single digits. Bernie Sanders is running ahead
of Mrs. Clinton in New Hampshire and according to Quinnipiac has overtaken her in Iowa by a
single point. He isn’t even officially a Democrat.
Nor until recently was Lincoln Chafee, a Republican
senator who lost his re-election bid in 2006, then won his state’s governorship
four years later as an independent. Jim Webb’s partisan affiliation was unclear
before 2006, when he was elected to the Senate; in the past he had served in
the Reagan administration and endorsed candidates of both parties. His main
appeal is to working-class white voters from Appalachia—which these days
increasingly means formerDemocrats.
It has been said that the Clinton
machine cleared the field by dissuading more-serious prospective rivals, and no
doubt there’s some truth to that. But Barack Obama also had a lot to do with
it.
In Politico last month, Jeff Greenfield noted
that Obama “will leave his party in its worst shape since the Great
Depression”—meaning since the outset of the Depression, which ended a period of
Republican dominance. It has been quite a turnaround: During Obama’s first year
in office there were 60 members of the Senate Democratic Caucus and 257 House
Democrats. Those majorities have dwindled to minorities of 46 and 188,
respectively. There were 28 Democratic governors then, vs. 18 now (plus an
independent in Alaska who functions more or less as a Democrat):
Now
turn to state legislatures—although if you’re a loyal Democrat, you may want to
avert your eyes. In 2009, Democrats were in full control of 27 state
legislatures; Republicans held full power in 14. Now? The GOP is in full
control of 30 state legislatures; Democrats hold full power in just 11. In 24
states, Republicans control the governorship and both houses of the
legislature—giving them total control over the political process.
Through redistricting, state legislative
control reinforces both itself and the GOP House majority.
One effect of all these defeats is to shrink the pool
of potential presidential candidates: “The sad thing is that we’re losing all
these promising young guys who were the future of the party,” David Axelrod’s
memoir quotes the president as saying “glumly” on election night 2010. Thus Democrats
are left with a very unappealing choice—an inevitable nominee who, as we noted last month, has
been damaged by her own improper and foolish actions as a member of the Obama
cabinet. Matthew
Continetti of the Washington Free Beacon puts it
unsparingly:
[Ex-Obama
aide Dan] Pfeiffer is half-right when he says, “Hillary Clinton circa 2015 is
not Hillary Clinton circa 2008.” Of her differences as a candidate there can be
no doubt. She’s worse. Much worse. She is more removed from everyday life, more
aloof, more entitled, more prone to verbal gaffes, more vulnerable on questions
of ethics and integrity. She is out of practice, out of shape, out of
alignment. She vacillates between aggression and apology, she panders, she is
clumsy, she is besieged. . . .
[In
2008] she did not have the FBI “A-Team” in possession of her private email
server, investigating whether it compromised national security. She did not
have “senior intelligence officials” leaking to the New York Times that she had
received “highly classified information” on the email account hosted by her
private server. She did not have a judge ordering the State Department to
release tranches of her emails every few months. Her political and personal
future did not depend on the outcome of decisions made at FBI headquarters in
Washington, DC.
WSJ.com noted
last month that in a national Quinnipiac poll “61% of voters say she is not
honest and trustworthy.” For comparison,Newsmax observed
that a Fox News poll found 75% say Iran “can’t be trusted to honor the pact” it
reached with the Obama administration. She’s doing better than Iran, but not
that much better. No wonder a septuagenarian socialist begins to look
appealing.
The president’s party usually takes losses in midterm
elections, but the Democrats’ losses under Obama have been far larger than
most, and that is a function of the president’s approach to governing. AWashington Examiner editorial
is headlined: “On Iran, Obama Won the Fight but Lost the Argument.”
That is, he arm-twisted enough Democrats
to get his way, but “for all the millions of dollars they promised to spend
influencing public opinion, his allies failed to put a dent in the overwhelming
opposition among the American public.” The Iran deal hasn’t yet produced any
electoral consequences—but the Examiner editorial could just as easily have
been written about ObamaCare, which has. Obama will do whatever it takes to
further his ideological goals, regardless of public opinion or political
custom—and for that his party has paid an enormous price.
But so has the Republican Party, in the form of the
Trump phenomenon, which Kim Strassel sums
up as follows:
The
Trumpian word that best sums up his candidacy—and the current mood of his
supporters—is simply this: “Whatever.”
“Whatever”
is The Donald’s response whenever or wherever he confronts something that he
doesn’t like or understand. It’s a way out of taking a position: Does he
support D.C. statehood? He’ll do “whatever is good for the District of
Columbia.” (Whatever that is.)
It’s a
way of ending discussion on a topic he can’t remember, or never knew in the
first place. (“I stand by whatever I read.” Next.)
It’s a
stand-alone, irritated dismissal. (Mr. Trump, what say you to the argument that
most of your proposals are legally or politically or geophysically impossible?
Whatever.)
To be fair, Trump’s campaign is not
completely substance-free; he has taken advantage of a genuine difference of
opinion between the Republican establishment and many of the party’s voters on
the subject of immigration (though many of his specific proposals fit the “whatever”
template). But Tom Tancredo tried that eight years ago, and does anyone
remember Tom Tancredo?
Trump’s appeal is as broad as it is
because he has tapped into a mood among the Republican electorate. Strassel:
“Conservatives have become so demoralized by the Obama state, so frustrated by
the inability to check it, so tired of overpromising Republicans, that they
just want someone to blow up everything. Mr. Trump says he will, and so they’re
good with ‘whatever.’ ”
There’s another aspect of it: Attracting people to
Trump are some of the bad qualities
he shares with Obama. That thought crystallized last night after a Twitter
exchange prompted by another bit of trivial Trumpian vulgarity.
Rolling Stone ran
a lengthy piece about Trump Wednesday, which described the following scene,
in which the candidate is watching Fox News on his campaign plane:
When
the anchor throws to Carly Fiorina for her reaction to Trump’s momentum,
Trump’s expression sours in schoolboy disgust as the camera bores in on
Fiorina. “Look at that
face!” he cries. “Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of
our next president?!” The
laughter grows halting and faint behind him. “I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m
not s’posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”
Despite appearing in Rolling Stone, this account
evidently is accurate, because Trump, appearing yesterday on CNN, offered an implausible explanation
instead of a denial:
“Look,
I’m talking about her persona,” he said, deflecting to Fiorina’s previous
career as CEO of Hewlett Packard. “She failed miserably at Hewlett Packard and
ran for the Senate and lost in a landslide and now running for president. I’m
talking about her persona.”
We tweeted: “Trump’s defense on the ‘face’ comment
reminds me of Obama defenders’ insistence he didn’t say ‘You didn’t build
that.’ ” (See our column of July 18, 2012.)
To which our friend John
Durant, with whom we have a respectful difference of opinion
about Trump, replied: “and Obama won two terms.”
Our rejoinder: “So
how come Trump has to make these silly defenses himself? An army of followers
did it on Obama’s behalf.”
Durant: “B/c
the left shamelessly follows Kerensky’s dictum: No enemies to the left. &
the right is still learning how to win.”
Part of Trump’s appeal is that he is as
brash, full of himself and unwilling to admit error as Obama is. Those
qualities, in that view, make him a winner, like Obama.
Well, maybe. Then again, Trump isn’t
exactly taking the approach of no enemies on the right; if he were, he’d be
friendlier to Fiorina and the other Republican candidates. And is Trump even a
man of the right? Certainly not in the way Obama, a hard-core ideologue, is a
man of the left. We are not aware of any evidence to contradict the proposition
that Trump is merely an ideological opportunist.
To return to the question we asked at
the outset: Doesn’t it get any better than this? Or are we fated to choose
between the dynast and the vulgarian?
Overcoming Mrs. Clinton’s inevitability is likely to
require another Democrat to enter the race. The New York Times lists
four “Big-Name Plan B’s for Democrats Concerned About Hillary Clinton.” One of
them, Vice President Biden, has been the subject of much speculation of late.
The other three are Al Gore, John Kerry and Elizabeth Warren.
That list reinforces our point about the
depleted Democratic ranks. Warren, 66, is the closest thing to a fresh face in
the group, and the only one who entered politics during Obama’s presidency.
Gore is 67, only a few months older than Mrs. Clinton, and Biden and Kerry are
both septuagenarians. All three of the gents have run for president and lost;
Biden and Gore both did so as early as 1988.
As for the Republicans, there is the hope that Trump
will fade. “Trump’s great polling numbers are mainly about name recognition and
media attention,” writes Bloomberg View’s Jonathan Bernstein, who
notes that other early “front-runners,” such as Rudy Giuliani in 2008 and Rick
Perry in 2012, ended up going nowhere.
Bernstein, however, takes the argument
to an implausible extreme. His headline: “Rick Perry’s Chances Are Better Than
Trump’s.” His logic:
I still
think the Republican nominee will be one of the nine candidates who have
conventional qualifications for the job and whose positions on the issues are
within the party’s mainstream. There’s the first tier (in no particular order)
of Marco Rubio, Scott Walker and Jeb Bush; a second tier of John Kasich and Mike
Huckabee, and a long-shot third group consisting of Bobby Jindal, Rick
Santorum, Chris Christie and Perry. This leaves the other candidates—Trump, Ben
Carson, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and the rest—with smaller chances.
Elsewhere he describes the former nine
candidates as “viable.” But even if it’s true that the nominee is far likelier
than not to be one of the “viable” candidates, it doesn’t follow that every
candidate in the “viable” list has a better chance than anyone on the “other”
list.
Besides, judgments of “viability” are rather
arbitrary. We can see the logic of classifying Trump, Carson and Fiorina as
“other,” since none of them have held political office. Likewise Paul, whose
views on national security are outside “the party’s mainstream,” But why Cruz?
He’s only a first-term senator, but so is Rubio. He’s clashed with the party
establishment, but over tactics, not issues. (Last month William Galston listed
Cruz among his “five plausible GOP candidates,” along with Bush, Walker, Rubio
and Kasich.)
And what about Jim Gilmore? He was once governor of a
swing state, and as far as we know his views are within the party’s mainstream.
That’s not to say he is viable,
just that he would appear to fit Bernstein’s definition.
For that matter, is Scott Walker really viable
anymore, never mind part of the “first tier”? The Hill notes that in Quinnipiac’s new
Iowa poll Walker is in 10th place with just 3%. If a Midwesterner can’t win
convincingly in Iowa, how in the world could he take the nomination?
Walker has in part been a casualty of
the Trump phenomenon, caught flat-footed trying to deal with immigration
questions. Assuming Trump doesn’t win the nomination, he may end up providing a
useful service to the Republican Party in exposing the weaknesses of other
candidates, so that they will either improve or be eliminated early. For that,
Republicans really can thank Obama. Democrats will have to make do with Obama-Care.

Estas denominaciones
con su conducta están comportándose cómo unos activistas políticos, tienen su
derecho a expresar sus preferencias pero no a nombre del cristianismo, porque
están negando sus principios, y por lo tanto no son la iglesia que dicen
representar, son simplemente una organización con una agenda
política, y no deben de tener la excepción de impuestos que reclaman,
no es correcto que paguemos con nuestros impuestos su activismo político.

Two topless
women were arrested in France over the weekend after they jumped on stage at a
conference as preachers discussed the role of Muslim women.
The Femen protesters, 25- and
31-years-old, ripped off their Arab-styled cloaks, grabbed the microphones from
the stage and shouted feminist slogans in Arabic and French, according to the Telegraph. Eventually the two were subdued by approximately 15
men who handed them over to police. One of the men appears to kick one of the
women while she is on the ground.

Inna
Shevchenko, a spokeswoman for the protest group, told the Telegraph that the
demonstration occurred while the fundamentalist preachers were discussing
“whether wives should be beaten or not.” One of the protesters had the words,
“I am my own prophet” written across her chest. The other’s chest read, “No one
subjugates me.”
Shevchenko
said some of the men shouted “kill them” and “dirty whores.” She thanked the
police officers for keeping the two women safe after their demonstration.
The women
have been questioned by prosecutors and released as an investigation is
pending. Conference officials said they do plan to press charges.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei continued his heated,
anti-U.S. social media campaign on Sunday by releasing a video promising
death and destruction to American forces if any military action is taken
against his country.

The video opens by quoting President Obama from an interview he
gave assuring those who have any doubts about the Iran nuclear agreement that
the military option is always on the table. “We could knock out their military
with speed and dispatch, if we chose to,” said Obama.
An image of the White House appears next with the Ayatollah’s voice in
the background stating, “A U.S. official has said that he can destroy Iran’s
army. I do not want to say anything more in this regard.”
The video then depicts two cowboys, apparently representing the
United States, with an Iranian fighter in the foreground pulling a knife
on them. Khameni says, “Our predecessors used to call such statements,
‘boasting among strangers.’”

Next, the video shows images of Iran’s military arsenal, which it
has at its disposal to attack U.S. naval and ground forces.
“We neither welcome nor begin any war,” the Ayatollah says, while
animation shows Iranian missiles being fired. “They must know that should any
war break out, one who will emerge humiliated out of it will be invading and
criminal America,” Khamenei promises as the dates of America’s involvement in
Iraq appear on the screen: 2003-2011.
The video draws to a close with a photo of soldiers carrying an American
flag-draped coffin.
The Ayatollah’s threatening video comes on top of equally disturbing
remarks he made last week against the United States and Israel.
As reported by Western Journalism, Khamenei tweeted that Israel need not concern itself
with the terms of the Iranian nuclear agreement, because “You will not see
the next 25 years. God willing there will be nothing [left of the] Zionist
regime….”
As for the United States, Khamenei tweeted that the “‘US is
the Great Satan,’ some insist on depicting this Great Satan as an angel.”
The Ayatollah promised in a speech last Wednesday that his nation would no longer be negotiating
with the United States. “The Iranian nation ousted the Satan. We should not let
it back through the window,” he said, referring to the 1979 Islamic revolution
that toppled the U.S.-backed shah.
In the midst of this bellicose rhetoric, Senate and House Democrats
by-in-large stood with President Obama, voting to approve the Iranian nuclear deal at the end of last
week, thereby blocking Republican efforts to reject it.
A CNN/ORC poll released on Sunday
finds that 59 percent of Americans disapprove of the way President Obama is
handling U.S. relations with Iran. Further, 49 percent of Americans now view
Iran as a serious threat, up 10 points from April. CNN reports:
Most Americans think Iran will ultimately violate the terms of the
agreement, with 37% calling that extremely likely and 23% saying very likely.
Just 10% think it’s not at all likely that Iran would break the agreement.
Republicans (83% likely) and independents (58% likely) are more apt to believe
Iran would violate the agreement than are Democrats (44% likely).
If Iran did violate
the deal, 64% of all adults say the United States should respond with military
action, including majorities across party lines (57% of Democrats, 64% of
independents and 72% of Republicans). About a third, 34%, say the United States
should not take military action if the deal is broken.

indicates that Clinton, then Secretary of State, knew terrorists carried out
the attack and also knew the plan was to use protests regarding a controversial
You Tube video as a “cover” for the attack. Clinton received the email on Sept.
12, 2012, the day after the attack, from Tyler Drumheller. Drumheller, now
deceased, was then a former CIA spy who had challenged information regarding
weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. That false information was used to invade
Iraq.

identified the terrorist group Ansar Al Sharia as the one carrying out the
attack. The group consists of former members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting
Group, the memo said. The memo said the attack was a threat to the newly

attacks on Western facilities is to demonstrate that the GNC cannot protect its

The second part of

The Benghazi Select Committee wanted to talk to
Bryan Pagliano, a former IT specialist, over possible destroying evidence. The
investigative committee sent a letter requesting Pagliano’s presence. An
attorney for Pagliano sent a response back on Aug. 31 stating his client would
“respectfully assert his fifth amendment right” before the committee.

make no sense to “repudiate” the nuclear arms deal with Iran.
Speaking
about the agreement to rein in Tehran’s nuclear program, the billionaire real
estate mogul calls it “a horrible contract” and says he’d work to improve it if
elected.
Trump tells
MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program he feels qualified because “I do like to buy bad
contracts.”
He repeats
his charge that the deal was “negotiated by totally incompetent people.” Trump
says in Friday’s interview that Iran “is going to be an absolute terror,”
predicting Tehran would use money from sanctions relief to create instability
in the region.
Trump says
that if elected, “I will make that agreement so tough that if they break it,
they will have hell to pay.”

about the defiant Kentucky clerk who has refused to issue gay marriage
licenses, Trump said he “hates” to see her put in jail for standing up for her
Christian beliefs, but argued the Supreme Court has ruled on the issue and the
law has to be followed.

rather than her.
“You have to
go with it,” he added. “The decision’s been made and that’s the law of the
land.”

Donald Trump
continues to find support all over the place, constantly surprising many
watchers of politics. But one voice of support was just offered from someone
who probably won’t help Trump even a little bit with the base.
In a move that is
sure to cause raised eyebrows among conservatives, Trump just got the seal of
approval from redistributionist “economist” Paul Krugman of The New York Times.

Despite the fact that
Krugman has in the past blasted Trump as a “belligerent,
loudmouth racist with not an ounce of compassion,” on Monday, the liberal
economist nonetheless found that there were some things about Trump he was
willing to endorse.
In his Monday op ed, Krugman found
himself amazed that Trump was so willing to trounce on Republican orthodoxy
when it comes to economic policy.
Krugman noted that
other Republicans are gearing up to attack Trump for his “heresy for not
accepting” the Republicans’ “failed orthodoxy” on economics because of Trump’s
“willingness to raise taxes on the rich” and “his positive words about
universal health care.”

Krugman didn’t go so
far as to say Trump was a good candidate simply because of his economic views,
though. In fact, Krugman went to pains to note that Trump is still “exactly the
ignorant blowhard he seems to be.”
But in his op-ed,
Krugman goes on to accuse Jeb Bush and conservatives looking to topple Trump
from his growing lead in the polls of trying to undercut the real estate mogul
on the very issues where Krugman thinks Trump is right.
“Mr. Bush has chosen
to attack Mr. Trump as a false conservative, a proposition that is supposedly
demonstrated by his deviations from current Republican economic orthodoxy: his
willingness to raise taxes on the rich, his positive words about universal
health care,” Krugman wrote on Monday. “For the issues the Bush campaign is
using to attack its unexpected nemesis are precisely the issues on which Mr.
Trump happens to be right, and the Republican establishment has been proved
utterly wrong.”
Krugman also assumed
that because so many Trump fans are seemingly not upset over Trump’s more
liberal economic views, this has revealed some sort of rift in the party
between the GOP elites and the base that is supportive of Trump.
With Trump’s ability
to self-fund his campaign and his lack of a need to kowtow to the donor class,
Krugman imagines that many Republican voters have turned away from the sort of
supply-side economics that have fueled the right since Reagan.
Since Trump is
self-funding, Krugman says, he “didn’t need to genuflect to the big money, and
it turns out that the base doesn’t mind his heresies. This is a real
revelation, which may have a lasting impact on our politics.”
But Krugman is likely
overthinking the whole economics angle. He is correct that right now, the base
isn’t churned up about Trump’s “heresies” from a more conservative economic
perspective. But it is less likely that voters are figuring a concerted
economic theory into their support for Trump and instead are simply so upset at
the party elites that Trump’s complete “outsider” status is what they are
responding to.
So, yes, voters are
upset at the GOP establishment, but less over esoteric economic theory and more
because the GOP establishment is viewed as a crashing failure on every level.
And Trump, the most viable outsider, is whom they are rooting for–at least for
now.

Many
people are comparing Donald Trump to late president Ronald Reagan, but
according to his son Michael Reagan, these comparisons are unfounded.
The son
of the late president talked about his distaste for the Trump campaign and the
American people’s enthralled reaction to the billionaire in a series of regular
interviews with Newsmax over the summer. Reagan said his father
really believed in what he called the “11th Commandment,” which is “Thou shalt not
speak ill of any fellow Republican.”

Por fin se impone el derecho y el
sentido común. Sin duda la
participación ciudadana ha sido muy relevante. Si participaste en esta campaña,

Te recuerdo la
petición:
El juez dice que la
libera porque está seguro de que se comportará adecuadamente' en su trabajo. Es
obvio que Kim Davis va a seguir negándose a oficiar 'matrimonios' entre
personas del mismo sexo. Lo ha dicho muy claro:
"Para mí, esto nunca ha sido un tema de
ser gay o lesbiana. Es sobre el matrimonio y la palabra de Dios"
Por si no se le había
entendido, su abogado señalaba lo siguiente a la salida de la prisión: "NO PLANTEA TRAICIONAR SU CONCIENCIA”.
Ahora queda por ver
cómo es tratada laboralmente y si se respeta su libertad religiosa y de
conciencia.
Kim Davis es la
primera persona en entrar en la cárcel, pero no la primera en tener problemas
por negarse a oficiar 'bodas' gays. Varios
funcionarios de EEUU están teniendo problemas.
Y eso que varios
estados han aprobado leyes de libertad religiosa que supuestamente les

Several of my friends have opined that
Carly Fiorina would make a great VP to Donald Trump. She sounds so good, and
she makes some valid points, but actions speak louder than words, as we all
well know. In my book, Carly Fiorina is just another Trotskyite, and if you
will not go that far, she clearly uses Marxist techniques. Read on, and I will
explain.
In actuality, I am not sure writing
about Fiorina, Jindahl, Rubio, Graham, or Perry (again), is not a waste of
time. As it stands right now, the top contenders are Trump, Jeb Bush, and maybe
Cruz, the latter of whom I have written about previously and now have updated.
Nevertheless, readers have asked for information on all the GOP candidates.
Since Carly allegedly won the early debates of the lesser contenders, she's
next on the list.

Fiorina, born September 6, 1954, is an American politician, former business executive, and
current chair of the non-profit organization Good360.
Carly's father was Joseph Sneed, long time alleged conservative judge on the liberal

This was a big story back when Lucent was first named. Everyone was on the bandwagon that this was a Luciferian company. The Lucent logo, the Innovation Ring, was designed by Landor Associates, a prominent San Francisco-based branding consultancy. One source inside Lucent said that the logo is actually a Zen Buddhist symbol for "eternal truth," the Enso, turned 90 degrees and modified. Another source says it represents the mythic ouroboros, a snakeholding its tail in its mouth. Lucent's logo also has been said to represent constant re-creating and re-thinking. Carly Fiorinapicked the logo because her mother was a painter and she rejected the sterile geometric logos of most high tech companies. The Lucent name and logo still give me the willies, and I remember all the info on it back in the 90s.

Hewlett-Packard
As chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard (HP) from 1999 to 2005, she was the
first woman to lead one of the top twenty U.S. companies. Fiorina received a
larger signing offer than any of her predecessors, including $65 million in
stock, a $3 million signing bonus, a $1 million annual salary (plus a
$1.25–3.75 million annual bonus), $36,000 in mortgage assistance, a relocation
allowance, and permission (and encouragement) to use company planes for
personal affairs. She was the first woman to lead a Fortune 20 company, and
that is one huge accomplishment.
However, Fiorina instituted three major
changes to HP's culture shortly after her arrival: a shift from nurturing
employees to demanding financial performance, replacing profit sharing with bonuses awarded if the company met
financial expectations, and a reduction in operating units from 83 to 4. There
were mergers and sell offs, and she was booed at company meetings and attacked
on HP's electronic bulletin
board.
At HP, Carly presented herself as a
realist regarding the effects of globalization. She was a strong proponent,
along with other technology executives, of the expansion of the H-1B visa program. Fiorina responded against
protectionism in an editorial in the Wall Street Journal,
writing that while "America is the most innovative country," it would
not remain so if the country were to "run away from the reality of the
global economy."
Fiorina said to Congress in 2004:
"There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore. We have to
compete for jobs as a nation." While she argued that the only way to
"protect U.S. high-tech jobs over the long haul was to become more
competitive [in the United States]," her comments prompted "strong
reactions" from some technology workers who argued that lower wages
outside the United States encouraged the off shoring of American jobs. Because of changes to
HP's culture, and requests for voluntary pay cuts to prevent layoffs
(subsequently followed by the largest layoffs in HP's history), employee
satisfaction surveys at HP—previously among the highest in America—revealed
"widespread unhappiness" and distrust. [Link]
During Fiorina's time as CEO, HP's
revenue doubled due to mergers with Compaq and other companies, and the rate of
patent filings increased. However, the company reportedly underperformed in
several areas: there were no gains in HP's net income despite a 70% gain in net income of the S&P 500 over this period; [Link] the company's debt rose from ~4.25 billionUSD to
~6.75 billion USD; and stock price fell by 50%, exceeding declines in the
S&P 500 Information Technology Sector index and the NASDAQ. [Link]
In 2002, Carly was America's leading CEO
for firing workers. As CEO of HP, she
fired 33,000 workers according to the San Jose Mercury. She
shipped American jobs to both India and China according to the Center for
Industrial Competitiveness. Fiorina cut workers’ salaries by $130 million while
collecting $90 million for herself according to the book, "Greed and
Good." While other CEO's during the dot.com crisis took pay cuts, Carly Fiorina took
a 231% raise according to Executive Excess of 2003.
Loyalty was not among her high
priorities according to the book, "Backfire." While at HP, she traded
with Iran in violation of U.S. trade sanctions by using a foreign entity. She
has even praised and worked with, Jew hater - “Hymietown” - Jesse Jackson. [Link], [Link]
Business Week reported that she even
hung her portrait in the lobby of HP. She
also wanted HP to ship her yacht through the Panama Canal, reported the NYT's.
Carly was called a flop and fired by the HP board, but collected $42 million in
her "golden parachute," and $50,000 for career counseling. She also
received a $200,000 a year pension. Fiorina is rated one of the worst CEOs in
history along with Ken Lay of Enron.
Fiorina and McCain
After resigning from HP, Fiorina served
on the boards of several organizations and during this time, she was recruited
by John McCain as the top advisor for his Republican 2008 presidential campaign. In 2010, when Carly ran for the Senate
against Barbara Boxer, McCain supported and campaigned for her. As far as I'm
concerned, her relationship with leftist McCain should disqualify her as a
presidential candidate. The Senator not only attended an Acorn rally, [Link], but has received funds in the past from a number of
George Soros' shadowy organizations. [Link], [Link]
McCain is no conservative, he is a

Fiorina and the Hegelian Dialectic
In October of 2013, my friend, Mary
Thompson wrote an article in NewsWithViews.com titled, Hegelian Dialectic on
the Right. In that article, Mary stated that the Fiorina known
in Silicon Valley is no conservative that Carly worked with Arnold
Schwarzenegger’s transition team when he was elected governor and we all know
that Arnold, like McCain, is no conservative.
The article goes on to say apparently
Fiorina is not much for voting, that she only voted in five of the previous 18
elections. As well, "According
to www.capoliticalnews.com, July
11, 2009, records showed that her Fiorina Foundation had never registered with
the IRS or the state Attorney General’s Charitable Trust division, which tax
exempt charities are required to do."
Fiorina won the 2010 Republican Senate
nomination in California, but lost to Barbara Boxer. The article states the
reason why... "Fiorina’s
loss may have reflected the fact of her being possibly the most disliked person
in the public eye after running the iconic Hewlett-Packard Corporation into the
ground resulting in massive job losses. The family members of the founders of
H-P refused to endorse her candidacy for Senate, they actively worked against
her campaign by sending out letters explaining why."
All of the above is telling, but is
still minor compared to a speech delivered by Fiorina at the Progress and
Freedom Foundation Seventh Annual Summit at Aspen, CO in 2001. From Mary
Thompson's article,

conference with a scholarly address. She did not give interviews, but she did
mention a reporter in her speech—a young guy who could not spell the name of

know, the process of Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis? I use it every day,"

The reporter only touched the tip of the
iceberg of the entire speech in which Fiorina elaborated re: her devotion the
idea of the Hegelian Dialectic as a tool for decision-making. She suggested the
synthesis of the status of schools to be "charter schools." The entire speech is still available on line.
Republican presidential hopeful, Carly Fiorina’s
Hegelian Dialectical thinking process is highly flawed and immoral. It is not based upon

I would urge everyone to read Mary
Thompson's article as it goes into detail on what the Hegelian Dialectic is,
and how it is used. Is Fiorina a Marxist? Maybe not, but she is using Marxist
techniques, and why would a so-called conservative use the collectivist ideas
of Hegel? I fully believe this woman is another leftist masquerading as a
conservative Christian. Remember too that charter schools are tax funded, but
do not report to the local school boards. There you have it...taxation without
representation!
Fiorina and Islam
Carly Fiorina chooses to believe that
the Islamic Ottoman Empire was the greatest in the world. Like Chris Christie,
she is snuggled with Islamists. In a speech that was given a mere two weeks
after Islamic jihadists attacked America, the former HP chief executive officer gave a speech on
technology, business and our way of life. She glorified Islam and made only
slight mention of European Christians and Jews having much to do with modern
civilization.

Board of the World Economic Forum, which
has observer status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
Congressional support for global
governance will not wane on Carly’s watch. Agenda 21 and “sustainable development” are the
new buzzwords for “global socialism” through global governance and Carly sits
on the Foundation Board at the mother ship.
We should be asking Carly to describe
her long-term relationship with Dr. Khalid al-Mansour—aka
Don Warden, Black Panther puppet master, Saudi Royal front man and Obama
education financier.
Fiorina sits on other Boards with
al-Mansour, such as the African Leadership Academy. Al-Mansour, aka Don Warden, was the
man behind the men of the Black Panther movement in the 1960s. He has long held
hope for a “black nationalist” president, starting as far back as his relationship
with Malcolm X. In fact, X died while speaking at one of al-Mansour’s college
campus rallies.
Also, please check out the article by
Tim Brown on Freedom Outpost entitled, Carly Fiorina: Islamic Civilization was “Greatest in the World.” The author asks a great question at the
end of the article, "So,
Fiorina has promoted lies from an anti-Christ religion and culture. Is this
really the kind of person conservatives, let alone Christians, should be
getting behind? If she does this with Islam and history, what do you think her
mindset would be when it comes to the Constitution?"
Conclusion
Carly Fiorina talks a good game for the
electorate of America, but in reality, she is another neo-conservative player
who belongs more to the noxious left than to the old Constitutional right. She
will never get my vote.

You Think He Did Afterwards?
Dr. Ben Carson has exploded on the GOP
scene. Your average, grassroots Republican loves his honesty and candor in all
things. In fact, his willingness to say exactly what he believes has endeared
him to many voters who have grown tired of politicians who speak like
politicians.
Over the last few months he’s taken the
opportunity to venture onto MSNBC and CNN, where he’s been asked hard questions
about his comments and philosophies… and he’s walked away from those encounters
unscathed. Each new interview that he comes out from without falling flat on
his face makes him more and more plausible as a Presidential candidate.
In a recent interview with the
Daily Caller, the rising Republican star admitted to a very
harrowing experience he had as a young man that would have ended his dreams of
medicine (and politics) before they ever started.
I had real anger issues. I would just fly off the
handle and really become quite irrational and try to hurt people with baseball
bats, hammers, whatever. In this particular case, I happened to have a large
camping knife. And, you know, one of my friends angered me. And I just lunged
at his abdomen with the knife. Probably would have seriously injured or killed
him, but he happened to have on a large metal belt buckle under his clothing,
upon which the blade broke.
And, of course, he fled in terror. But I was more
horrified than he was, because I realized that I was trying to kill somebody
over nothing — and that I would never realize my dreams of becoming a
physician. And I would end up in jail, reform school, or the grave. And I just
locked myself in the bathroom and started praying

El
creador de una película independiente que aún no había sido terminada, titulada
Gray State y que trataba sobre el establecimiento de un estado tiránico y
dictatorial en EEUU ha sido hallado muerto junto a su familia en su casa de
Minnesota. El caso resulta especialmente sospechoso dado el contenido
controvertido de la prometedora película, que había levantado expectación en
determinados círculos de la red.
Las
autoridades sostienen que las muertes fueron a causa de un presunto
asesinato-suicidio. Según la policía, David Crowley, de 29 años, habría matado
a su esposa, Komel, de 28 años, y a su hija de 5 años de edad y después se
habría suicidado.
Uno
de los actores que aparecen en el tráiler de Gray State, Charles Hubbell,
afirma que Crowley era una persona completamente equilibrada y que parecía
destinado a tener mucho éxito en su proyecto.

La
campaña de financiación de la película impulsada en Indiegogo durante octubre
de 2012, consiguió reunir 61,332 dólares que se destinaron a “necesidades de

Crowley
también había estado trabajando en una película de no ficción titulada Gray
State: The Rise “un
documental que pretendía ensalzar la belleza de la libertad sobre la opresión,
la esclavitud y la tiranía”, según la página de Facebook de la película.
GREY STATE: UN PROYECTO
CONTROVERTIDO Y PROMETEDOR…
En el tráiler subido a YouTube
desde hace dos años, Crowley se acredita como escritor y director de la
película en curso, titulada “Gray State”. El tráiler muestra escenas donde
podemos ver imágenes de policía militarizada, violencia armada y muestras de
algún tipo de insurgencia ciudadana luchando contra un estado tiránico.
El tráiler era utilizado para
solicitar financiación popular para el proyecto. El tráiler de la película
muestra explícitamente lo que podría considerarse un estado tiránico policial.
Podemos ver escenas en las que
ciudadanos estadounidenses comunes se ven forzados a un control biométrico
estricto, recibiendo implantes de identificación bajo la piel, para poder
comprar alimentos y otros bienes; también se pueden ver escenas de policía
armada y Guardia Nacional atacando a multitudes desarmadas y ejecutando a
civiles; estantes de las tiendas vacías tras lo que parece ser un colapso;
policía llevándose a personas de sus hogares durante incursiones nocturnas y lo
que parecen ser grupos “rebeldes” armados que luchan contra las tropas del
Estado y la policía.
Hacia el final del tráiler
aparecen las palabras “La Segunda Revolución Americana podría no ser recordada”
Según afirma la sinopsis de la
película que podemos encontrar bajo el tráiler de YouTube: El mundo se tambalea
bajo el torbellino de la guerra, los desastres geológicos y el colapso
económico, mientras los estadounidenses siguen sumergiéndose en su ilusión de
seguridad e inmunidad. Mientras los derechos y libertades se venden a cambio de
seguridad, el gobierno federal, hinchado de poder, comienza a apoderarse
sistemáticamente de la libertad con el fin de lograr un nuevo orden mundial.
Los estadounidenses, confinados en cuarentena en distritos militarizados, se
convierten en una población pasto del control tiránico.
Difusión del miedo, del
terrorismo, del estado policial, la ley marcial, la guerra, la detención, el
internamiento, el hambre, la opresión, la violencia, la resistencia,
estos son los nuevos términos por los que los americanos definen su existencia.
El vecino se vuelve contra el vecino a medida que el valor del dólar se hunde hasta llegar a cero, los suministros de alimentos se agotan, y todo el mundo es susceptible de ser sospechoso de terrorismo. Hay detenciones. Desapariciones. Ataques Biológicos.

Como podemos ver, la película
concentra gran parte del argumentario considerado “conspiranoico”, popularizado
en las redes por personajes como Alex Jones, Dave Hodges o el ex-gobernador de
Minnesota Jesse Ventura, que vienen advirtiendo desde hace años del
establecimiento de un gobierno tiránico en los EEUU y de un Nuevo Orden
Mundial.
Más allá de si tienen razón en
sus apreciaciones o de si lo que dicen no son más que un conjunto de locuras
conspirativas, lo cierto es que la muerte, natural o no del director de esta
película, contribuirá aún más a levantar sospechas y reforzará aún más su
discurso, quizás convirtiendo el proyecto en un mito.(Continuará: final en la próxima

I watched
today with sadness the raising of the American flag--converted into an Obama
flag of surrender--to a declared enemy of the United States.
No matter
that the John Kerry (considered a traitor by many for his conduct during the
Vietnam war) State Department with the blessing of Obama conveniently removed
the Cuban regime from the terrorist list, Cuba is a terrorist country.
The
connections of the Cuban regime with the terrorist Colombian narco-guerrilla
(FARC), with North Korea, North Vietnam, Iran, China, Putin's Russia and other
evils are well known and many have written about it. The record is clear and
speaks volumes to the true nature of the Castro regime.
Obama's
surrender to this totalitarian communist military regime, without any
conditions, is an affront to the long history of Cubans fighting for their
freedom from Spain during the XIX century and after gaining their independence
on May 20, 1902, against more challenges to its yearn for freedom during its 56
years as a Republic. And since 1959 against the communist regime that Castro
forced on the population.
Castro--as in
all other communist regimes--declared war against the Cuban people and after
confiscating (stealing) all their assets, divided and destroyed the family
unit, placing a total embargo on initiative and enterprise. These are the
causes of the suffering and despair, not the propaganda championed by the U.S.
liberal media and academia--not the U.S. embargo.
The Cuban fight for freedom was betrayed by President Kennedy in April
1961 during the Bay of Pigs by changing the landing site of the Brigade 2506 to
a swamp against the best advice of the Cuban fighters that new the area.
The Cuban people were betrayed again by President Kennedy during the
Missile Crisis in October 1962 through an infamous agreement with Soviet Union
dictator Nikita Khrushchev. The U.S. agreed to protect the Castro regime from
invasion from the U.S, or any another country. In fact the U.S. became a
protector of Castro's communist regime in detriment of the Cuban population.
Another betrayal of a U.S. President came during the Elian Gonzalez
affair when President Clinton, Janet Reno and Erik Holder did everything in
their power to cooperate with Castro's plan to return the the 6 year old Elian
to Cuba after his mother lost her life to bring her son to freedom in the U.S.
The Cuban
Americans in Miami were right with their claim--based in their firsthand
experience with the Castro' regime--that Elian was going to become a
poster-child of the revolution. Fifteen years later has proven them 100%
correct. Sadly, that's exactly what Elian became.
The latest
betrayal by Obama is one more nail in the coffin of the Cubans on the island
and abroad.
I noticed
today, when the American flag was raised again to the top of the mast after
more than half a century, it clung to the mast and wrapped itself around it,
hiding its face ashamed of what was happening again from an American President.
Obama and his "legacy" will live in infamy.
There was no wind to move that flag and make Old Glory fly proudly. It
cried in silence with the Cubans.

Time to End Big-Labor’s Corrosive Influence on the
Federal Government

In 2012, American taxpayers shelled out some $156
million to do the bidding of big-government union bosses. Federal workers spent
more than 3.3 million hours that year doing union work, instead of serving the
government.
It’s a scheme that could only have been hatched in
Washington. It’s called “official time,” and it allows government employees to
work full-time for federal union bosses on the taxpayers’ dime. It’s just one
of the reasons why action is required to end the corrosive influence big labor
has on our federal government.
As president, I would stop that influence cold by
eliminating federal government unions and returning power back to where it
belongs: in the hands of hardworking taxpayers.
This idea is not new. Even President Franklin D.
Roosevelt, one of America’s most revered liberals, realized just how
counter-intuitive it is to allow union bosses to advocate against the best
interests of the government. Union bargaining, Roosevelt said, “cannot be
transplanted into the public service.”
In fact, until 1962, federal law explicitly prohibited
federal workers from collectively bargaining. President Kennedy, however,
shrewdly realized that by allowing public sector employees to unionize at the
federal level, Democrats would stand to gain votes and hefty political
contributions. He was right.
Federal union political donations go overwhelmingly to
liberal political candidates and causes. In the 2014 election cycle alone, the
largest federal employee union, the American Federation of Government
Employees, contributed more than $943,000 to political candidates – 93 percent
of which went to Democrats. Not to be outdone, the National Treasury Employees
Union, which represents employees across more than 30 federal agencies and
departments, gave more than 95 percent of its $550,050 in candidate
contributions to Democrats. These lopsided donations in support of Democrats
have been happening for decades, according to the Center for Responsive
Politics, which tracks the political donations of unions and other groups.
What’s more, federal unions are a force for making our
government less efficient and accountable. Case in point is union opposition to
a commonsense congressional proposal that would simply give the scandal-plagued
Department of Veterans Affairs the ability to “remove or demote a VA employee
based on performance or misconduct.” In case the union bosses hadn’t noticed,
VA has a lot of problems nowadays, and difficulty firing bad employees is one
of them.
Federal unions are also at the forefront of keeping
federal employees involved in egregious misconduct on the federal payroll. When
an employee at a VA hospital in Kansas City, Mo., allowed a patient to wander
out of a secure psychiatry unit in 2014, VA officials sought to fire the
employee. But the union representing the worker wouldn’t allow that. Instead,
it fought to reduce the penalty to a suspension, and later helped the employee
get back pay for the time he was under suspension. Union protection also
prevented the government from firing a USDA food inspector who failed to
discover a massive rat infestation in a pasta-production plant. The union won
back-pay for the employee despite his actions jeopardizing the health of consumers.
These are just a few examples.
And let’s not forget the fact that federal unions
interfere with the ability of the government to serve the people. Consider the
millions of hours each year federal employees spend working for big-labor
bosses, rather than the American people. In 2012, taxpayers subsidized more
than 3.3 million hours of “official time,” in which government employees are
paid to work exclusively for union bosses, at a cost of $156 million to
American taxpayers.
At the IRS, which has been busy attacking conservative
groups instead of actually helping Americans deal with their taxes, more than
200 employees work full-time for big-government union bosses at taxpayer
expense. The situation is even worse at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where
in fiscal year 2013, more than 250 employees – including medical professionals
– collected taxpayer-funded salaries to work for union bosses instead of
veterans. The fact that this is occurring at a time when the IRS and VA lurch
from one scandal to another and struggle to provide basic services to those
they are charged with serving underscores the need for reform.
Under current law, employees at some federal agencies
like the FBI, CIA, Secret Service and the Government Accountability Office are
already prevented from unionizing. The sensitive work done at these agencies
requires employee accountability and efficiency, which federal unions often
work against. We should give all federal agencies the ability to operate
without the limitations and inefficiencies federal unions cause.
As president, I will work with Congress to prohibit
federal employee unions because it’s the right thing for workers, taxpayers and
the future of the American government. I have no illusions that this effort
will be easy. Opponents will say that we’re robbing federal workers of their
rights and workplace protections. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Total compensation for federal employees is already 30 to 40 percent higher
than their civilian counterparts and they already enjoy strong workplace
protections and high job security rates.
The vast majority of federal workers do an outstanding
job and deserve our appreciation and protection, which they will receive under
a Walker administration. But taxpayers deserve the same thing. One of the ways
I will achieve that is by removing the corrosive influence of federal unions
from our government.
